After the cyberpunk anime, people forgave cd projekt red just like that. And they had the audacity to say "see this game ain't so bad?" or "this game was always good". That shit had me flabbergasted. The game was never good to begin with, but it is what it is.

I haven't played Call of Duty in over 10 years. I'm trying to figure out how much longer they're gonna be making these, like... it's really just like FIFA at this point huh.
Unfortunately people buy them regardless so these franchises just stay stale. COD is basically similar to all sports franchises. Be it Madden, NBA 2K, FIFA, NHL, F1 etc take your pick. They'll innovate once in a blue moon to throw people a bone then go stale for bare years in between. Usually there's one big player and no solid competition so people just buy the game by default and these companies make insane cash year in year out coz even if older folks get tired of it new kids come into it every year. Similar to GTA Online in that sense as well 😂, Rockstar ain't never running outta new kids on the block to buy them shark cards.
