Love that you have correct subtiles ! It’s very much appreciated, especially for hard of hearing/deaf people and non native speakers, Also have you considered working with Mossy earth/ planet wild? Cheers
Hope you don’t mind this recommendation - please consider contacting Mossy Earth and/or Planet Wild for a collaboration. Both run on a similar model as yours: membership/ rewilding mission badges, etc. Since they have already accumulated a substantial support base and viewership, promoting yourself via their platform will definitely incitw an instant boost! I understand that this might spark some concerns over (1) competition for funding/publicity and (2) Sylvester Rewilding being ‘overshadowed’ by them. However, I’d say that they won’t be a problem because many in the communities are proud supporters for BOTH of them, and both organisations never override their local NGO partners. I hope this helps! Sending love from Hong Kong :))
Thanks for your recommendation! We will definitely consider it. Both organisations have inspired us to some degree in the concept and it would be interesting to see if they are interested in collaborating.
@sylvester_rewilding Mossy Earth is also doing a rewilding project on a eucalyptus plantation in Portugal. I had to check if you were already a partner on that project. Surprisingly you were not, since you have both posted similar videos recently.
I love the financing model. Can I get a link to some in depth documentation? I'm curious how much control the owners have over the decisions, is it possible to buy the whole land and build an office there? I'm using a hyperbole to explain the potential problem of course, but the real question is: how much control over the land the token owners have and how much does the NGO have?
Indeed, an important question! In short, you cannot buy the whole land and build an office there 😅. First, there will always be some WildTokens held by the Sylvester Association to represent the entity that legally holds the land. Decisions made by the WildToken community can be vetoed by the Association if they go against the purpose stated in the statutes, which an office definitely would. If you’re interested in checking this in more detail, you might want to take a look at our whitepaper. sylvester-rewilding.xyz/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Sylvester-Whitepaper-2024.pdf
A high quality video from such a young organisation! I appreciate the emphasis on diversifying local economy, which empowers the community through land stewardship! I agree that the thumbnail could be changed for the better haha, but otherwise, good job and best of luck!

You need a better thumbnail. I almost didn't click this video cause of the thumbnail alone.
Thanks for the feedback! Created a new thumbnail :)
