I really like that this artist is not afraid to use black in his drawing. It really is impressive and seems very organic to use it to turn up the volume on the contrast. Great lesson! Wonderful teacher!
Thank you so much for this. You're video was recommended for me even though I'd been trying in vain to find a REAL TUTORIAL on how to draw trees. Every video has been 3/5 minute infotainment, no real teaching of any techniques at all just sped up drawing of a tree. I will say the music you have playing sort of drowns out your voice and you actually have a pleasant voice! Thank you once again for this, I'm subbing you. You're a great teacher!
I'd like to be able to see some of the stuff people attempt to draw because every now and then they tell me they tried to draw the same subject. Maybe upload an image and post a link if youtube allows it.
i like everything you do you the best i even try some of your drawings and charcoal drawings too i only wish i was half as good as you but i will keep trying too better myself with your work
this is the best tutorial on trees i’ve seen. i’m doing a project in art and i’m trying to improve how realistic it is. this video definitely helped me and i’ll be using this technique forever. thank you.
Your channel is just what the doctor ordered. Being presently ever so busy I don't have time for acrylic and/or oil painting. The time to clean the brushes alone drove me crazy. Dry medium can be picked up and put down as needed. Your explanations are absolutely tops.
Thank you for sharing your skills with us.its such a nice tutorial, going slowly unlike other tutorials which are going at a very fast speed and have no narration.you have taught all of us how to draw a tree with details.
Wow. That was really informative. Drawing trees is something I have always struggled with but watching and listening to your technique has really given me the impetus to keep trying. Thank you so much for uploading this.
Great tutorial. I had a mini stroke a week ago and the only thing i can move is my arms and legs so i decided to do some art therapy on myself to cope. I was trying to do autumn trees on a lake.
So beautiful art work. It's just amazing & the way of your explaining art is so good that each & every point is clear .Love you work.Em from Pakistan .Thumbs up for you.
It was a very useful post, the colors are very natural, the color transitions are great. I'm also making fruit drawings these days. Drawing with colored pencils is very enjoyable. The trees turned out magnificent, thank you for your efforts🌲🌳🌿
You probably don’t read comments on a video this old, but if you do, I have a challenge for you: draw a Ponderosa Pine tree. I live in the Pacific Northwest of the US, and we have tons of those trees. I have never seen another artist attempt to draw one, and I’m curious to see how you would do it! 😋
This is wonderful. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have always shied away from landscapes and backgrounds and focused on animal portraits. I would like to branch out, and I appreciate your teaching methods. Thank you.
Wonderful! I've been searching for an artist like yourself who uses colored pencils to create realistic objects like your trees. The coloring book pictures help me to work on my shading techniques, but I prefer your style ! I want to use my pencils to draw, shape , and detail trees, an old house, a weathered fence, etc. Thank you for your tutorials! I have one minor request, and that is to omit the music. I have trouble hearing you and concentrating on your work while it is playing. Thank you, again, for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial, I was fascinated. You have a lovely voice, soft, relaxing but I found the music, as much as I love music, put a wee bit of a strain on concentrating on what you were saying when the music became a bit more intense. Your teaching method and intruction is terrific and I learned such a lot.
Thank you, thank you for sharing your wonderful skills! I just completed a tree that really looks like a pretty good tree! I am definitely subscribing to your channel!
Its important too i guess to use a good brand of collar pancels ? I have pretty cheap ones now but the fading is not working and i have too press to hard to get collar on the paper...its not easy to create a tree like this.
Please; make it where we can see more clear it's kind of to far away or something I just can't see it as good as I need maybe have the camera moved a little closer idk thank you great work
Hello!! I have noticed, that you are using a tool that it is holding a tiny color pencil? if i´m allright, could you tell me how is it call? Thank you and by the way your tutorial is amazing! :)
What kind of colored pencil are you using? I think you said Staedtler correct? If the answer is yes to Staedtler is it any specific kind of Staedtler Colored pencil?
My hand is getting tired and I'm still on filling in the light green. Carpal Tunnel from to many other artistic endeavors. I'll keep trying. Your work is so realistic.
