- KFI plug and play Winch on a Polaris Sportsman 570 atv. As advertised this KFI winch was all plug and play using the factory wire harnesses and mount. I added this first as I plan on using it most for plowing snow in the winter if I didn’t mention. Thanks for watching. Stay safe.

Do NOT try to install on a 2021 (with bumper)! Will NOT work until KFI re-engineers the bracket to support the bottom carriage bolts which need to be forward facing. Additionally, relay repositioning is NOT required - informed by KFI that directions are being updated.

I'm having one hell of a time trying to fit the winch in my 20/20 450 sportsman if you got any suggestions I would love to hear them but the electrical connections are pushing and riding on the radiator am I doing something wrong cuz every video I've seen said it was easy and I am having a hell of a time
Make sure you have the power cables installed exactly the way the winch instructions say. As I recall there are two different ways to place the power block on the actual winch before installing on the ATV, make sure you have correct for your application.
@@ScottieBMan thank you I'll check that I was expecting to throw in a winch and put on a plow today and I've got nothing but headaches
@@ac158 no problem. I had installed the bracket incorrectly right out of the box, I looked at the instructions closer and realized for the 570 the bracket had to mount slightly different. ( I think the 850’s and 1000 mount differently. Also fitment after 2020 (2021-2022) are different as well. Good luck, thanks for watching
@@ScottieBMan it's a 2020 Polaris HO 450 that's the winch I ordered and for some reason the electrical connectors smashing to the radiator and I can't connect the bolts so something is wrong here and I really appreciate your expertise
@@ScottieBMan the power cables fit perfectly it's all the rest of the cables that are holding the winch back from fitting into the bolt holes you got any suggestions I'd love them
I wish it was that easy I spent half a day trying to get that winch to fit there's nothing different about my Polaris 2020 sportsman but the winch I got from KFI will not go in there no matter what everything else plugs in but be careful what you're buying from KFI
I'm having a hell of a time trying to get my KFI winch to fit my 450 ho I cannot get the bolts lined up do I have the thing upside down the wire connections are smashing into the radiator if you got any information for me please let me know I'm at the end of my freaking short rope
Why in the hell want to fit on my 20/20 450 ho if you got any information I really appreciate it I've been pulling my hair out all day it will not fit
I have tried everything I cannot get the winch to mount the electrical connections on top of the winch are crunching my radiator if you got any information let me know cuz I have about had it
Im telling you if your electric contacts are still in the configuration that it shipped like it’s likely wrong for your application, and you will have to mount all the electrical connections to the side the instructions should be provided…there are pre-drilled mounts for it as well…just take connections off and relocate to the side mount position. ✌🏻

You need to move the motor to the side
I’m not sure what you mean, I followed the instal directions, been working well.
