Some great shots there Robert. Glad to see you're enjoying your flying and the great scenery. Inevitably we went Whale watching when we visited Kaikoura. Great choice of music btw. My favourite band of all time. Saw them live in '94
Ah yes....Pink Floyd. They were a late discovery in life for me. For some reason I always associated them with Another Brick in the Wall. A song that I didn't really like. Then years later I heard one of their CD's and thought they had such a unique sound . Been a fan ever since. Glad you liked the video.
Hey Faigan. I use an ipad attached to my leg and run an app called AvPlan. That lets me know my current location but more importantly the airspace around me. I need to avoid Class C and D which kicks in at certain altitudes. That's where Air NZ fly. The app also lets me know when I need to change radio frequency to update other pilots of my location. You could fly without it as long as you know your radio frequencies. You'd just have to stay low. Unfortunately due to the lock down I haven't done any flying lately but are you still interested in going for a flight? I still have your number.
@@RobertBargent Hi Robert. Thanks for the reply. Yes certainly still interested when lockdown is over. Feel free to contact whenever you go out next :)
Excellent footage...I know this coast and Kaikoura very well from Diving ..Thank you for sharing and letting us see from an awesome perspective..
👍

красивый полёт
Great photography Robert, but you sure do have some “tiger”country to fly over! Smooth flying and all the best!
Красота😍👍👍👍
и ты здесь!
Great views. How long did it take one way?
Hey Jab Man, good hearing from you. It took about 90 minutes each way although I didn't fly the most direct route. I easily get sidetracked.
@@RobertBargent yeah I saw you doing a few loops. I'm still trying to find time to come. Will definitely do it when work settles down.
Hi, do you require nav equipment/ instruments to get you there or do you just fly visually?
