I've been told to keep butane cans bottom up. This makes the gas lower than the propellant.

Great video! To clean the Aperture I put a quick blast of butane in it. Then I light it to get the access out

Most lighters come with directions to close the Valve +/-. Does this really matter?

3:14 noob question: When you have butane in the lighter and bleed it upright position, thats to get the old butane out from the lighter? What if you only bleed it upside down position? is that fine as well?

Typically if you don’t you will have some left over. I turn upside down and when hiss is gone I turn it upright and the rest mainly liquid butane will exit. Always do it until you learn your specific lighter. The goal is also to get rid of air pockets in the valves. Not just pressure and fit more butane

when i try to fill mine the butane just goes flying everywhere....And it came empty
