The new 2021 BMW M5 Competition is extremely powerful and fast with the twin turbo engine and xDrive 4WD system! I love how the blue paint looks on the outside with all the black accents. The interior is equally as nice with extremely comfortable leather seats that also look very sport! The 2021 M5 rode very smooth in comfort mode but then woke up into a beast in the sport plus modes! New 2021 M5 Competition is a great sedan that can do everything!

O my goodness!! That is one insane M5!!!! Absolutely LOVE that color!! And like you say the black alloys are a great contrast to it!! Those seats look super comfortable and the interior is so incredibly stylish and premium!! The performance is on another level though!! You must have been pumped to get to take it a spin!! That was a really great review!! Oh love the haircut by the way!! :-)
I became a big fan of the M5 after driving this!! Such a sick spec with a beautiful color. So comfortably and yet so crazy sporty!!

Not really. The old V8's were not the best. But these modern turbo engines seem to be very solid and reliable. I think 2014 and newer BMW are great cars. I sold a ton of BMW's when I worked at a dealer. Never had issues with any of the turbo models.

BMW nailed the styling of this new M5. Unfortunately can’t say the same about the new M3/M4
The M5 is fantastic all around! The M3/M4 might take some time to grow on you. After checking out the 440i, it grew on me a lot and I think it’s pretty sleek
I'm like you, I've always been a huge fan of the M5. In my opinion this is like the smaller version of the Alpina B7 from the performance aspect and I can only imagine how beautiful a night drive would be! And I bet a lot of folks were looking at you sideways when they saw you driving this!

BMW colors are on point these days. This is a great example but also the new m3/4s have bright, vibrant colors that match the performance. M division has been hanging out with the Civic type R designers :)

Probably going to pick this Competition model at the end of the year. I have an M5 e60 and I love it but want something newer. I’m sad this isn’t a V10 like mine. I’m going all blacked out but I’ll miss the sunroof!

Yah never know. I’m sure when they spec cars, they know what sells. Me personally, I’d take the sporty look and a base stereo all day. They all sound the same to me. So maybe they found that customers that like flashy specs don’t need the fancy audio. 😎

I have watched many of your videos. Which one do you like driving the most as a daily drive: 2017 E63, 2020 BMW M550i or this 2021 BMW M5 Competition? I want to select one out of these 3
Personally I like the M5 the best. But if it was my money I'd buy the M550i. Then tune it and do intakes and exhaust. It would would be faster then the stock M5 and be so much cheaper. I like the E63 a lot too tho. But Mercedes tech is too much for me. I like the simple BMW screens
Would you take the m5 Competition over the M4 cs. Like the m4 because the coupe. But the m5 600hp
Depends on if you want better access into the rear seats! The M4 can easily be tuned up to match that power though!

Looks very similar to Toyota's Voodoo blue for sure! Loved this color!

I would disagree depending on the car. With technology of today, a 4 door "sportscar" can handle just as good as two doors, if you need that extra space!

haha that'd be cool! My car would definitely win since I make about 600 HP at the wheels and weigh much less. But the M5 for it's size and weight would certainly give a GTR a run! Stock for stock it'd be interesting!

@@zaina1570 Well I might be biased as a GTR owner. But by far the GTR! Way more fun then the others and you don’t see them everyday! GTR is a true supercar that can be daily driven. Corvette and Camaro are cool sportscars. But they aren’t too special

I'm not 100% sure. Check out BMW's website and see if you can build one with a manual

@@graemelake5078 There was a start up and rev, not sure why you keep saying that, check 5:00 mark. But this is how I do a review on a vehicle, I can’t make it specific to each individual reviewer.

Were you able to compare the new M5 Competition vs M3 Competition?
If so, do you think the M3 Competition is a better buy?
2) *Analogue vs Digital Gauge Cluster.*
Do you prefer the analogue gauge cluster to the new all-digital gauge cluster in the new M-series cars?
The M3 hasn’t hit the dealers just yet. But I’ve been in previous M3 and M5 cars. The 3 series is a bit small in the back to be comfortable back seats for other then children. So if you actually need a good amount of space. M5 is the way to go! You’re really not sacrificing much handling for the bigger car.
I prefer the analog gauges. I don’t like how other brands have soooo many different configurations for gauges with the screen. I’d never use all that. But I like how BMW makes it simple for their digital gauges. I like how my Supra is set up and how it’s a mix of both

Thats why I said 'over 600 HP'. It ranged from 611, 617 and 625 on many different sites. Regardless. The 2021 M5 is fast!!

2021 M5 vs. M550i xDrive Sedan.
Do you think buying the M550i xDrive Sedan over the M5 is better?
That's a tough one. The M550i is roughly $85K, where as the M5 is around $121K so there's the price difference! But for maybe $5K in mods on the M550i you could have similar performance with suspension and tuning. They are both great cars so just depends on what you need and how much you are willing to spend. The M5 of course has the name with it "M5", but it's just a badge lol
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Thanks! I didn't know if the exterior body and specs between the M550i and M5 created major or just minor differences between them.
I think it's just the bumpers and side skirts that will be different. Not sure about the fender arches like what the previous M3 was over the 340i.
But definitely a load more of performance goodies.

It does not! Older models do, but not on the latest models!

USA spec BMW's are limited to 130-155 in most cases. European models and other foreign specs have a higher top speed.
the interior is a joke, the 2021 e63 and rs6 interiors make this look like a Volkswagen golf!
Yeah the new Mercedes and Audi are pretty crazy interiors. But honestly those cars are too complicated with so many screens and customization that nobody even uses. I prefer how simple the BMW is. And it has the best overall performance as an enthusiast car

I wouldn't agree with that, it's definitely way nicer! Mercedes has very nice interiors for sure, but BMW has designed there's for enthusiasts drivers who don't need all of those screen and tech and just want to drive!
