Once again, so refreshing!! I have never done "Winter" decorating & gave it a try last weekend. Removed all the Santa and red. The resulting white, black, silver & green palate is very crisp, but still relaxing. Thank you so much for the inspiration. And yes, I would play musical furniture if I could. My house is small and the options are very limiting for furniture placement. I learned at a young age when you are housecleaning, if you leave everything the same, it doesn't really look like you did anything. I would swap around the nick nacks, pillows, whatever, to make it look fresh. Who doesn't love have a fresh new look every time the season changes?

Good morning sweetie. As always you did such an amazing Job. It makes me want to grab a cup of coffee a great book prop my feet up and enjoy the day. I am 75 and all my friends laugh at me because I am always playing musical furniture. My boys on the other hand say I scare them climbing and lifting and moving furniture. It is strange that on the inside I still feel young. I so enjoy seeing you using your God given talent. God bless.

I really like how you begin with white on white. The way you place things so strategically, the eye is not assaulted but instead allowed to drift gently through the room, appreciating the textures of things, the subtle gradations among neutral tones. The best part: there's more than one cozy, beautiful spot to love. ❤

I do change things around, quite a bit throughout the seasons but my home is filled with color. It was very light for a long time and I changed it in 2022 to a home filled with color. It was always what I loved and wanted. I was just afraid to commit but once I did, OMGosh!! I'm happy everyday when I walk through my home and look around. You sunroom is lovely

I normally plan out my furniture placement, it may take me a while but once I achieve it I just never mess with it. I love how cozy this room looks, it would be a great room to sip hot cocoa and watch it snow out those beautiful windows. Beautiful room ❤

Hi Becca! Yes I love to rearrange! I just can't do it much in this home. It was really built for things to remain in the same place but at our old house...my husband still teases how he would come home from work and run into a piece of furniture because it wasn't there when he left in the morning.🤣 Love your quiet winter touches, I know I say it all of the time but your home exudes peace. I can just imagine you there with a cup of something and a magazine or book. Hope you are warm! See you soon💕

Love the sunroom! I’m so glad to find someone who, like me, loves symmetry. I, too, use to move furniture sometimes every month. Beware though. I have had to have two very major back surgeries. The key (that I didn’t learn until too late) have help😂

I really enjoy decorating with a simple winter theme. I use winter greenery, white snow-capped houses, & my snowman collection. . It is perfect for relaxing after the busy holiday season. A cup of tea, a good book, a little bit of snow falling outside, and a cozy fire makes it perfect! ⛄️❄️☃️

Good Morning Becca ! What a cozy and wonderful decorating video. Always love your style. I play musical furniture all the time, mainly now because of my 4 year old grandson who is a little bit active. We have him on Friday's (help with daycare a few days a week) but had a long awaited sleepover pending - and Michigan is getting hit with a major snowstorm today. So, keeping fingers crossed this Grandma can entertain him for 36 hours! Have a great weekend!

Becca, love white! Have u seen My Texas House Rugs? I bought 4 of them, love them!! Theyre white or beige and love the textures!! Also, where did u find ur snowflake pillow?
I HAVE and love them (got my eye one one of them). How are they holding up? That cute pillow is from HomeGoods (a few years ago).
@@AdventuresinDecorating Well, I could send u pics, but the beige colored one in the family room holding up great. The two cream colored rugs are doing ok. One is in the dining room, doesn't get much traffic. The one in living room can get a little dirty especially if u eat over them..which I rarely do. I haven't had them long enough to know how well they'll hold up in the long haul..but, man, they're gorgeous! My couch is the white sectional from Ikea..I decorate cottage chic, all neutrals, but like you I change it up for the seasons..change even my drapes when it's summer...we have huge windows overlooking a lagoon pool, so I go coastal around May adding in blues a bit. Its so much fun!
