I totally agrre about a hot house. I dont want a freezing house, but do prefer it cooler. You can add layers, but you can only take so many off! I like the new title Empress Tracy 😊

Well done on the roof Budo, those crotchet things seem a lot quicker than the old way we did it when I worked for Furlong bros in London many moons ago. It's so nice to see an old school craftsman who takes a pride in their work. I tell everyone to go on RUclips and watch and subscribe to you two as you should have WAY more subs !
Thank you Garry yes we are struggling with subscribers mate i think and have been told that its RUclips that is the problem with there stupid A.I tools and analytics they are targeting the wrong audience and when they don't watch after the first hour or two RUclips stop pumping us out to peoples feeds but we have agreed Tracy and i that if it doesn't pick up by the end of summer we are closing it all down and deleting all content and concentrating on living in France buddy

Suggestion for your cooker is induction as it's greener than gas and cheaper to run we live ours.

You make it look so easy, but I know it’s not. You both must be so proud of you’re accomplishments. Making a wonderful home. I live both in Canada and winter in the south of France. My Mom was from Grasse. Perfume capitol of the world and lavender well that’s just so Provence. One of my favourites as well as jasmine. Merci. BTW Caoucaren is French patois for ‘Something’ it was the name my uncle gave to his villa in the south of France.

Have you considered having a stable door to outside in the kitchen?
If you got too hot with the Aga in the winter you could just open the top half of the door...
