Nice to see your pallets knife technique. I am a landscape painter for twenty five years using just paint brushes. You have inspired me to try pallets knife painting. Always enjoy your posts. Thanks 😊
Hello Richard, we have missed you for the past few weeks but what a wonderful gift you are giving us for Valentine's Day, to all of us who love you! Thanks a lot. Your painting is very beautiful and it's true that the few touches after your break bring more reality to the orange rock. Great reflections in the water as usual. And congratulations on your garden too!
Gidday mate, back with a bang I see. Gee those complimentary colours really pop against each other. Passion at play here, your enthusiasm and delight at painting this scene is inspirational to watch. I'm glad you had a break and went back to add the final touches. Dance of light in all it's glory. Magic my friend. Cheers, Rich
Dear Richard, now that you are back, I know what your crowd of fans and followers were missing over those past weeks. And what a delight you've brought along. It feels like a second and truly genuine start of the new year.
Hi Richard, the places you visit, have stunning colours, and so peaceful.. wow this was dramatic and bright orange so early on. that changed every thing.. the effect after the break was dramatic, shows what happens when you clear your mind . a very good idea. Great garden by the way. Enjoyed, thanks again. Bill.
Another instant classic painting lesson to learn from. Knife painting isn't easy as you make it look. Thanks for making these unique much needed informative videos kind sir.
Hi Richard. Had to wait a day to watch this ( bummer when life gets in the way) but so worth the wait! I love the contrast between the water and the rocks, and the glow-wow! Just want to keep looking at all the close up details! Thank you for sharing your art and your knowledge again and again, always so inspiring! And you made me long for fresh corn...., great garden!
Richard. I have watched so many of your videos and it never ceases to amaze me. You truly have found your gift. The only painting i do is with a paint roller and brush being a builder. I have made quite a few dampers yousing your recipe and ingridiants. Few people commented that it was the best damper they have had. Love your work. Cheers Rick.
Oh so nice, this was so enjoyable, and it has been a while between drinks but worth the wait. The result is impeccable. You and the Flinders Rangers, are like one each compliment the other and it shows.
Hi Richard, it's good to have you back. - A beautiful, great painting! You were right, the orange rocks and reflections in the water look much better after you went back to them to break up the colour a bit. All in all, a very well done job. I enjoyed seeing you "in your element" again, wielding the palette knife and putting it all together to build this beautiful landscape. I love it. - Thank you, Richard, and have a nice week.
Richard, It’s Valentine’s Day! And we love you very much! A beautiful lesson about a mountain radiating a bright color of love for life! It’s amazing! How from a small number of used colors comes such Magnificence! Bravo Master! I look also and adoringly at your farm: your chickens are made exclusively for painting - take care of them and yourself! We need you!
Wow, fantastic painting, 🖌️🎨,. I love your process from start to finish, to master work, keep safe master of the pallet knife 🔪, I was painting the other day and Your words came to me ," don't over work the painting",. I took your advice,. Thank you for the good advice, much appreciated,. My style is nothing like yours, but I am intrigued with your style,,☕😉👍
Great to see you back! I have been learning a lot from you. However, -17 this morning so I am not ready to go outside yet. Keep on bringing these great videos!
Richard, I’d like to add some more impressions to your work. You have a bright soul, so you choose from nature all the best)) Two mountains opposite each other, like Yin and Yang, and between them flows a river of life with lights of beautiful energy... May the Light of God be with you always!
Hey Richard, love your work. Australian bush colors, fantastic. One thing I wish you'd do though. Show us the photo/sketch you're working from so I see where you're going with the piece. Again love your work and thanks for the videos. Cheers Steve
I'm a very amateur painter just at home for my own pleasure. I tried a couple of your beautiful paintings recently. Love you're use of colours. Hope you don't mind.
Thanks Richard!… what a beautiful masterpiece I find it mesmerising to watch. You are so good at this style of landscapes. I remember camping at this spot from my childhood in the fifties!… If you start to host outdoor workshops please let us know?… we’re only 2000 kms away on the qld border…..so can get down there in two days ok.
I always love to see a new video from you. Each piece is so unique and beautiful. Quick question....do you ever get to a location and start a painting and decide it just isn't working so you scrap it and go with a different scene? Or do you just push on through and make it work? In each of your paintings you just seem so inspired and masterful so I was curious if you ever run into that issue.
Hey Richard! How are YOu Master?I wrote a poem as I watched your beautiful painting : "I will be the face of the soul: I will be the face of the soul on the wall of the rock or in the bend of a flash of shadow Amber color. Through my time, the emergency bird, no response at the dawn of storms. Shows my form lukewarm brood, hurrying pictures spin, oh, never mind. How much emotion, passion unrestrained, fades deafening intellect. Tears, laughter on the old bed, untouchable on the thread of the past. The curtain drops, fresh winds walk, film, what spun, end of Soul damage. I open the door, entering the balcony I grow wings, rise... My long silk dresses down in the wind, swimming in a dawn light in mica dust." "Eva Vass 🥰😍💖
