I just started in December, but thanks to you and some of the others you were hanging out with I’ve caught up quick - I knew I had to grind the heck out of this CD. I clocked 12Km, 550+ catches (no auto catcher), 20 shinies, one shundo, one Hundo, and a HECK of a time! It was pouring rain out but I managed the old balance the umbrella and dual hand fast catch trick… I’m sure I didn’t look awkward at all 😂😂
Man, that was a great comm day event for me. I got a hundo, 17 shiny larvitars, including 2 3-star larvitars, and enough candy XL to take my level-30 hundo all the way to 50 🎉

It was great indeed. I managed to get 2 hundos and 45 shinies even though I had to grind a lot lol
This was the first time I get to go grind for the 3 hour period. I got no hundo, but I was able to get 40 shiny and also a shiny 96% that was over 3400 cp after evolving. Really fun event and also very hyped for upcoming noibat comday.
I managed to get my first Shundo from the comm day event yesterday so this comm day definitely was more worth it than I thought it would be

This was my first community day event, and I only realised it had started when it was halfway through. Regardless, I completed all the research and managed to catch 5 shiny Larvitars as well as a shiny Magikarp. Overall, I'd say that was a big success.

managed to get 1 hundo larvitar and a 15/15/14 shiny larvitar so it was pretty great, got a lot of star dust as well.
I got like 80k stardust. Powered up some legendarys now im at 20k

I've been playing on and off since launch and only have 3 shundos, one of which was a shundo lavitar from this event yesterday. Funny enough I got it in the first 30 minutes. Ended the day with nearly 30 shiny lavitars. Pretty good day I'd say.

We literally had partly cloudy weather all day, but in game it was rainy then cloudy. Missed out on the weather boost. 🤬 But still walked away with about 30 shiny and a couple regular XXS and XXL ones. They look hilarious evolved!
A thing to note is Tyranitar base form isn't as great as it's hyped up to be. It's a good budget option as both a dark and rock attacker in PVE but it's outclassed in both types by other Pokemon, including non shadows like Rampardos in rock typing and Brutal Swing Hydreigon in dark typing. The mega will be a beast and will be a lot tankier than other megas of its type

I got 19 shinies on this event was super hype the most I ever got from an event like this, especially from just hopping back on for 4 months playing again since 2016.
got 3 shinys and a shundo, i got so overwhelmed with the shundo that i stopped playing for the rest of the event lol
I had a wedding to go to during the same hours as the Larvitar event! 😅 now I’m stuck on this special research for the rest of my life! Lol
Idea for the next bad community day: you can only catch shiny Pokémon in AR+ mode. They will most likely all run, but would be good content.
I didn't realize that that I had gotten a hundo til I checked this morning! That makes me not feel so bad about only getting one shiny Larvitar. 😂I did catch a shiny Bunnelby yesterday though. 😂

I got 4 shinies from Larvitar day and I only evolved my shiny 3 star Larvitar and it's like almost level 50

6 shinies, 1 hundo, and 3 newly evolved Tyranitars that got to 3000+ CP! And one Shadow Tyranitar that I newly evolved as well that day.
I just got back into Pokemon go in early December, this is the first one I've gone HARD on. I ended up with over 1000 candy, 200 xl, and 15 shinies. Traded my wife a shiny and got a 94% lucky so got that and another 92 lucky to level 40. Sadly no hundos, but still a great day. Didn't even have a single Larvitar before yesterday and now my top two CP pokes are Tyranitar.

I was weather boosted the full three hours. Great event. My best was a 98 shiny lucky maxed out to level 50 and I got a bunch of free level 35 3 stars too
I got nothing from com day but I did get hundo Galarian darumaka from special research
My luck was nuts! 35 shiny larvitar, 1 hundo, and 1 shiny darumaka. Lucky trades were solid too!
I’m a believer, got a 98 as my final. Didn’t get to play a whole lot, so those are amazing odds since I had fewer chances to catch Larvis.
I completely hated the XXS/XXL update until I *also* caught a Tiny Shiny Larvitar 😂
I saw Larvitar coming and dropped everything to play the whole three hours. Even without the $1 research (Google Play didn't wanna connect??) I wound up with 32 shinies total, a couple normal colored 95s, and a shiny 84, so I can't complain~

Shiny Larvitar just became common. Almost everyone I know has atleast 3 of 'em. Loved the event, but maybe its too much?
For a dollar, the tickets are always great imo. You get your incense back with the missions 😊
Weather boost on community day is a god send, I didn't get weather boost this time, rainy and cloudy.

I was very happy with my community day. I got quite a few shinys, a 98% 15 attack IV Larvitar, and and 3* Shiny Lucky Tyranitar. I also got enough candies to max out at least one tyranitar.

5 shiny larvitar and a shiny bunnelby here in western Washington where there are literally no gyms or stops within 10 miles. Never seen so many pokes and esp. shiny ones here- it was great!
I got 6 shinys from this event and I got one at 4:59 pm like I barely clicked it before it despawned

It was a great day, I ended up wrapping up the final minutes by catching a 14CP Shundo. Cost me 500k stardust to Max it
I usually don't even have anyone to trade with, so just trade with alts. Totally forgot to this time, as I was busy and actually ended up getting sick🥺 But I definitely feel your pain on forgetting to trade! I hope you remembered to evolve. And don't worry TOO much as we have a full year to trade before the last chance to evolve for the Comm Day move. 😉💖

I caught 24 shinies, a hundo, 2 96 IV shinies, and multiple luckies…it was a great day
idk if i just had bad luck or what, but i got waaaay less shinies than i usually do on a comm day

During the com day I got 2 shiny Larvitar and one shiny gyarados that ended up being my strongest one by a few hundred cp. wish I got a few more shinies but I can’t complain

During comm day, I got 4 shiny Larvitar on my mini account and 0 on my main even thought I caught 2 times more larvitar on my main than on my mini
15 shiny 1 HUNDO and one HUnDO buneeary same day btw. Could not be happier
i caught 145 larvitars and 31 of them where shinys and 46 were left after transferring all the ones under IV90 and unfortunately i did not catch a single hundo

Great video as always! Learned so much about Pokemon Go from you. This was the first community day that I fully participated in. I actually got 19 shiny and one of which was a shundo. I got another like 96 or 97 and evolved it all the way to shiny Tyranitar.
Great day for me! Larvitar is my fav pokemon ever! So i grinded hard!!! 1 hundo, 40 shinys, about 400 xls (my steelix wasn't max mega) but i didnt do any trades.
Also, my first ever shiny was a larvitar from an egg (on day 1 if my account!!!) so i can finaly level 50 it.
