Not only is Simone Biles the greatest gymnast of all time. She is a class act. She's intelligent; insightful, very thoughtful and measured in response to "ALL" criticism of both her personally and the sport she represents. She is right: "not everyone needs a mic and a platform" sometimes your body of work and your talent speak volumes. Kudos to Simone

@@phil0910Respectfully, she had what gymnasts call “the twisties” which means you cannot tell where you are in the air causing a possible dangerous landing which lead to broken bones or even a broken neck. If she had continued she could have severely hurt herself or even died, it is that serious. And the events she chose for the individual were not all that as she only got a silver and a bronze showcasing that she clearly was not in top form.

I had never heard of Simone, but an advert for a car had me searching for her name.
I was a young schoolgirl when Olga Korbut won the hearts and minds of my generation.
I never expected to be lucky enough to see another gymnast of such excellence.

The audacity to criticize the core gymnastics team when she herself never once made the core team 😆😆 She was just an alternate in Rio 2016 and didn’t make the cut for Tokyo 2020 either. But she was allowed to compete as an individual in the non-nominative spot (which was a big controversy) But even then, she didn’t make the finals for any of the events. It wasn’t until Simone Biles had to withdraw due to having a severe case of “the twisties” that Makayla was used as basically an alternate and competed in the Vault Finals in her place. So she never even made it to where these women are right now. Yet she throws shade at them like she’s had the career of Mary Lou Retton or Aly Raisman, instead of just an alternate. Delusional.

Safe Sport is the way to go in order to help children learn, flourish and grow into healthy adults through sport activities. The required behavior guidelines keeps them safe clearly defining acceptable behaviors. This is very important for all who participate.

It's funny how someone will be little someone else that is better than themselves, especially when they also had to deal with emotional struggles in life period. I agreed with a lot of the comments that people have written about this occurrence. You said what you said and life goes on and people will remember the negative comments you made about Simone Biles and will be talking about you until the next Olympics “2028”. In reading some of the comments a lot of the people have made negative comments towards your negative mouth and behavior towards Simone Biles. This is my second comment but in reading other comments people are thinking you’re a bully in sheep skin and want other people to agree with you being a bully!! I want to thank all those people/persons who gave expiring comments about Simone Biles and didn’t become a bully like that young lady agreeing with her comments. That’s what they do to compensate for what they didn’t accomplish themselves or in their life. Thats why you have bullying in schools because the students have parents that were bullies and then other students follow them thinking they are best friends. People choose your friends if a person gossip about others negatively what do you think they are saying about you to others. You think you are bosom buddies thats why what she said got out because someone as a good person didn’t agree with the negative comments she was spewing from her mouth and they told someone what she was saying and more and more people spoke up for Simone Biles and her accomplishments. Little girls start gymnastics at 6 or 7 years of age. They get really intense quickly. A lot of them don't have a chance to have a normal childhood. A lot of the coaches are tougher than they need to be.
I can stand people who complain about whatever verbal abuse to mistreatment they had to endure. She had a choice to either work in that kind of environment or move on and find other means. YOU can’t eat at the same table as Simone.

I was born a competitor, and my prayers go out tothose who were molested by that animal of a coach. To the young lady who made a statement towards anyone of the women. Makayla, you are a competitor and I see you had what to take .stay focused.
