Une version mythique, mystique et habitée de ce grand classique du piano. On aimerait tant voir JR Kars sortir temporairement de sa retraite et jouer Messiaen à nouveau. A quand une Turangalila Symphonie, ou un Quatuor PLFDT.
Tempted to loop the opening movement, which soothes and consoles me from head to toe. Love & appreciate all things Messiaen - but Vingt Regards has become one with my metabolism.

I find this interpretation very intersting. Up until now I only knew this cycle wonderfully played by Yvonne Loriod. Thanks!

I agree. Loriod's is my favorite, but this one has some real grit and energy!
It's not available on RUclips, but Roger Muraro's version, purchasable on DVD, is incredibly beautiful too. Maybe even above Loriod's interpretation.
