My dad grew up with Christian parents (at least his mom) but later in his life decided that he did not agree with the beliefs. He studied multiple religions and found ifá (not really a religion).
The only thing I would add is that [The Concept] Numerology, actually goes back to Talmudic Jewish-Babylonian Mysticism. The early Jews, especially fringe sects, were obsessed with specific “Numbers” given by God or gods/Rabbis/etc. and YES, all Rabbinical Jews today, treat THEIR Rabbis as gods. What they say, goes… Particularly when it’s challenged by its Own Scriptures. JUST Like I would NEVER, EVER go with a Sheikh or Imam- OVER THE Koran. But MANY, MANY do. It’s basically, “Bidah”. It’s sad.
