Who wouldn't want to watch 20 minutes of pants talk? In this video I explore the what and why of Taylor Stitch and their pants after one year of wearing their 4 most popular models: the loungey Après, the workweary Boss Duck fabric (in the Camp pant model), the All Day pant (that's a jean that's not made of denim) and their seminal chino, the Foundation.

That's one of the things I most appreciate about TS. They put all of the exact garment's measurements on the product page, so no more second-guessing or going with a generic number like so many other brands do.
Cool to see a bunch of these shots having lived in Park Slope for a couple years!
This one is great, good job!
thanks jakub!
We need more pants recommendation for tall butt people!
I have the camp pants in the heather gray wool and they're...okay. I do really like the fit and they're great looking pants that are well-made, but the issues I have with them are that the crotch blew out incredibly quickly, and the wool is too warm to wear except in colder weather but they also don't keep wind out at all, so my legs still get cold outdoors on chilly days. Definitely eager to try out the camp/chore pants in the boss duck, though, as that fabric seems really cool.
I have the apres pants in white sashinko and they are my favorite lounge pants period.
I'm getting into sashiko a bit this year, now I want a pair!
I have a couple pairs of the sashiko apres pants and they’re just so good
love sashiko, finally got a sashiko jacket for this fall
Enjoy the longer videos!
i didn't mean for this to be so long haha i just write the scriprt with as much detail as i can include and they usually just wind up 8-12 minutes long. this one was a surprise!
My fav chinos are Flint and Tinder’s 365 pants or Patagonia’s Performance Twill.
365s are underrated.
I agree. They are very comfy and well made.
I like the 365s too they're just a bit lighter/less substantial than the Foundations. I like the wider range of fits though
Got a pair of apres pants in gray waffle last year, and they are the best lounge pants I've ever owned.
awesome dude! any tears in the waffle knit yet?
@@Stridewise not so far.
@@Stridewise I've had my Apres pants in army waffle for about 2 years now. No signs of wear whatsoever, the only big issue is that they are VERY susceptible to shrinking... so don't accidentally toss them in the dryer.
I love TS though, they're my favorite brand and I've been following them for about 5 years. Their Crater flannels are my favorite flannel on the market, and I love the outerwear they do.
You don’t want to be caught by your wife watching a dude stretching and talking butts and thighs 😂.. great video as usual man
Big fan of Taylor Stitch.
I always wonder what do the other people on the street think when they see you making all these moves and struts out in the wild 😂
haha it's embarrassing for sure. in most of new york nobody cares but i film in times square which is full of curious tourists so i get so many looks
😂
They do look lovely but I like heritage as I am short n boxy so need short n boxy to move
Love taylor stitch.
you say that you only wear canvas or leather jackets. what do you wear in heavy rain?
Waxed canvas - and an umbrella !
@@Stridewisehave you considered Ventile cotton jackets? Private White VC (English brand based in Manchester) have a Harrington and Mac in Ventile which is 100% waterproof and breathes (unlike waxed canvas), but those styles may not match your style.
I cut off all logos from my clothes.
same!
Ditto
I love some of their shirts, but prefer pants from Gustin.
Do the camp pants shrink much?
no, the boss duck actually stretches a good inch
Too tight in the crouch area don't you think?
Maybe should have mentioned I gained 10lb recently and they got tighter haha
@@Stridewise didn’t mean to criticize you man. I was talking about the design choice the company made. Personally I have really thick thigh and struggled with finding pants that are not tight in that area.
sorry the apres do look like sweat pants :P
but the taper! the waffle! the... I mean they're not outdoor pants you're right haha
They look very tight.
I was thinking the same thing.
I should have mentioned I gained 10 pounds since I bought them 🤦
Hard pass on the waffle pants
Do NOT buy Vanity sized clothing! 34 is a measurement, 34 inches, not a "SIZE" like medium. Great pants, terrible sizing. This makes buying online MUCH MORE difficult because you can't just buy based on your size.
Paid-for advertorial? Boo.
Nope
You're doing a very good impression of someone doing paid-for content. It would be very disappointing if you took that route.
@@user-tn2db6jg5q kinda hard to say you like a brand without sounding like that but I mentioned complaints for every model too!
Did you get these clothes for free? Be clear in your videos
