I am Orthodox Christian and really love the ministries of the SDA. I have watched many videos of yours and others and can't say enough good about what and who you are. Many blessing and I am studying hard to please my Lord with my life. Started keeping the Sabbath and Love the blessings with it. Orthodox have Sat. and Sun. services, but normally communion is on Sunday.

J Day A careful bible study will show that God did not give days of the week names such as Monday etcetera. Thus in biblical times we only read of first day; second day; third day; fourth day; fifth day; preparation day and the seventh day or Sabbath.

Hey creeper46 - why not go back to the beginning - Genesis 2: 2, 3 "And on the seventh day, God ended his work which he had made and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made and God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." He gave us the Sabbath at creation. Then, in Exodus 20 he memorialized it by telling the Israelites to REMEMBER IT and keep it holy, as a part of His ten commandments which he wrote in STONE, literally. We are to worship Him on his holy and sanctified day - ALL OF IT. All 24 hours. It isn't about "what day church is". Going to a building is not representative of a person keeping God's day holy.

You are comparing scripture with others that do not complement. Ex. 20, for that matter Ex. 16, is the first place in all the scriptures where the word Sabbath rest appears, and who does it appear with? God's covenant people Israel. Tell me please why we have "0" example, story, history etc.etc. concerning anyone before Ex. 16 celebrating a 7th day weekly sabbath? None for Abraham, Isaac or Jacob.................Why????????? I was asking a specific question in a specific way because Sister White tells us that satan will come (reveal himself 'in the flesh') in a manner to impersonate Jesus' 2nd coming but that he will not be permitted to DUPLICATE Jesus' 2nd coming. The rise in the population of those that believe in Islam is largely as a result of the birth rate in Islamic countries where 5 - 7 children in a family is a norm. The rise in those populations that believe in Christianity is rising at a slower rate where the birth rate is far less significant, 1 -3 children is the norm. BIG difference.
And of course, most of those outside our faith who look to things happening in the political realm don't understand whatever disaster to come will only start off the end time scenario. It may not be possible to provide definitive proof of a historical Abraham but i do think that there is reasonable evidence to believe that he existed. His diaspora with a record of their linage, his tomb in Hebron, a historical record of his life, his words and the places he had been, the effects of his life choices in the events in the middle east today which were foretold...these may constitute zero evidence for you but what more evidence do we have for other figures of the past such as Socrates or Plato?

Saying I do not believe humanity will be around in 2050 to take a census of how many Muslims to Christians there are, is a far cry from setting a time for Jesus' second coming. We are also to understand the times in which we live and recognize as things ramp up for the time of trouble so that it does not take us unaware.

I've never heard about the confirmation of EGW and Christ's coming. Source please. Also, it was not the Adventists that made this claim. It was the people im the Millerite movement. They were people from all denominations and carried over their teachings from the Baptist church about the sanctuary being an earthly one. So I would say the error was owed to the Baptists. What came out of this however was the bitter disappointment, and EGW came after, and then the Adventist church.

Many blessing and I am studying hard to please my Lord with my life. Started keeping the Sabbath and Love the blessings with it. Orthodox have Sat. and Sun. services, but normally communion is on Sunday.

He gave us the Sabbath at creation. Then, in Exodus 20 he memorialized it by telling the Israelites to REMEMBER IT and keep it holy, as a part of His ten commandments which he wrote in STONE, literally. We are to worship Him on his holy and sanctified day - ALL OF IT. All 24 hours. It isn't about "what day church is". Going to a building is not representative of a person keeping God's day holy.

You are comparing scripture with others that do not complement. Ex. 20, for that matter Ex. 16, is the first place in all the scriptures where the word Sabbath rest appears, and who does it appear with? God's covenant people Israel. He should not count them as Christian since they do not recognize Word of God (Bible) as a final and only authority. They do not go with the Word of God but they go with the word of pope! Saying I do not believe humanity will be around in 2050 to take a census of how many Muslims to Christians there are, is a far cry from setting a time for Jesus' second coming. We are also to understand the times in which we live and recognize as things ramp up for the time of trouble so that it does not take us unaware.

I've never heard about the confirmation of EGW and Christ's coming. Source please. Also, it was not the Adventists that made this claim. It was the people im the Millerite movement. They were people from all denominations and carried over their teachings from the Baptist church about the sanctuary being an earthly one. So I would say the error was owed to the Baptists. What came out of this however was the bitter disappointment, and EGW came after, and then the Adventist church.

Daniel 11 begins with 2 literal kingdoms warring against each other, (and poor Israel caught in the middle), but then these kingdoms morph into symbolic, spiritual kingdoms: King of North becoming the Papacy, King of South becoming Atheism/Communism, and Israel becoming God's true remnant people. At the end of the chapter, the characters DO NOT revert back to literal kingdoms again, and Daniel 11: 40-45 MUST NOT be interpreted literally. Even if some of the literal events mentioned do take place, (which is likely), they are merely "smokescreens" to draw attention away from what is happening in the spiritual realm. The king of the South in 1798 was the entity that gave the king of the North its deadly wound, (Rev 13). IT DOES NOT REVERT TO ISLAM AT THE END OF TIME!!!!

Remember salvation is not based on good deeds but the free gift through Jesus to all who believe in the sacrifice of Jesus (Son of God) at the sacrifice on the cross for our sins and in His resurrection as the promise of Resurrection to life to all those that believe in His death and resurrection.
Secondly it does not make sense to say that Jesus loves Muslims, Christians, Buddhists etc but rather that He loves, Arabs. Africans, Indians, Saudis, Mexicans etc - get the point.
