That first customer who didn't leave may have just been bad with social cues and was waiting for a very clear "please leave now". Some people are just like that and prefer bluntness
The way he described it the customer seemed really nice and respectful, I don't understand why he's even in this video at all. I mean sure he didn't leave exactly when he was supposed to, but he didn't seem malicious about it, just legitimately didn't understand he needed to leave.
I agree. I'm very precise when I talk but sometimes there's simple minded people that just don't get it. They're not bad, they just have a lack of social understanding.
@@kalahatze Yeah, that was the first thing that came to mind when he said the customer left after the third time. I worked in food service actually, and honestly some customers just genuinely don’t understand what the word “closed” means.
On the flip side, there was once when I was in high school, went to a Popeye's that was right next to my SAT prep class, and ordered dirty rice with my meal. When it arrived I somehow knocked it on the floor shortly after opening it. I was mortified but they immediately replaced it for free. At least it's easier to clean up than soda!

As a former fast food worker, I found the worst encounters I had always revolved around missing breakfast or being too early for lunch. Most people understood that we had to change the kitchen over to properly prepare breakfast or lunch, i.e. placing a griddle over a couple fryers for breakfast, but opening them all up for lunch, etc. Others would have an absolute fit. Cuss out a teenager over the fact that they were 1/2 hour early for a Whopper, and the broiler hadn't even been lit.

Years ago I was homeless in Las Vegas. It was summer and very hot. I went into Subway and asked if I could fill my jug of water. The girl at the counter said if I wanted soda I could put soda in there ( truth I wanted water) she then asked if I was hungry. She gave me a beautiful sandwich. It was big enough I could share with my friend. She then saw my friend outside and made him one. I cried that day. It was so nice of her
I worked at subway and hated it because of the customers and management but watching your videos make me miss making sandwiches 🤣 Also I never wanted to eat another subway sandwich but your videos make me crave them badly
I get that there are bad customers, but as a customer I've experienced more bad Subway employees than not. Many employees get into robot mode and just start throwing the veggies on the sandwich before you ask. I generally avoid eating there nowadays anyway cuz their bread is literally a chemical factory, lol.
I *love* when customers spill their drinks. It always seems to be right in the middle of the freaking lunch rush. "Um...my husband just spilled his drink on the floor. He's kind of a klutz. Sorry about that." And I can't get mad because it's like a little old 80 year old man and they're a super sweet old couple, but I just want to scream because we're super busy and this is the last thing that I need right now.
The guy that did not leave probably thought it was OK because you told him you would be closing up while he ate. So when actually told him to leave he honored his word and left.

I love your example of the lady with the burnt sandwich because it makes me think of all the taco Tuesdays I worked at del taco where people would order hard tacos and then get up to the window and say oh no I wanted them soft but expect us to let them keep the hard tacos and I wouldn't. Even if they had them in their car already I would tell you them you paid for 6 tacos your getting 6 tacos. Im always annoyed by all the customers that say "is that fresh" or " I want fresh stuff" as their in the middle of a busy restaurant where the workers are already overloaded.
Well, this makes me feel better about what I always assumed was being an annoyance. At the college I go to, you can buy these really large burritos, and they put it together according to what you want in it. Nothing special, right? Well, I always pretty much ask for some of everything (except avocado) in it, which results in a pretty large pile of fillings when you don't plan out how much of each thing to put in. And these are college student employees, who usually haven't had the job for too long. I've seen spills, broken tortillas from the person being too aggressive in trying to roll everything, and one person who just gave up completely, grabbed the edges, and gave it to me in the shape of a Naco from "Kim Possible". Part of me feels bad and wants to just place a simpler order, but I really like having the full works in the burrito.
I can beat those. Group of 5 "customers" came in, one of them bought one item and then they dragged several tables and chairs together so they have extra table spaces and can put their feet up (dirty shoes on) on extra chairs and for their bags, so 6 tables and 12 chairs. Ate a meal of stuff they bought from supermarket down the mall, cooked chicken, soda, bread, canned stuff and spreads, candy and bags of crisps. like a picnic. then leave all rubbish and wrappers and leftovers everywhere on chair, tables and floors. not even bothered with the bins not 2 steps away. not common but mothers does this from time to time in our playground area while they sit and watch their kids play, despite clear signs saying no food or drinks allowed in there. "oh I didn't bring any of your store's food and drinks in here", sometimes they don't even buy anything from the store, they just think it's a public playground.

I once worked in a restaurant type area in a casino. We closed at 5:30am and didn't open up again until 8:00am. Myself and two other people were working the closing shift and this huge family comes in at like 5:00am. I'm talking like... eight people. It was a small area. We let them know we would be closing in half an hour but could still get them whatever they wanted. 5:30 rolls around and they're still sitting. Talking. Not wanting to leave. I cashed out my drawer, my other coworker was shutting down the kitchen and the supervisor kept her drawer open. We told them we were now closed and got no acknowledgement from them. Like, this is a food place inside a casino. The cage (where all the money comes and goes) is VERY STRICT on when we bring our money from out registers in. They have to be. It's a casino. 6:00am we tell them they have to leave. If they had resisted we would have had to involve security but they finally left at that point. We're supposed to be clocking out now but we have to stay behind while my supervisor counts her drawer down and pick up the mess they left. Ugh. People drive me nuts.
Ive been watching and enjoying all your videos for the past few months. I think it's funny people call you all sorts of names,, nicknames,, so i just wanted to call you Milad the man "This sandwich wasn't burnt at all, was it." lmao no it sure wasn't
The burnt sandwich. I had a situation like this, but as a barista where they said to us “this coffee tastes burnt and bitter” so we could gladly remake one for her, but as we wanted her “burnt” coffee back, she said “I’d actually like to keep it, but could you remake one for us?”. I was really glad when our manager was actually right behind me and just instantly said No. This woman even had the audacity to say why not? When she’s clearly trying to get another coffee for her partner considering they only ordered 1 drink yet obviously 2 meals. Like just pay for both and stop wasting everybody’s time.
I love subway so much. It’s literally my favorite, we rarely have it though but just last night we decided to have it for supper and man was I happy. I went with my brother and we ended up getting 2 free cookies :) people are so nice there
the worst things we had to clean up in our store was a spillage of water that happened after a customer let the tap running in the bathroom and it was on the 2nd floor and we were on the 1st and only realized it several hours later when 2 rooms were completely under water already. cleaning that up took ages. but the worst of all time was the pile of sh*t a customer planted RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TOILET. I also had one of those "you burnt my sandwich" customers and god, are they annoying. a colleague of mine had one who wanted her to put a LOT of salt on the sandwich and demanded more and more. Two minutes after he paid he came back and complained his sandwich was too salty. wtf. my most horrible customer was a woman who demanded that I give her my boss's telephone number so she could complain about me because I was charging her for extra cheese, because she had extra cheese on her sub. and i did tell her that it cost extra two times at the beginning but shw decided to ignore that because other stores apparently didn't charge her before. and a woman who came in during rush hour when we were 5 ppl in service because customers were lining up until outside. she told me she didnt want her subs cut in the middle but what she actually meant was that the knife was dirty and would contaminate her sub because when I pressed the vegetables together with it she exploded, screamed at me if I was deaf or stupid for not listening to her (again, she said something completely different in my opinion) and that thanks to me her child was freezing alone in her car where she had left it. ehm... ma'am, it wasn't me who left your kid in the stupid car, that was you!
I lose my cool pretty easily working at Subway (I also work at one right on the highway so its almost always busy non stop) but just these last few weeks alone we've had to people just walk out during a rush and leave, quitting etc. Out lead closer walked out before I came in today and the rush didn't stop till almost 8pm, there was almost no prep for certain things we needed and we had no time to do any of it till it was pretty much time to close anyway. To say its been stressful at work (especially going back to work after two surgeries) is an understatement. We have a mandatory meeting next week so i'm hoping things aren't too bad, I kinda need this job lol, at least until I can find a better one.
LOL this is some whit suburban problems. like that first guy didn't get the message cause you weren't assertive enough. he didnt refuse to leave and if thats the worst customer stories you have you got it pretty great
yo, fellow subway worker here, been working for a bit over 5 months, having people sit down to eat 3 minutes before closing has become a pet peeve of mine, that and when I ask them to repeat what they wanted (because the toaster is loud and we have plastic dividers due to the virus) and they speak quieter
Oml the burnt sandwich one reminds me of my brother. If the grilled cheese has any hint of crunch in it, it‘s too burnt for him and it goes directly in the trash. What a waste of a perfectly crunchy grilled cheese sandwich.
It's funny because while I don't work at a fast food place, these are still two of the worst things a customer can do. I work at a concert venue and it sucks when a customer is refusing to leave. It also sucks when they make a mess and don't let anyone know. Sigh. Lol
When I go shopping with my parents and they don't put back things that they decided to not buy, when it's not that far away mind you. This irked me since I worked in retail for so long and I could tell they never worked in retail a day of their lives.
I have had this customer send in an online order for a buffalo chicken sub (that I personally made) then sent her son to pick it up. Later she called saying it didn’t have any buffalo sauce. I told her that we are getting ready to close and that I will tell tomorrow’s shift to make a new one free of charge. I told them both to make sure it had buffalo. She called again the next day and did the same thing but we were out of buffalo sauce because of the amount she has already gotten. So she ordered a pizza sub and asked for it toasted but it was too crispy. Finally I had to tell her in the most polite way possible that we cannot keep giving her free subs and that if she has a problem with us that there is another subway a little down the street and I’m sure they would be happy to have such a consistent customer.
That first customer who didn't leave may have just been bad with social cues and was waiting for a very clear "please leave now". Some people are just like that and prefer bluntness

That customer was just like I’ve got 5 minutes but good work Mario
Thank you SO MUCH for subtitles!
Best Quote Ever "It was a night like every single other night"
-Milad Mirg 2022
“Can I have the burned sammich?”
“Nah. We don’t want to give our customers defective products.”
Brilliant. 😂😂😂
I love how we just call him random names that starts with the letter “M”
Milkman, what is the funniest thing a customer has done?
I went with my brother and we ended up getting 2 free cookies :) people are so nice there
Hey Milard,
Have you ever had a karen in your shop
the worst things we had to clean up in our store was a spillage of water that happened after a customer let the tap running in the bathroom and it was on the 2nd floor and we were on the 1st and only realized it several hours later when 2 rooms were completely under water already. cleaning that up took ages. but the worst of all time was the pile of sh*t a customer planted RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TOILET.
I love how they said "Mustard" LOL
I just like when he makes the food
I love all of your videos so much sooo good
I love your videos Mario I’ve been a fan for only 1 week they’re cool 😊
Karens are the worst. And the worst part is that they're EVERYWHERE.
LOL this is some whit suburban problems. like that first guy didn't get the message cause you weren't assertive enough. he didnt refuse to leave and if thats the worst customer stories you have you got it pretty great
People suck. Always be nice to the great folks that make , serve , and sell your food !
yo, fellow subway worker here, been working for a bit over 5 months, having people sit down to eat 3 minutes before closing has become a pet peeve of mine, that and when I ask them to repeat what they wanted (because the toaster is loud and we have plastic dividers due to the virus) and they speak quieter
Damn Mississippi ur food looks DELICIOUSSSSS
Oml the burnt sandwich one reminds me of my brother. If the grilled cheese has any hint of crunch in it, it‘s too burnt for him and it goes directly in the trash. What a waste of a perfectly crunchy grilled cheese sandwich.
I work at Jersey Mike’s and it’s the exact same shit… some customers are so frustrating
Mondidion, had any drunk person ever came to ur store
Mushroom, who was the best customer you ever met?
The one I always hated when I worked at SubHell was flat bread double meatballs. Like that's just a mess. There ain't no way of making it pretty. 😆
Your in my favorite youtuber list your nice
McMuffin what the worst looking sandwhich someone ever ordered
Millads: Have you ever agured with an costumer?
You are sooo entertaining, I am subscribed.:)
Mommy what's the most threatening moment you've ever had in subway
I love your content
Why do regular Subway ads make me feel nothing, but my guy here telling a story while he goes through the motions has me quaking for a ham and cheese?
That burnt sandwich lady wasn't entitled - she was maliciously trying to pull a fast one on you.
Big difference.
as a business owner, remember if your a customer: The customer is always wrong. well almost always
My lard have you ever had a coworker supporting a rude customer
Mario has a customer ever passed out while eating
provolone cheese has such a distinct taste that i recognized it in a mystery sandwich after never having provolone cheese
Hey, Mabblunsky
have there ever been an instanse when a customer saw you make your lunch, and got angry?
Love your vids My Guy!
Oh no, a customer came in during business hours. What a tragedy.
Bruh that first customer was waiting to see if you were gonna pull the register cash so they could rob you.
imo the worst thing a customer can do is leave an IED outside the door to your restaurant.
Micheal what’s the stupidest thing a customer has said
And also love the content ❤️❤️
Milguppy, Whats the worst family you've ever had to deal with?
Bro ngl i m starting to think milad is capping cuz he always has an answer for every question
He called you mustard lol🤣
Morty what’s the most scariest customer you have ever had??
