In your intro you are partially right. AP 1,2,wedding & reunion are the 4 main following that cast. Jim's dad is in all 9 films as the same character tying the franchise together. Some of the main characters have cameos or are referenced in the other 5 as well. Band Camp has Stiffler's little brother as the main character. Book of love is 1 of Stiffler's cousins finding the bible from this film then Naked Mile and Beta House are that Stiffler and his friends at college.

Dude i was 22 when this came out. We saw this in the theaters and the “pale ale” scene had the whole place going nuts! This movie is damn near perfect.
I remember turning 17 back in 2004, and being able to finally rent R-rated movies. I immediately rented American Pie that weekend and ended up going back to Blockbuster and renting the next two in the series. They are all so much freaking fun.

I had a friend in high school who looked identical to Willow from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer (same actress as the band camp girl). She sat down to have lunch with me, and we were talking. She recited the band camp line, and it caught me so off guard because this girl also played flute in symphonic band and thought she was being legit. She saw this movie in theaters on opening night, which was the night before so I had no context. I choked on my drink.

My favorite, even though many dislikes it, is the "American Pie Presents: Band Camp" (it was the first American Pie Presents movie after main three movies) because it still had the feel of old American Pie movie, but it had a bit of romance and growth. And the main character is Stiflers brother.

I was in middle school/high school when these movies came out. My dad was over 40 and is a super good guy who works hard and doesn’t curse and is super smart and has fantastic morals. I never thought he’d like this movie but he actually thought it was funny and liked watching it with my brother and I because he loved Eugene Levy in the dad role and I think he could relate to the movie because of Levy and because me and my brother and our friends were somewhat like that and around the same age as the guys here. This movie and the sequels were so popular really because of the relatability mixed in with the humor.
The first is definitely the best in this series. And Jim's dad is an awesome character. Yeah, he's awkward, but you can also tell than he genuinely loves his son and everything he says/does comes from a good place.

I think they’re trying to recapture the spirit of these movies (pre-2010 movies) but they keep missing the mark, just throwing a bunch of dick and ball jokes into the script isn’t gonna cut it, it needs to be organic and it’s impossible to recreate organic.

My buddy was about 16 years old in the mid 80s and was at home drinking with a friend when the guy went upstairs to get something. About 20 minutes went by so Danny went upstairs to see what he was doing,he walked in on his friend and his mom in bed. He lost it and smashed out almost all the windows in the house with his bare fists,the other guy took off and was never seen again. I went to the house the next day and there was blood and glass everywhere. Ahhh,the good old days 😎

I saw all 4 American Pie films in theaters when they came out. I saw the fist American Pie 1999 in theaters for my 10th birthday. Love all 4 films but if I had to rank them it would be American Pie 2 2001 then very close second American Pie 1999 then American Reunion 2012 & my least favorite would be American Wedding 2003.
