That is a really great find! Do some episodes on fixing and setting Magnetos. My brother and I tried getting our father's magneto-equipped WD going after sitting for fifteen years in a barn. Searching for spark, we took the magneto apart to inspect and internals looked fresh and new but getting it back together we don't know if it's right, or if it was even set right before we took the cap off. My WD (built within two weeks of our father's) has a distributor. I'm sure we're not alone with this problem as there are scattered poor resources on setting up/testing magnetos.
Just found your channel great tractors, I am an allis collector from the UK and own a 1939 allis rc original war time import in very original condition and know all its history from the suppling dealer all the way to me . Also own a 1939 b on steel wheels and a 1942 u plus about another 4 model b's .currently chasing a allis 25-40 which hopefully will come my way in the future
We have a 39 RC and a parts 40 RC and another complete 40 RC it was like 18 away from being a 41 model.. the RC was not appreciated like they should of been they are a very cool tractor but like the WC by 1939 it was already behind its time no hydraulics and it still had hand brakes but I love the RC because of how cool they are and they are geared slow .. this spring I'm building an RC for my daughter for pulling in a few more years !
Good day from Kitchener -Waterloo When u started talking bout collection. 10-14 yrs ago auction in Ottawa area Bill Allis collector. Down here by Wallenstein a trucking co. had some tractors on trailer was a Allis B with 4 wheel drive looking things up Model "H" look up So this has same motor as C rear end & frame of WC Thanks Happy new year to u
Another great find! You have every reason to smile at that one, nice looking machine and a relatively easy start.doesn’t get much better than that!Wonder why Allis left that “platform” on the front end of the tractor, some type of implement space?
This one’s just for show , has the same engine as a B so they are pretty under powered. Christmas was great , hope you and your family had a good holiday and have a happy new year
My cousin has a RC sitting in his trees. I've been meaning to talk to him about it. Everything is there but it's been parked for roughly 30 years. I'm not sure if I'd be worth fixing.
Unfortunately a lot of people on RUclips throw around the phrase restored! Apparently most of them don't know what that word means. They might do a paint job or a repair and call it restored which is certainly is not. Just like lots of people use the word ton, but has no connection to the actual definition of the word. And that makes those words absolutely useless! They might as well be saying blah blah blah blah!
“Refreshed” does that make you feel better ? Anything is better then it sitting in a fence row rotting. And a lot of today’s technology like 12 volt is far better and I would take that over originality any day, as my stuff still goes out to the field.
I got a WC, a WD and a B now, but would love to have an RC in the collection!
Nice find. Thanks for sharing
Nice addition to the collection!
Thank you , I wanted one for a while
Excellent video On This Allis Chalmers RC 1939 one and good condition in for ! Super nice running and don't smoke at all too !

The last episode of the WC touches on it , but I’ll set one up on the WF for you to see

A B with 4 wheel drive ? Now that’s something I’d like to see! Thanks for share and happy new year don
@@ontariovintagetractor Look up allis "H"
I told farmer Pete about it. Thanks
I'm so jealous right now! One of the ACs I'd love to have!
I’ve hunted for this for a while , I finally got lucky lol
@@ontariovintagetractor I bet. I haven't seen one for a long time. Maybe years ago at a Gathering of the Orange show, but that's it.
the last ac built in uk till about 69 was the ed240 depthomatic with stanrd company 4cy engine like in mf35s
Fine looking rig. 🎉

Same Chassis as WC , with same engine as a B , made for a lot of unused space
That's a great find! It's in pretty good shape. Perhaps another pulling tractor? I hope you guys had a great Christmas.

They didn’t make many , worth a shot ,
Should be lots of B engines around if needed
What is that magneto? Mine has a Fairbanks Morse just like my WCs.
Good eye , someone put an IH mag on it, I have Fairbanks here for it
@@ontariovintagetractor I was guessing it was an IH distributor before you said it was still a mag, threw me for a loop! Lol
I have one. This one is my second one. It needs a couple things but I have a Sherman that I want to put in but need the short pinion to do so.
