It was impossible to win the car at 6-0-10-0, 7-0-10-0 is the minimum. But it would still be extremely hard to win the car at that rank :(
Thank goodness I started the Championship with 16 CREs! I won it at 10-0-10-2 Rank 1679, at which it does quite decent in MP, and I believe it's the second best MP car around 1680 (behind the Apollo IE)!

I won mine at 8-0-10-0 and I like it. On about 15 (free) races in MP, I won the majority of the time and 2nd on others. Not my favorite car in the game but I look forward to Pro-ing it in the future.
The reason it’s so hard it’s because it’s Gameloft. They charge you heaps for an in-game car.

I'mma wager Asphalt 9 will have full of situations like this, purposefully make you edge towards a reward, hit a brick wall and force you to buy anything to proceed. It wants you to spend Tokens so you'll be worried of lacking enough Tokens for some future use, and in turn buy some IRL.
I know this because during A9 soft-launch, two events required you to win in a Camaro ZL1 for a Flag, and *NONE* of the events prior give Blueprints for the ZL1, only the Camaro LT.
I have a bad feeling about this.

I got to the 5th GF and i stopped cuz i gave up cuz i didnt get engines and I never had any tokens to get them
This event was kinda fun. I didn’t lose much money and didn’t have to farm much to be able to upgrade it and progress. Although I ended in the 7th area at a rank of 6-0-6-0 it was a fun-ish event and I actually gained a bit of profit from it. I’m glad I saw this video otherwise I would’ve actually tried to win this car. I guess I’ll stick with my Koenigsegg Agera until I get that last Fenyr Supersport blueprint...
if you play on mobile this event was swapped for the McLaren Mp4-31 and you can tell because the places you race at are the exact same and in the exact same order. I managed to win this car spending no tokens surprisingly but I had 3 tyres upgrades, 2 suspension upgrades, 7 drivetrain upgrades and 10 exhaust upgrades and was triple boosted all throughout Tokyo and Rio. I pretty much got the car by pure skill and also a fair amount of luck. I hope everyone else got this car because it sure was very difficult to obtain.

Luckily I had a spare MP4-31 box which gave me 4 Custom Racing Engines, I won it easily at 10-0-10-0 :D Good video as always Aris.

The other bad thing about this car is it’s skidding. Skidding and fake speed is the worst combination! People like me who hoped a lot to win this car couldn’t, because of it’s pro kits, and the fake speed + skidding combination. I spender thousands of tokens on this championship for a hope a a bad/ okay F1 car.
I usually find X2s going only slightly faster than my 16-- lykan

bruuhhh the car was so easy to get,I saved up LOTS of racing engines before the championship came out, I knew it would need those because it is a F1. I pro’d it out on the first day it came out, and got it at the fourth day of it

Same here tried MP races in Events and in MP Season, both of them are getting stuck in the initial Page. Now GL will give 8k Credits as a slapstick reward for not able to maintain its servers. Greedloft.
I had that problem as well so i deleted the game

I managed to get this car by using all tires received 2 times a day (+ the play ad for 2 tires) and with 2 CRE's to spare since before. I only had to purchase a few tires during Rio and Tokyo due to bad/unlucky driving.

Aris, when the R&D came out, I wanted to see the McClaren X2's stats and I thought that will be a good car so I did the R&D but when it's my first race, it slipped and wrecked me 10 TIMES!

Watch the McLaren Senna be the new king of Asphalt 8. They released the P1 GTR icon like 10 times now so I wouldn't be surprised to see a McLaren Senna destroying the X2
Since Gameloft And Them Being so greedy, I decided to delete A8 and start a pro Fortnite career, gonna be going back to Asphalt when 9 comes out

I spent 6000 Tokens on those little boxes and got 2 CREs. Then, I paid 30 real dollars for a special pack to win the car, because I was pissed.

I needed to spend over 1000 tokens on this car because of the proing and the hard races of this car I needed o buy boxes for 900 tokens and buy lots of tires and now I lost nearly all my tokens. And my brother he needed to spend over 1000 tokens by buying boxes for 900 tokens and getting more tires we both had a struggle doing this championship, I really agree on your opinion.
It’s been in Real Racing 3 for a while, nothing to write home about as you are only able to race against fellow X2s. I was bored with its looks, so I made a Union Jack livery for it, and now it is the most British car I own.
For all the people saying it is a carrot or some other fruit or vegetable its a papaya ok the mclaren f1 team said it themselves the livery is based on the current f1 2018 livery and this is not the current f1 2018 car

Totally agree, the French Guiana track saw me losing a lot of times, owing to the fact that it was prone to oversteering
The event will come back if you dont win the car. To find cards, i collect rewards all i can (without much tokens) and wait for the event next time to play again and get more necessary cards.
These "McLaren x2" is actually the A8 version of the "redbull x2010" in gran turismo
The only reason i was able to get through this championship is because i started with 19 cre's. After winning it i had hoped that it would be kind of like the I.E. and would skid less but at whatever rank I currently have it at its terrible. Halfway through a good race and it will just crash itself. So Im happy i won it and will be happy to fully upgrade it, but until i do its the most expensive useless car i have in my garage.
You know what GL did I stated playing on iPad and do you know what all Champaign boxes you get from Kawasaki bike mastery , la Ferrari ,etc is changed to 1 and only 1blueprint box. That means no matter what we will never see any token reward or champagne box on mastery for new cars.

PurpleFalcon Asphalt 8 Yeah, GL usually doesn't go as far as to downgrade the rewards for cars you already have, but Sangam's experience is after starting with a fresh account. And no Chaplin Champagne Company Campaign Boxes for the Champions. Blame it on India! ;)

I agree partially. The fact that PROing this car only gives it an advantage in a Multiplayer over almost all the cars is a welcome thing for MP tuned Apollo IE owners at ranks around 1600-1700. That Apollo r&d was also hard and i spent many tokens on that as well. Btw the Championship was a troll by Gameloft this time as i didn't receive the last reward for getting some 342 trophies by completing all the challenges. The Challenge no 2 (2nd time attack main goal) Tokyo was damn hard to succeed as even the tuning of 7-0-10-0 wasn't enough for me and i had to go to 8-0-10-0 by spending tokens on boxes. This car will stay useless until at ranks above 1750 or fully PROed.
6 0 10 0 was alright for me, I spent about 1000 tokens on tires, but I got enough trophies before the event concluded to get enough engines to have the tune 10 0 10 0
If you cannot pro the mclaren for multiplayer it’s not that big of a problem since two new cars like the Mazda rx8 se can be multiplayer tuned and the rezvani alpha will be good for multiplayer.
I got 2 CRE Engines from Random Box 😊😊. It was challenging and I'm so happy I won it with 7 - 0 - 10 - 0.

It was the hardest and the most expensive championship I made !!
And the championship for the Mp4-31 last year was VERY easier, and This car is maybe as good as the X2

I won this car at a rank of 8-1-10-0, couldn't get to 315 trophies which could have given me 4 more CREs as the Tokyo secondary challenges were really difficult for me at this rank. Overall it's a good car for me mainly because i don't have any good vehicles in class s. I spent over 2000 tokens on it's championship. Winning this championship was great as I lost the Apollo IE RND. So is it worth it? Well. Yes if you a beginner or an amateur and don't have good cars.

Im so glad i didnt upgraded the car during the challenge, i played as many challenges as i could with 0000 and kept all the tokens and crates(engines) for future use ^_^
If only this collection car did not come up at this time. I could have used those legendary engines for the McLaren MP4-25 when I had enough blueprints for it. At the moment, I have 24/30 blueprints.
What do you think ACG? I know both cars skid more often, but which one do you think is worth spending the resources for (like legendary engines and car parts)? The MP4-25, or the X2?

Tokyo was the only map that was hard, but even still I managed to complete 100% of the championship, all 342 trophies with a rank of 8, 0, 10, 0, it was kinda difficult, specially Tokyo, but I did it

Asphalt 8 Logic: You need a ****ing engine to upgrade the tires
It’s pretty great, it has fake speed, it’s spec of 318 mph pro-ed, Top speed, everything is great.
I mean it's only useless if you don't plan on going hard and getting it to pro. If you do manage to get it to pro, it has the best farming race in the game (except it's flawless sadly) and it's acceleration makes it the best car for any track (except tokyo if the ie driver is skilled cause of that stupid forced flat spin being near impossible in the x2)

Really? I was able to complete Tokyo with 7-1-10-2 (not sure why I upgraded the second one). And also, the more I upgraded the X2 the less it slipped (I rarely slip nowadays) The track the X2 slips on the most is Azure Coast.
Just so everyone knows or haven't noticed, Asphalt 8 is the ONLY GAME in the series that has cars skid like that.... that's non-existent in Asphalt 9 Legends

I had over 16 of those engines and I farmed the rest but I ended up at 10 0 10 2 for my multiplayer tuning.

Yeah it is disappointing Mastery rewards and manipulating championship. I've spent ALL my tokens on it and I've succeeded every single sub goal race up to Tokyo. Having enough engines to pass through but missing only 2 advanced tech and out of time I failed at test 4. 😞
Now I have to start collecting tokens and pro cards like I'm just started A8😕

you really waste your tokens on those boxes, i bought 2 boxes with 15 engines 2 of the cre and i got total 6 engines with less units,so i tune it to 7/0/10/0 before tokyo and i didnt spend any token for tires cause with this tune was not very hard. i did this cause i watch damon dr channel. and i see that those boxes was big waste, also i dont trust gamelofts youtubers. so in conclusion,i am not pro ,i am rookie, i watch damons dr videos and i always had one tune up from him,cause he is pro,in that way i only spend 1800 units(for offer boxes,zerp tokens for tires) to clear 10 times more easy from damn rimac R&D witch was really hard.

Well Aris, I have to say, I got as far as ICELAND and got on the last time attack and lost the grand finals, but, I was a little happy the chance to drive it... Its a cool car and all but sadly.proing it out is costly...I wasn't prepared for it..But it will come back and I will win it...:)
Aris , it's super amazing when proed out. All stats like accl , top speed , handling and nitro are off the charts. Also it does not skid dat much when proed.

I'm quit the championship on Rio maps, since I didnt have enough the pro engine. So I dont have this car. But I always face the X2 in MP, using my old SLK SE. Always win, because they usualy wreck once or twice in two laps race.

It is not worth as the MP4-31 too.
It has burnt a lot of players' tokens, and the 275 token box is completely the trash.
The MP4-31 is more worth it as it does give you 750 token in Mastery

P.S. 6:53 it costs less than 2 million to PRO, which is small for the new king of S class.

but by the time i got to tokyo i was at 6 0 10 0 and i had like 2 or 3 engines when i started the championship and got another box and got to 8 0 10 0 and tokyo was really easy , the championship gives more than enough to get the car you just have to play the secondary goals all the time i completed every secondary goal in the championship but the ones on tokyo......
I won the car at 10 0 7 0 because i had not drivetrains and i decided to try to get the car at this rank and i realized (this rank) has the same speed like 7 0 10 0
The next update probably will have the new king
this car was a massive waste of money, cost me over 4000 tokens. and this car has one of the worst handling.

I won it quite easily but not without rough spots. I beat these "Carrots" effortlessly if I did well with my 1666 Apollo.
