Ross, really enjoy your videos. Anyone who has ever worked on equipment knows sadness is always right around the corner. Especially with no parts made in the USA anymore. I had to buy carburetors made in the middle east and China for my son’s Yamaha, there is always something not correct with these parts, but they are so cheap, if you buy enough of them you can rig something together
Yes, Truckster as the new, mobile jump pack. Fill the bed with batteries and jumper cables, so you always have a charged battery. At night, pull it up close to some electrical outlets and put the batteries on tenders!
The old Allis must be related to your B Deere...likes to test your patience. Gotta love the cheering section. Once cattle get into a routine, they let you know in a hurry if you aren't giving them attention. LOL
I was thinking you couldn't catch a break. Going to make for some good videos. You started talking to the cows and I started laughing 😂😂. See you later
I find booster packs work well for cars but not if you’re trying to get a tractor going. I built my own. A two wheel dolly, battery out of a semi, set of booster cables attached to the battery with proper clamps, and a small charger. It works better than it sounds.
I bought a jump pack from Interstate Battery. It will crank a 8V71 Detroit, all my tractors and lawn mowers. The best is that it is small and light to carry. I can get model number for you if you want.
Ross, now the cows want your attention as well. 🤣🤣🤣 On RUclips there's a RUclips channel called project farms he did a one about the jump packs and his recommendation. Thanks Michael
Get to feeling better soon it’s not too much fun when you’re not feeling well! BTW I use a Hobo freight 12/24 volt jump pack I bought about a year ago so far so good!
Good video Ross. I have an old 39 WC with the same issues. Oh, what fun. Good luck with the WD. I guess the cows aren't too happy. Guess they thought it was dinner time.
You like to leave your money at NAPA so get their 12v-24v jump pack. A little more expensive but we have used one to power the 12,000 lb. winch in winching tractors to the trailer and on the trailer. Compression, fuel in the correct quantity, and Spark at the right time. That will make it run.
Enjoy your videos. I am a Allis Guy & glad to see you have it under cover. Hope you get it running right. It fits right in with your Olivers since they all are under AGCOs ownership.
Yep, somedays are just like that. Simple jobs are never simple. At least you got the task at hand done. Way worse when you work at it all day and still don't get it. Tomorrow will be better. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Seems cows always know when you are having trouble because that's when they always come over and try to "help".
ive got a 30 ft set of cables i cut the clamps off one end and permanantly attatched to the battey on the truck with a master disconnect on the positive side and then mad a system i can wrap the cables on hooks like a vaccum cord and i always have cables that can reach a good distance
Interstate batteries have a great little jump box a little bit bigger than your hand i got one for my car and it starts my Gully transportation semi-truck when ever I need it think I've used it twice
Tractor looks to be a straight WD, if it has a 45 engine that's a definite perk! The distributor drive is from a WD. Those stupid needles make me wish all I had were diesels! Don't think the seats are as big a problem. I've got a D-17 that has decided it will only run with a jumper wire from the battery to the coil. It needs to get out of the shed so I can get to the disc and corn-planter! About ready to invest in a couple hundred pounds of tannerite for it. Just got a lead on a 1750! May have to go have a look tomorrow They gave us a jump pack at work, haven't used it yet. Still using the '03 GMC. I have floats for M/S carbs around here but that doesn't look like a model I have, probably the original from the WD, all of mine have Zenith's on them.
All those new parts put on the WD the last time ... are they old parts now? Is it a "ran when parked" scenario? I have a wide front WD that one of the wires running behind the carb broke so I need to put a new run in the harness, when warmer weather gets here.
I think you should buy trickle chargers for all your tractors, but before you do please let me know which brand of trickle charger you plan on buying because I want buy stock in the company. The volume sale like that is sure push up the stock price and the dow jone to boot.🤣🤣🤣🤣
That carb is for a WD and if it has a true 226 wd45 motor you’re not ever going get it rich enough to keep heads and head gasket on it. It will never pull the CFM’s needed. You need a tsx 464 carb. I’ve been down that road and only solved it with correct air flow. Unfortunately you will need a wd45 air cleaner to go with the carb due to volume that they pull. Simple fix but sadly more parts.
Best of the best!!! Clore Automotive Jump-N-Carry JNC660 1700 Peak Amp 12 Volt Jump Starter
DAD OF WISCONSIN OLIVER NUT HERE. ; WE USE A NOCO GENIUS BOOST PRO G B 150 ! WE REALLY LIKE IT AND IT WILL USUALLY START TH BIG TRACTORS !

That WD was sure not making it easy for you! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now then… how are you driving the truckster around when the carb is still sitting on the deep freeze? 😂
I feel the sadness on that tractor,we almost had animal noises for the animals, that was the funny part of the show
I'd say the mobile F250 jump pack is working well.

Boy that stuff Burns😂😂😂😂😂 next time tell me to wear safety glasses
I have had good luck with the blue JNC jump pack. Simple, doesn’t have all the electronic bullcrap.
Wow that WD was bucking you every step of the way. But you got her under the roof
proud you it to runlong enough to get it insde😊

My favorite jump pack is the one that opens when I pull the ripcord.😂
every time I hear an ac run I want a ride on the ferris wheel.

The white Ford P/U is the best jump pack!
NOCO Boost Pro GB 150, 3000A. Works on all my large diesels. Even starts the ones with dual volt 1000 CCA batteries. Very handy to have.
I bet you can make it run
interesting video
Great product testing and reviews on a jump pack.... can't wait.I've had several and havent been impressed so far.
Up to a 12 litre gas and up to 10 liter diesel
Batteries are the future.
It is a nice looking WD Ross and I'm sure you'll have it perfect. But I'd look for another Oliver. 😂
Favorite jump Pack ? 😁 Free Used good 8 hp mower motor, High amp alternator off a truck , big ass battery all on a cart. Great video thanks

Orange sadness time
I got a viking from harbor freight 1700 amps and it started a 1850 Oliver twice with dead batteries.
J&c Jumper packs from Napa used to be great last a long time had them at a shop I worked at last a long time and handled abuse
I've heard a lot of good things about the Dewalt 1600 jump pack, it even has a compressor built right in.
Nocona 150 is best I agree have 2
Not sure how any of those could even run sitting out in the elements 24 7
Top Don
Great video
Hope you get it fixed. Grew up with Allis chambers

seems to be doing what my 9n was doing before i cleaned the jets with some old guitar strings
Interstate batteries have a great little jump box a little bit bigger than your hand i got one for my car and it starts my Gully transportation semi-truck when ever I need it think I've used it twice
Napa sells an es5000 jump pack they awesome
I liked it.
Glad I’m not the only one who gets yelled at by their beefers when I’m not moving fast enough….
Nice video Ross

It's funny because it sounded like you were arguing with my mother in law at the end of the video
👍👍👍👍👍

Why do batteries hate you so much?
Noco.
I think someone put a battery curse 😢on your batteries
JNC(jump and carry)
Some of those battery jumpers are heavier than batteries 🤣
Yes they are but are worth it when it comes to having lots of equipment with dead batteries
Every jump pack I’ve ever had has only lived a year or less so I just stopped buying them. I guess I need the exercise anyway……
I dont think its a head gasket i bet the Knootsun valve needs adjusted . Is what im say'n .SEE
🤣🤣🤣 A loose Kanootson will do it every time!
