For fun I bought these lights to put on the ceiling of each floor of my granddaughter's dollhouse. It is about 4 ft. high and has three floors. She was so excited to be able to use the lights in play like she does in her home.
I did this to my girls doll house, and I need to replace them cause the connecting peice broke. Any ideas on how to remove without tearing up her doll house?
So, I work in a school, and back in the before times the kids did a "living museum" where they had to be historical figures, and parents would come to each station to see their presentations. I bought a bunch of these push lights, took them all the way apart, and printed out little "play" buttons to put behind the clear plastic. The kids would be frozen in place like a statue and the parent would come up and push "play" and the kid would "come to life" and start their presentation. It was super cute! However, having to buy like 80 of these lights for the whole class, about 1/3 just wouldn't work straight out of the package, so we had to buy a bunch extra.
My kids use to do this!! It was called Living Statues and the librarian was the one who ran the show. Idk where you teach but we are in Mesquite, Texas. My daughter's are now 20 and 21 and did this kindergarten through like 5th grade.
We’ve used these extensively onstage to create little magical moments of light in a show, shining out of a cauldron or a suitcase, or held in a hand, we love them.
I love these ideas! Those lights are so versatile. Before I had a circle light for videos I took a DT foam wreath form, stuck a few on it, glued it to a DT paper towel holder and voila! I had a circle light and I could adjust the lighting by how many I turned on at a time. It works great!
Me too. I was so excited and inspired after watching a previous video of yours that I ran (literally drove right away) to my local dollar tree & nothing. Went to two more dolllar trees and they were out is well. I live in DFW area of Texas. Where can I get these handy little lights? They would have been super handy during our rolling blackouts.
@@dewhitaker1 go to DollarTree.com and search for "push lights". You have to buy in bulk if you order on the website, but having extras on hand is nice.
organized under kitchen, !/2 bath, and Master sinks. Told hubby my biggest issue was seeing because it was so dark. I put at least 2 in each cabinet and boy what a difference it made. Now that I have watched your video, I am going to keep on going to light dim areas.
You can add a clothes pin to the back of the light and add it to your child’s homemade fort (indoors or out). Throw in pillows and stuffed animals and it’s bright enough for a perfect reading nook to encourage reading, or add a lap desk for homework or other super secret projects.
Yes! I've wanted to use it in our bathroom. If I turn on the power the light and the vent turns on together. Sometimes I want only the light at night. This is a great idea!
😱😍😃 Oh my gosh!!! Who else LOVED the diy vanity mirror?!?!? Wowzers! This was a great video and awesome ways to use the lights! God bless you all 😘 xoxo Fernelle
@@peggyk.738 True, but if you don't have an electric outlet near where you want the mirror, it's a great alternative, even if you should splurge a bit and get rechargeable batteries. 😅
Ooh I bought these several years ago specifically for under the counter where my Keurig is. Love the kickstand feature. The ones I bought didn’t have that. And yes they are still going strong.
I love these little lights but I never thought of putting them in the lil crates ! That is a total game changer! I have a hallway that has no lights and no plug ins for lamps... so this is a fantastic option! Thank you.
I keep one of these lights in my car with my dog leash. Then I always have light for dog walking, poop pick up at night, etc. Plus, it's helpful seeing in the back seat. I also put a carabiner on the car light, as well as the light for going to my basement. I use the clip through my belt loop, or a hair tie on my wrist, basically making it hands free m

Super timely! My good friend has taken up sewing in a big way, including tailored suits. She does a ton of hand sewing and her house has poor lighting. I'm going to give her a basket of these and a link to your video. Merry Christmas!!!
When my son was little (a very long time ago) he liked to play under my big desk and I used those to light up the space and with a nice rug and toys he felt like he had a really neat fort to play in.
I love these lights!!! I used them in the storage area underneath our RV and in the RV pantry where there were no lights at all! Now we can retrieve what we need without using a flashlight! ❤️
These are also great for lighting inside a large safe. I have a couple in our hallway as path lighting for my 88 yr old mother for those late night bathroom trips.

I have used one of these lights in a hall closet with no light fixture for over a year with the same batteries. As long as you don't keep the lights on continually and use quality batteries(not from Dollar Tree) , you won't need to change them often

Really good for the inside of dark cabinets too! And just for the record..... I hate camping too! As women, we end up still having to do all the work we do at home only it is 10 times harder to do!

Thank you for all the good ideas for the push light. I have shopped at Dollar Tree many times and just looked at the light and walk right by. But today I went and bought 2 push lights and plan to buy a couple more next time I go to Dollar Tree. I used the lights in my hall closet and I especially like the idea that you had with the painted little wooden crate and use it with a push light in it mounted on the wall. What great ideas you have. I really enjoy your videos. Keep all those ideas coming. Thank you.
Took me forever to find a dollar tree that wasn't sold out of these lights. Finally found them and I love them. My house is old and not wired correctly. Honestly not one door in my house has a light switch near it, which means, you walk into a dark room a few feet before you reach a light switch. Now I have these lights near each doorway. I have 4 dogs and these lights keep me from tripping over a sleeping dog. And the other day our power went out and just having one of these lights on lit up my entire living room. I've put the inside dark cupboard's and under them and inside my pantry and closets and under sinks... I really love these lights.
The lamp hack and the wooden crate was exactly what I was looking to do, but I didn’t know if it would make sense, but now seeing it in person helps a lot. Thank you ❤️
This video came in just the perfect time. I just had a bunch of Ikea bookshelves put in one of my extra bedrooms(it's going to be loaded down with Harry Potter stuff!) and I wanted the individual sections to be lit up. A pack of 4 of these types of things at Home Depot are over $11, so this is perfect! And man, you buy one of those expensive vanity makeup mirrors, they can be like $200!!!!! Great video!
I vend at outdoor events, which have us camping behind our booth for a week. We use these lights in both tents. By the sleeping bags, by the doors and in the camp kitchens. You're right, they're priceless.
The sconces are cute! We mounted 1 pop light in each room in case the power goes out, and also did the under the cupboards for extra lighting. P.s.Loved the zoom idea!!!

My son did this in 8th grade I think. 7th or 8th, Perty sure 8th. Only, it was putting coins in bucket.
He chose to be Henry Ford.
What a great idea !!!
The lamp hack, so simple, yet so genius.
