Yes, in the second time he goes to the 6th fret he plays the B string instead of E and I just noticed he also does in third with some slide down. In some verses this variation happens again, but it seems less purposeful and intentional, so I didn't play them. I assumed that the Unplugged tablature book would be at least correct about the notes played during the verses, just missing the G string.
Thanks so much for the terrific tab. For the first part of it I was convinced you had only 4 fingers on your left hand. Your pinky was hiding. Oh, maybe you're holding a pick with it?
Thanks! I was holding the pick with the ring finger and used the pinky to support the hand position. Quite tricky to swap it, I'm not sure how Curt pulled the coin in the end.
Great lesson/tab, thanks. I know you are playing the “unplugged “ version with Nirvana but it will be pointed out ad nauseam that this is a Meat Puppets song. It is has a tricky tempo switch to the B chord.
@@Osmium2024 I think that when he was just singing he had a better vocal performance. That said, Kurt sang and played more difficult songs at the same time.
I was playing this at my friends, but it was only one string i was playing, i didnt realize how much harder it actually was
Indeed, he put the bass on it 😅
Tricky not so much hard. 😅
it's not rocket science fingerstyle but it might as well be to me lol
Awesome guitar playing. I hope to become good enough to learn this song
Thanks! The secret is just patience, start slow and then increase the speed. It's quite a fun song to play, well worth the effort.
The secret is practice
Never seen this kind of plucking. Its so cool
Just frickin love that armonie on the last part
i startet to play yesterday. this looks impossible i cant even try 😂😂
The secret is to start low and build up speed after some time of practice.
In one year you'll laugh about this...
Why not its like 95% one chord, and a very easy chord
Hang in there it gets better 🙂
It took me 10 years of playing to play something like this. That isn’t the norm. Many could after just months. The secret is never give up
This is such a great learning video
@@Protohomo1 Thank you very much!
Pretty cool once y’all get the lil intricacies down I love to play that song!!!
Awesome man 👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
That's freaking cool men and talk about the tabs haha nc demonstration haha thanks man keep it up!
Holy fumbling fingers Batman! I need to practice 😂
Thanks man!
"Man that's perfect"

0:20 there he plays differently than before

Well done

Antes lo veía imposible, ahora creo que es más difícil cantarlo que tocarlo
I think it depends. The Meat Puppets version is easier to sing. Kurt had such a great voice and that day he was really inspired.
@@porradewww totalmente de acuerdo. Me refiero a que al escucharlo parece difícil de tocar, pero creo que no
good work
Thanks!
Could you please make a cover for Plateau Nirvana when kurt played it live on MTV?
I don't understand, this video is already from that version.
It's G major in diffrent position hmm interesting
This song is meat pupets
Niceeeeee
Muito bom!!!
Obrigado!

maybe it would be relevant to mention that your guitar is tuned a semitone lower
It is mentioned at 0:14, but I'll put in the description too.
Now I see why Kurt didn't play guitar on this on unplugged lol
It's not that hard to sing and play, but fingerpicking wasn't Kurt's style.
Good Класс!
Be cool if the notes lit up
Too complicated to make, the way it is, I already spend some hours to do.
@@porradewww ha, yes it's great , I was just being picky lol
Finger ease helps :D
Definetely!
what is half srep down dude dont put that 2 days i search...
Sorry, I thought this was common knowledge and that if anyone tried to play it in standard tuning they would realize it was out of tune.
It’s like not rlly complicated but it is at the same time it’s weird
Looks a bit like Travis picking
meat puppets
How the hell can Kurt sing whilst playing this
@@Osmium2024 I think that when he was just singing he had a better vocal performance. That said, Kurt sang and played more difficult songs at the same time.
@ I hate it when people say that Kurt isnt talented on guitar and is just a song writer because this is so heard to ply
hate to nitpick but its a meat puppets song
I think any Nirvana fan who listened Unplugged know this.
Its wrong.
Could you elaborate a little more about what you think it's wrong?
