    Next time you guys are in that area you need to go a little north to Oklahoma City and visit the Cowboy Hall of Fame Museum. We are not usually museum people but we went there and had a great time! Spent over two hours there. Lots to see and very interesting.

    I love true history. It is fascinating to discover how much has been omitted from the history books. It’s now a new year and look forward to y’all’s next adventure. It is a cold rainy day here in Greenville SC and we have 3 showings on our house, fortunately the RV is going on! 20 months until retirement and RV life.

    It is nice to know that the states are recognizing the Native American history. All native tribes were forbidden to speak their native tongues. Thank you so much for this video. Stay safe and hope you had enjoyed the holidays. John and Cheryl.

    Are the lights under your RV easy to install and on your Amazon store? Oklahoma was part of my territory years ago and traveled most of it but for work visiting customers, not touring. Looking forward to trying fried pies! lol. Enjoyed the video!

    • @RVUntethered
      @RVUntethered  10 месяцев назад

      The lights are extremely easy! We used the tape that came with it and then some of the clips they included as well. We just put the clips on with two-sided tape, rather than drilling. The company link is below, but you can search for outdoor strip lighting. They are fun!
      Beware of the fried pies! They are dangerous!

    Really cool! I love the history aspect and to be this close to Arkansas, it’s an easy do-able trip for us!
    Village Creek State Park in Wynne, Arkansas has a deep rooted Indian history.

    This is exactly why history should be taught properly and not buried to save white feelings. History is so important to people improving. Look up what Oklahoma did in Tulsa. We have a sad racist state. Sadly, it’s still pretty racist.

    • @RVUntethered
      @RVUntethered  10 месяцев назад +1

      Cody teases me because the truth can get you heated in a hurry. We chuckle at how things are worded throughout museums, to soften and sugarcoat.
      But the history is pretty fascinating!

    • @mommasonthemove9144
      @mommasonthemove9144 10 месяцев назад +1

      @RVUntethered History is fascinating and terrifying all at the same time. It is a great educational tool, and even the sad parts will teach us to be better people........ at least I hope.

      For the record, I'm white and not offended by America's history because I HAD NO PART IN IT. I used those lessons to teach my kids to be better people and why their roles in society matter.

    • @RVUntethered
      @RVUntethered  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@mommasonthemove9144We agree 100%! We both have a lot of Native American backgrounds, but we also believe that being ‘real’ with our history is important.
      What’s the quote? ‘Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.’
      Plus, those kids are getting a fantastic education, being on the road!
