I met Lisa back in 01 at blue note 📝. Charlie was playing that night. Very friendly person. Very personal. That's because she a queens ny girl . Bernard as well from queens . She took time n spoke with me n my wife . I miss her doing back up for Stones
I met her as well at the Blue Note, in 2011 and a couple more times later on. She is exactly that, super down-to-earth and personable! She's actually a Brooklyn girl though lol!
after she left the stones she put on the pounds for sure -- said she was tired of all the pressure-dieting on tour -- but it sure as heck didn't affect her pipes!
