The first and third are my favorites the third tied everything up really good
Nice look today, Magy." I hate manure." Best way to end a chase. I really didn't like 2 as much as the others, but we needed it to build for 3. Clint Eastwood movie was on screen when Biff and his hoochies were in the hot tub. There is some beautiful scenery in 3, and we do get some closure. Other than Marty, not making his fortune gambling. Glad you had a good time.
In case you didn't see it, all the manure trucks have the same company name. (A. Jones) BTTF 3 has the same name, but the cart is smaller because the manure business is just getting started.

I love how they were able to recycle certain scenes in different context. Thomas F Wilson really underrated in this trilogy as the scummy villain in several forms
What's peculiar is that the "recycled" scene of George McFly dancing awkwardly before going out to confront Biff, is actually a different take than the take used in the first movie. Not sure why they decided on using a different take, or if it was just coincidence/mistake
Yeah I agree about Thomas F Wilson. I don't know why he didn't have more impactful roles in other movies. He has a yt channel and he's pretty entertaining. When he does Back To The Future panels he does a song about it all that's hilarious. If you haven't seen it, see if you can find it.

Yea, but Thomas gives his best perfomance as Mad Dog in the third one. The sheer enjoyment it is to watch him in that timeline, he just goes all in
I love the Back to the Future series. 38 years later, after the first part, this trilogy looks in one breath.
You watched the trailer for part 3! Most reactors turn it off to avoid spoilers, but it's a great trailer that makes you look forward to the last one. Plus, it was part of the whole experience of watching it on the big screen.
Eh, I would have preferred not to see the trailer at the end of the movie. Having the trip to the Old West be a mystery for the year until episode three would have been fun.

Hey, Magy. I enjoyed this movie pretty much. It was really entertaining. Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd were a great duo as Marty and Doc. Although, it does lacks the genuine power of the original movie, but it had its slapstick humor and the hoverboard in its chase sequence. Anyway, it was a really high-energy escapism, and solidly entertaining. Yet it's not as very good as the original, but it is still a better sequel. Thumbs up for me on "Back to the Future Part II".

I loved the review! Tom Wilson (who played Biff and his various relatives) has a very funny song called "Biff's Question Song" that he sometimes performs at conventions and is on RUclips.
The Cubs *almost* won the World Series in 2015. They ended up winning in 2016 instead. 🐻⚾️
Looking back, it's plain to see that the production team of this movie had high hopes for us in the future. Now that 2015 has come and gone, I feel like we let our predecessors down lol.
2015 was only 30 years in the future from this, I think their expectations were a little too high for what we can come up with in that time lol

The reason technology didn't develop is because the timeline was changed again. There was a huge explosion at Cyberdyne Systems back in 1991that set technology back decades.

I always try to explain to people that the writers had no intention of trying to make an accurate depiction of 2015. They noticed how most movies that take place in a near future get things so wrong. Because of that, they decided to just have fun with it and go all out with flying cars and all. So it's not what people really thought it would be like.

DeLoreans are actually pretty crappy cars. If you look at the speedometer in some of the scenes you can clearly see the car tops out at about 100mph.

Well, this is _supposed_ to be a nice neighborhood. Under normal circumstances, one could expect to fall asleep, in a swing, on one's front porch, late at night, and wake up _hours later,_ and not suffer anything but minor body aches from where one chose to _sleep._
Let me emphasize, though, that's under _normal_ circumstances; _safe_ circumstances; the kinds of circumstances Doc and Marty are _accustomed_ to.

I probably have a completely unjustified crush on you.. so.. beyond me being a creep.. I THINK.. that IF you would be willing to dedicate a lot of time on reaction videos you'd PROBABLY enjoy the TV-series known as "Red Dwarf".. and also the TV-series known as "Third rock from the sun"...
but just to say; I am a bit too old to not be judged for having a crush on you, but more importantly.. I am old enough to know that the REASON you think Doc is the perfect image of the "Crazy scientist" is NOT because.. someone created him to fit a stereotype.. but he is literally the person who CREATED the stereotype. I have seen a lot of movies with "Crazy scientists".. older than this movie.. but.. they didn't have the lab-coat, the unruly white hair, and so on.. This was LITERALLY the source of the stereotype you recognize.. you are looking at history in the making, so.. YOUR perception of what a mad scientist should look like COMES from this character.
See how good the movies were back in the 80s.
I suggest you finish this series...I think the 3rd movie is the best. Also you should watch the Karate Kid movie (1985) and then the Cobra Kai series

Hey you don't remember back in 2015 when we had flying car's, hover skate boards and parts of the street that generated random holograms of strictly 1980's era franchises? That was a weird year, Lol
Flying cars really did exist in 2015 (as they do now). It's still a very impractical vehicle for most people to fly so you rarely hear about them. Hoverboards obviously exist now too and the anti-gravity version can be made but is impractical to use. BTTF2 got 2015 RIGHT more than people give the writers credit for.

You've said it so well, spoiling the future is something nobody should ever be excited for.
The movie certainly took a dark turn in the future, with Marty's mom having that awful fate, his dad killed and Biff being the architect of all this mess.
You're perfectly right, the story is brilliant with all the plot twists and showing us how everything that could've gone wrong did go wrong and made everything that much worse.
The ending has such a anxiety inducing cliffhanger, you just know from seeing it that it kept people hooked after.
It's been a pleasure watchin your reaction, seeing just how excited you got, catchin your breath there at the end 😂

The Trilogy is simply amazing isn´t it? This is a quality of storytelling we won´t get that fast again. When you watched Part 3 which also is a great conclusion of the story i highly recommend another two movies from director Robert Zemeckis: Who framed Roger Rabbit which mixes Cartoons with the real world (also starring Christopher Lloyd) and The Frighteners starring Michael J. Fox as some fake Ghostbuster getting in a very mysterious Story. Both are big Tipps for the Future. I´m pretty sure you´ll like these as well.
This was my favorite of the trilogy, but they're all good.

Lol.. yyyeah, the producers or someone in charge apparently thought Marty didn't have any notable or significant character flaws, so suddenly in this 2nd movie, he's easily provoked by insults calling him a coward and is now an easy button to push.
Not true. He had the same flaws in BTTF1. He got triggered by calling him "chicken" and he often failed to meet deadlines or pay attention to rules.
@@davestang5454 Hmm.. where was that in the first movie? Of the countless times I've watched this, on Beta and laserdisc, I can't recall such a triggered reaction until this film. And I forgot where and who said it specifically, but I do remember hearing this from one of the writers, producers, or cast members specifically, in a commentary or interview or something-namely that *they* didn't feel he had any major flaws, and hence added this in for 2 and 3.
Maybe the reason flying was never realized was because of the meddling by Doc and Marty in the past.
Flying cars were really invented. I am surprised people don't know flying cars exist. They are just at a practical stage for use by most people.

Funny thing, He played a character named Todd "Maniac" Marshall in the Wing Commander space games. Wing Commander 3, 4 and Prophecy.
He was known for behaving like a Maniac.
For 2 & 3, Marty’s girlfriend is played by Elisabeth Shue. The original actress, Claudia Wells, was unable to reprise her role due to taking time off from acting to take care for her mother who was suffering from cancer at the time.

I first saw this before 2015, and now it is fun to see what did, and did not happen. They definitely missed the cell phone and flying cars.
In BTTF2 there ARE flying cars in 2015 and, in real life, there actually are flying cars but very few people can afford them. They also have video conferencing (zoom) and super-fast pizza ovens (real item for sale now) and they used the slang "tranked" to indicate someone under the influence of a drug. "Trank" is a real modern drug slang term now.
I'm excited that you're continuing with the series. This has to be at the front of the conversation for best trilogy of all time. It's on TV constantly and it's always a remote drop. These are the movies that just put a smile on your face no matter how many times you see it.
And sidenote: the actress that replaces the original Jennifer in this is the romantic interest in Karate Kid (1984). And I'm shamelessly mentioning that bc I can't wait until you get to that series. 😁

Pretty sure that the audience instantly noticed in the opening scenes that Marty's girlfriend had been kidnapped and replaced with Elizabeth Shue. This is a time-travel movie inside of a time travel movie.
15:01 The first drop was cool. The second drop was _hilarious._
We see old Biff, and we see Griff, his grandson, but we never see the generation in between. It means that somehow, Biff had at least one child, who then went on to have at least one child. One can't help but wonder what woman would have Biff's baby? And what went wrong with Griff's parents for him to turn out like that?
We do hear Biff's grandmother yelling at him in one scene. It can be inferred that Biff's parents were either dead or deserted him, which would give a good explanation why he turned out untrusting of anyone.
This one was a lot funnier before America ACTUALLY elected Biff.

No, it wasn't, but I guess the writers needed to add a simple plot device to get Marty to do what they wanted. (I wouldn't mind it so much except it was completely absent from movie #1.)
Chicken is more like a 50s cartoon television insult.

Let's be honest, we'd all do the same thing if we had a time machine and a book like that. I don't think any if us would go to the extent that Biff did, but there's nothing wrong with making a little extra cash on the side like Marty said.
The problem is that if you really had that sportsbook in 1955, knowing all the results of games, you could make far more than "a little extra cash". You could literally make $ billions and it would also affect the lives of all the people you "outguessed".
@@davestang5454 Yes, but you don't HAVE to make billions since you don't have to bet on every game/event. Just place $500 on the biggest and most unexpected moments and nothing more.
