Keeping the Sabbath brings tremendous joy. The purest form of joy that I've ever known. One must keep 3 sabbath days holy in 3 consecutive weeks to begin to feel the joy and on the fourth week in a row...your joy in knowing that you are communing with God on his holy day will be overflowing the normal boundries of joy. Keeping the Sabbath, and becoming a Seventh Day Adventist has caused me to be the happiest that I've ever been. I've since been blessed with sobriety and the best job that I have ever had.

Its not both and Paul clearly indicates that it is not both Romans 7:6 --we are to serve God NOT in the old way of keeping commandments but in the new way of the spirit.
      What is the difference?
Let's go back to the Law.
Why do you think God command Israel to love their neighbour? Do you suppose that they didn't already know that? I am sure many did and were doing so. Equally, I am sure many did knew but were not doing so. And then there were those who didn't know because they didn't understand. These last two groups had to be taught. This is what parents do with their children, until they understand. So, for me, this command was a general rule God gave to Israel to guide its people.
When we look at instruction in goodness, we see it is intended to bring understanding but it has no force unless it is framed in wisdom. Jesus' teachings, like Solomon's before him, are famous for their wisdom.
So what is the "wisdom" in loving one's neighbour?
When you genuinely love your neighbour, then their life, their family, their property and possessions, as well as their name and reputation, are not negatively threatend by you. On the contrary, they are positively actively safeguarded by you. Love among neighbours brings the assurance of safety and security. This positive attitude and behaviour is why love fulfilled the Law. It fulfilled it in the spirit, making the letter of law, irrelevant, for no wrong was done. Hence, the law was satisfied.
Love is the law of the universe.

    • @brianhyde5900
      @brianhyde5900 7 лет назад

Those who pursue law as a way of acceptance before God follow a path to nowhere. It will serve only to bring them more of the mental bondage they are already experiencing, whether they know it or not. Paul warned his first-century audience against doing this : "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.". (Gal 5:1)... Some Jewish converts were pursuing the Law because they thought it made them perfect before God. It never did because righteousness did not come through keeping commands. Now man has the perfection he wanted. He had been justified and thus reconciled to God through the perfect righteousness of Christ. (Rom 5:18; 2Cor 5:19) "For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. (Col 3:3) This is because "Christ was made man's wisdom, justification. sanctification, glorification." (1Cor 1:30) At no point in his life did the believer need to consider himself as "imperfect", not as far as God is concerned. He came short of nothing, in Christ. In Christ man was "brought to fullness" (Col 2:10) Whereas the Law served only to create in man a defiled conscience because of the endless stream of guilt and shame of sin brought by the condemnation of Law. The Law, and the sin consciousness it created, kept the soul in a constant state of spiritual and mental bondage. Man was set free from the Law and sin consciousness, because Christ, as First Fruits, was in himself the fulfilment of the Law (Rom 8:1-3; 1Cor 15:23; Rom 10:4). Through His blood and body, Christ opened up "a new and living way" for man to access God's presence, substitutionally speaking, and to serve God freely -- not in the old way of the written code -- but in the new way of the spirit (Heb 10:20: Rom 7:6) Until the day of Judgment. Now all that took place BEFORE the Judgment in AD 70 when God finally destroyed the old covenant world of the man in Adam and its standing. The old is gone and the new is here. Today, we are in union with God in love. We are born free.

    • @sharonsmith1203
      @sharonsmith1203 5 лет назад +3

JCisKING YES! Saturday, sundown Friday to sundown Saturday.
God doesn't take back his gifts. He doesn't take back a blessings. He doesn't break His side of covenants, and He surely doesn't change His word. He says it is binding "forever", to be from "generation to generation". It identifies His people from the heathens. The punishment for not obeying it is death. It was created in creation for ALL. Not for Jews, not for isrealites. But For every human since creation.
The last day can not change to the first, because God rested on the last day. Jesus rested on Saturday and God raised Him up from the death that early next Sunday morning! The disciples went to there graves honoring it. Jesus always obeyed it, and He never said to discontinue it.
Even Jesus said, "pray that your flight not be during winter or on the Sabbath day." Rev. States that John was caught up in the vision on the Sabbath day.
During the first approximate 360 years post resurrection, the first christian sects always obeyed it.
Where did the change come? The RCC. Even their catholic catechism book does not deny the Sabbath day. Yet they decided to celebrate the first day in memory of the resurrection and somehow cancelled the need to worship on the sabbath. What has rembrence of the pentacost and ressurection got to do with Saturday sabbath? Nothing I tell you.
This day God says is to be kept separate, but the Catholics say that they rest in Jesus every day.
Blasphemy. The Sabbath is separate. Man does not change the laws of God. Jesus said He came not to destroy the mosaic laws but fulfil them!
Jesus had much time to tell us blatantly of a Sabbath day change. But He didn't. You can not change the first day to the last. There are no eight days to creation!
Jesus is "Lord of the Sabbath!"
And we will honor it in the afterlife.
God has permitted you to see the deception of the Sunday sabbath. It is one of the devil's greatest deceptions.
He poisoned the root of the first church and every denomination which branched from the RCC have drank of it's poison.
Please Remember, the Sabbath was not given to man due to sin. Why would Jesus' death and ressurection ever eliminate the Sabbath day law. It's a commandment. Ironically its the only commandment that says "remember" it!!! 🤗🤗
God bless you and your family.

To those who believed that Jesus fulfilled the law so now we don't have to worry about it I have a few questions. Can I worship other Gods? Should I commit adultery? Can I kill freely? Why is it that all of the other nine commandments are not done away with( fulfilled through Christ). Fulfill means: Bring to completion or reality, achieve or realize, carry out a task as promised, required or expected. It does NOT mean to do away with.
The Ten Commandments are Gods definition of sin against him. Most people who say the “Law” has been fulfilled really mean keeping the Sabbath since they surely recognize the other nine as sin. The bible states that if you break one you break all ( James 2:10-11). We can only saved through accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. We keep God’s Law because we love him(John 14:15). Also read Matt 5:18.

I used to think of the Sabbath as somewhat unimportant, but global observance could do a lot to bring more awareness of God, and yes it's in the same block of rules as the other 9 stealing/adultery. I believe one day a week is better than nothing, but God has a right to pick the day. I'm not sure how it goes for someone who has a Saturday job but is otherwise unemployed! Last Saturday was the most peaceful I've had in a while.

jmcjrmd The "Letter of the Law" and the "Spirit of the Law" are the same law. Jesus magnified the law in Matthew 5-7. The true intent of law keeping is God's life forming His image and likeness in us through Christ. I have never read a statement from non-Sabbath keepers that the law has been abolished to the extent now we can kill and lie and commit adultery. If you find one like that would you mind letting me know? A person like that would be a lawless one.
One of the clearest explanations of how the Apostles understood the law since the death of Christ in 2 Corinthians 3:7-18. The law, written on stone (10 commandments) is referred to as a "ministration of death." V13 points to them as being "abolished." The law on stone was a condemning law. He's how Paul summed that up in Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Walking after the flesh means attempting to please God by how we behave. Our sinful nature cannot please God even if we were the best neighbors in the world.
And this is how Pal refers to the "ministration of death in Romans 8:2, "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Here is the powerful outcome of Christ living the law in us: Romans 8:4, "That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Which is the greater experience a Christian can have, obeying the letter of the law of the 10 commandments or having Christ behaving through us His sinless Perfect life, the true inner life Adam and Eve were created with?

    • @tonyrusso1363
      @tonyrusso1363 9 лет назад

***** I don't mind responding to you on the reason you are foggy on the subject: It is virtually impossible for you to see this. The natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit because the things of the Spirit are only understood by revelation. This spiritual discernment comes with the gift of the gospel truth. This is where you fail to understand and more--this is the cause for your attitude and belligerent ways.
This is the way Paul was before his conversion so I still have high hopes for you to see 2 Cor 3:7-18---after you have been converted.

    • @tonyrusso1363
      @tonyrusso1363 9 лет назад

***** Fine. Let's chart Doug Batchelor's road map to eternity. Please look up the following text's and give me the picture you see of where Christ went after His ascension and tell me Yes or No if you agree with these passages as to His location then and today.
      Acts 2:33; Acts 5:31-32; Acts 7:55-56; Romans 8:34; Ephesians 1:20-21; Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 1:3-4; Hebrews 8:1-2; Hebrews 10:12; Hebrews 12:2; 1 Peter 3:22.

    • @tonyrusso1363
      @tonyrusso1363 9 лет назад +1

***** Be patient. What if someone told you that Jesus did not go directly to the Father's right hand as Scripture says? What if they told you they could give you other text's that would prove He did not go before His Father for another, let's round it off, 1800 years.
Wouldn't you agree, in view of the passages you read, an individual would have to twist Scripture to try and prove Jesus did not go to His Father after the 40 days but took another 1,800 years? The entire New Testament verifies that our Lord is at the right hand of God and has been since the resurrection. You stated, "I know where He has been for the last 2,000 years." And the New Testament agrees.
However, Batchelor does not teach that truth. He claims Jesus was involved in something else for 1810 years, then He went before God at His right hand. He ignores the New Testament text's. He will tell you that Adventists are the only ones that have it right. He will tell you that the Adventist Church is the only true church on earth and the 1810 years delay that Christ went before His Father points to Adventists as being the 144,000, or the remnant church of the last days.
Do you want to read his own words on how he came to this conclusion? Do you really care if he's wrong?
You asked me to break it down and that's what I will do, one step at a time. It's really is very interesting.

      JACKYjacky,
"Man made" Protestant false teachers are FULL OF CONTRADICTION.
      For example???
      1. Protestant false teachers preach an "invisible" and "Spiritual" Church, while they hypocritically reach deep down into gullible people's pockets for money in a very "visible" place. Why do Protestants preach an "invisible" or "Spiritual" Church??? To hide the fact and truth they have absolutely no history back to Jesus Christ or beyond a 1500'S "man" Martin Luther.
      2. Protestants teach a self contradictory false teaching "Bible Alone", which ironically is found absolutely no where in the Bible.
      3. Protestants say "Everything has to be in the Bible to be believed". Where is that statement even in Sacred Scriptures??? Instead, what do Sacred Scriptures say??? John 21:25, 2 Thessalonians 2:15 or especially Acts 1:3. Which ONE CHURCH has these "40 days" of Jesus Christ's teachings that are not in the Bible per the Bible???
      4. Protestants say "ORAL TRADITION" is to be rejected. Why??? Because, not one "man made" Protestant denomination has history back to Jesus Christ, so they have to reject it - despite what 2 Thessalonians 2:15 clearly says.
      5. Protestants say the "pillar and bulwark of TRUTH" is the Bible. 1 Timothy 3:15 clearly says "the Church" singular meaning the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH is the "pillar and bulwark of TRUTH", who ultimately put the Bible together in the first place.
      6. Protestants say "the Bible" is the final authority. As a result, it has led to 35,000 and growing "divisions" - as they each become their own "Pope" deciding what is correct or not. Conversely, we see Jesus Christ giving His final "authority" to resolve faith and moral disputes to His ONE and ONLY established Church being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH per Matthew 18:17.
      7. Protestants preach "Faith Alone". The Bible clearly rebukes this specific false teaching by stating in James 2:24 "NOT BY FAITH ALONE". In John 13:34, Jesus Christ commands us in the NEW COVENANT to "love", which clearly is an action or work that is needed (John 5:29, 15:12, 17, Romans 2:6, Philippians 2:12, Colossians 1:10, Acts 26:20, etc.) for salvation.
      8. Protestants say the Holy Eucharist is just "symbolism" - another word not found in the Bible just like "Bible Alone". But, Jesus Christ Himself (WHO CANNOT LIE) repeats over and over in the Bible "THIS IS MY BODY....THIS IS MY BLOOD" (Matthew 26:26, Mark 14:22, Luke 22:19, John 6:51, 54-58) and is needed for salvation (John 6:54-55) or for "Death to Passover" in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19). Jesus Christ, the "Lamb of God" (John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1:19), is the true fulfilled "forever" GOD liturgically commanded "Bread of the PRESENCE" (Leviticus 24:5-9).
      9. Protestants say Matthew 23:9 "call no man father" is an indictment against the Catholic Church priests being called "Father", while they hypocritically call their own biological father's "father".
In that Matthew 23:9 statement of Jesus Christ's, Protestants don't understand Jesus was using a hyperbole teaching emphasizing not to get caught up in honors or titles that can detract from proper worship due to our Heavenly "Father". Proof??? Judges 17:10, 18:19. What did GOD allow His old covenant priesthood to be called??? Philem 10 and especially 1 Corinthians 4:15. What did Catholic St. Paul consider himself in the New Covenant???
      10. Protestants say "no man" can forgive sins. However, in the old covenant GOD clearly used ordained "men", the Leviticus Priesthood, to forgive sins (Leviticus 5:5-6, Numbers 5:5-9). In Matthew 16:19, 18:18, and specifically explained in John 20:21-23 what same "power" did Jesus Christ give to His ONE and ONLY established Church being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH or to the NEW COVENANT ordained "men" of GOD???
      11. Protestants claim the Catholic Church is "man made" or "pagan". But, what does clear history and the Bible (Matthew 16:19) say???
      www.newadvent.org/cathen/12272b.htm
The irony and contradiction here is each and every single Protestant denomination (35,000 and growing divisions) is truly "man made" all stemming from a 1500's "man" Martin Luther. For instance, Protestant history can easily be revealed like the Seventh Day Adventist was formed by a "man" in Battle Creek, MI in 1863AD.
So yes, there are many contradictions in the rebellious "man made" Protestant Golden Calf faiths.

      Alexx Date,
JESUS CHRIST AS THE NEW MOSES
One cannot even remotely understand the NEW COVENANT without properly understanding the old covenant, i.e. all the other various covenants (Adam, Noah, Abraham, Mosaic, David, Levi), and all the covenant promises being “fulfilled” by Jesus Christ.
Are you aware Jesus was prophesized to be a NEW MOSES? Deuteronomy 18:18.
Leading a NEW EXODUS like Moses through “water (Baptism) and Spirit (Laying of Hands)” John 3:5 fulfilling Ezekiel 36:25-27 prophecy being “reborn” no longer liturgically bound by the old “written” covenant law (Baptism is per Romans 6:3-13 and explained in Romans 7:6)???
Establishing a NEW ISRAEL by choosing “12 Apostles” to represent the “12 Tribes” and gathering them all into the “NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH” where “ALL MANKIND” can come to worship Him (both Jew and Gentile alike) fulfilling Isaiah 66:22-23 prophecy???
Through Jesus Christ the NEW ADAM (Romans 5:12-18) we become part of the NEW CREATION (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15) as “adopted” sons and daughters of GOD (Galatians 4:4-7)???
How like Moses Jesus went up on a mountain and gave us NEW LAW in the NEW COVENANT that “fulfill” (Matthew 5:17, Romans 13:8, 10, Galatians 5:14), elevate and “perfect” the old covenant laws (Matthew 5:1-12 and especially John 13:34, 15:12, 15:17, 1 Corinthians 9:21, Galatians 6:2)???
Aware that Jesus Christ transformed the Exodus 12:14 “forever” GOD commanded passover in the upper Room in the “Last Supper” into the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19-20) replacing the lamb in all the Synoptic Gospel accounts (Matthew 26:26-28, Mark 14:22-24, Luke 22:19-20) with Himself by becoming the “Lamb of GOD” (John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1 :19) for “Death to Passover” (John 6:54)???
Giving us a NEW SABBATH as the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER "fulfills" all the Leviticus 23 "forever" GOD commanded Feasts that point to what "day" in Leviticus 23:11,15 and verse 21 "on the same day" with a “day of rest”, and verse 39??? Further, see “AGAIN HE SET A CERTAIN DAY” and “another day” per Hebrews 4:7-9 with what conclusion in verse 9???
Aware that Jesus gave us a NEW PRIESTHOOD as He fulfilled His Father’s “forever” WORD (Exodus 29:7-9, Exodus 40:15, 1 Chronicles 23:13), covenant promise to Levi (Numbers 25:12-13, Malachi 2:4-7), and NEW COVENANT PROMISE (Jeremiah 33:14-22) to take in some “Gentile” priests (Isaiah 66:21) so it will no longer be based on tribal lineage??? Are you aware an old covenant Jew could not go directly to GOD to receive His forgiveness for his personal sins??? Leviticus 5:5-6 and Numbers 5:5-9. The same is true in the NEW COVENANT as the ONE MEDIATOR gave what “power” to His Church in Matthew 16:19, 18:18 and specifically stated to newly certain ordained “men” in John 20:21-23???
Aware Jesus Christ gave His very self to us as the NEW MANNA in the Holy Eucharist (John 6:31-35) to sustain us until we reach the NEW PROMISED LAND (Heaven)???
Doubts about the “real presence” of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist??? If the old covenant is a mere “shadow” of the revelation in Jesus Christ (Hebrews 10:1), then what do you believe the “forever” liturgically GOD commanded “Bread of the Presence” (Exodus 25:30, Leviticus 24:5-9) becomes in the NEW COVENANT???

      Alexx Date,
This one keeps getting deleted by SDA false teachers and followers. I wonder why??? Just in case there was any confusion over the NEW MOSES post.
The Catholic Church "SUPPORTS ALL COMMANDMENTS"!!! AGAIN, THE CATHOLIC CHURCH SUPPORTS ALL COMMANDMENTS OF GOD!!!
***There are two stages (old covenant laws and NEW COVENANT COMMANDMENT) or two steps to GOD’S REVEALED LAWS.****
The 10 Commandments are the "forever" immutable and immovable first step of GOD'S LAW. It will "forever" be convicting the WORLD of the need for the "sacrifice" of Jesus Christ to be "forgiven" or "released" through Baptism (Romans 6:3-13) into "NEW LIFE OF THE SPIRIT" (Romans 7:6, 8:2) to live in the "Spirit of the Law" which is LOVE (John 13:34) of the "second step" of revealed Law towards Heaven.
NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH (Isaiah 66:18-23), NEW CREATION (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15), NEW ADAM (Romans 5:12-21, 1 Corinthians 15:22, 15:45), NEW STAGE, NEW STEP, NEW COMMANDMENT IN THE NEW COVENANT IS LOVE (John 13:34, 15:12, 15:17) = NEW SABBATH (Hebrews 4:7-9).
Additionally, the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19) “fulfills” all of the “forever” Leviticus Chapter 23 Feasts that are commanded on what “day” per Leviticus 23:11-14, 15-21, and verse 39 with a commanded “day of rest”??? All the Feast dates you say??? Moot point as the Catholic Church celebrates the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER “daily” as Jesus Christ compared Himself to the old covenant “manna” that came down “daily” per John 6:31-35.
Now back to the Laws, as a NEW COVENANT CHRISTIAN (Catholic) not only can I still break the old laws of the immovable and immutable first step or stage of law, but the second step or second stage of revealed LAW refusing to LOVE as Jesus Christ commands (John 13:34).
***I can commit sins of "commission" by "morally" breaking the old covenant laws (10 Commandments) and sins of "omission" not LOVING AS CHRIST DID.****
What "fulfilled" means is I am no longer "liturgically" bound to worship by the old covenant (Hebrews 8:13) through Jesus Christ's "sacrifice", but still "morally" REQUIRED TO FOLLOW THE 10 COMMANDMENTS AS IT IS THE FIRST STAGE OF GOD'S LAWS THAT ARE "FOREVER" IMMUTABLE AND IMMOVABLE LAWS.
Do you understand??? I am to "die" to my old "fleshly" sinful self to be "born again" and "LIVE IN THE SPIRIT". John 3:3-6. Verse 6 "THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE FLESH IS FLESH, THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT".
If I don't choose to "LIVE IN THE SPIRIT" of the Law of the second step up, then what does Romans 8:13 say about that specifically or Hebrews 10:26 what happens to Jesus Christ's "sacrifice" if I “deliberately sin”???
Welcome to Matthew 5:17 paraphrase "I DID NOT COME TO ABOLISH, BUT FULFILL" which means to elevate and "perfect" the old laws or first stage of revealed law. Sin???
ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS WILL BREAK YOURSELF AGAINST THE 10 COMMANDMENTS IF YOU FALL BACKWARDS INTO SIN AND HIT THAT “FIRST STEP” OF REVEALED LAW AND “MUCH WORSE” PER HEBREWS 10:29.
Ultimately, in the NEW COVEANNT we have a NEW ADAM (Jesus Christ), NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH (Catholic Church where “all mankind” both Jew and Gentile alike can worship Him), NEW CREATION, NEW LAW = NEW SABBATH!!!

      Alexx Date,
What else points to a "NEW SABBATH" besides GOD promising to end the old "Harlot Sabbath"(Hosea 2:11, Lamentations 2:6, 2:9, Luke 16:16) through the NEW ADAM (Romans 5:12-21) Jesus Christ, NEW COVENANT (Luke 22:19), NEW LAW (John 13:34) and (Hebrews 4:7-9) "AGAIN, HE SETS A CERTAIN DAY" and "GOD WOULD NOT SPEAK LATER OF ANOTHER DAY"???
Acts 2:1. The Church (ONE BODY) was "born" on Pentecost being the "same day" the NEW ADAM Jesus Christ (ONE HEAD) was "reborn" on per Matthew 28:1.
Leviticus 23:15-21. What "day" is Pentecost "forever" celebrated on with a "day of rest"???
Please list out FULLY Leviticus 23:15 and tell me what "day" that is???,

Shelly Blanchard, You got that right.
The sabbath day in the old testament was to bring Israel to Christ Jesus.
Christ Jesus kept the sabbath day Himself, Thereby Christ Jesus fulfilled the sabbath day.
That now we Christians Rest in Christ Jesus and not on any day.
This why Christ Jesus said, come unto me and I will give you rest.
      Matthew 11:28.
Note in the book of Hebrews 4:8--"For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not Afterward have spoken of another day"
Note that Jesus never spoken of another day, Why Because we rest in Christ Jesus.
      Notice Verse's 9 & 10
Verse 9--"There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God"
This being Christ Jesus our rest.
Verse 10--" For he that entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His"
Note ( for he that entered into His rest) This being God's rest.
Note Verse 11--"Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest"
What rest ? Christ Jesus our rest.
No Where in all those Verse's above is the sabbath day mention of.
      Only to enter God's rest.
Therefore we rest in Christ Jesus.
      and not on any day.

Your Pastor still tries to keep the 7th advent doctrine. That is why he wants you keep the Sabbath day and not go to Jesus for rest. The rest day was a covenant for Israel not the Christain.

    • @nobodygoody2455
      @nobodygoody2455 7 лет назад

Linda Matos, that's right, Now which rest is that referring to?
Notice back at the time when Israel was in the desert wondering for 40 yrs, that Israel was keeping the seventh day sabbath rest. Even though Israel was keeping the seventh day sabbath rest, They still didn't know God's ways.
      Notice what God said in
      Hebrews 3:10,11
Verse 10--"wherewith I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart and they have not known my ways"
Now that's amazing, even though Israel was in the keeping the seventh day sabbath rest, they still didn't know Gods ways. That doesn't say much about those that keep the seventh day sabbath rest.Even though you may keep the seventh day sabbath rest, doesn't mean you know Gods ways, Israel kept the seventh day sabbath rest, but still didn't know God's ways.
Notice Verse 11 what God said here --"So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter my rest"
Now that's amazing, Israel was keeping the seventh day sabbath rest, but still God said they will not enter his rest.
Just because people keep the seventh day sabbath rest, does not mean they are entering God's rest.
As you can see and read Israel Even though Israel was keeping the seventh day sabbath rest, Israel still was not entering God's rest.
Notice what Christ Jesus said in the book of Matthew 11:28 --"Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"
Notice Christ Jesus did not say, he will give you seventh day sabbath rest, No Jesus said that he will give you rest.
Just because you keep the seventh day sabbath rest, does not mean that your entering God's rest.
Israel was keeping the seventh day sabbath rest, but Israel still wasn't entering God's rest.
Notice in Hebrews 4:5--"And in this place again, if they shall enter into my rest"
Therefore just because you keep the seventh day sabbath rest, doesn't mean your entering God's rest.
Notice Hebrews 4:8--"For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not Afterward have spoken of another day"
Jesus never spoken of another, Why, because we find our rest in God's rest.
Just because you keep the seventh day sabbath rest does not constitute that your entering God's rest.
Just like Israel was keeping the seventh day sabbath rest, but still was not entering God's rest.

When you fulfill a job you were sent to do it mean that job no longer exsist. You are wanting it to be like the sacrifices that happened once year under the old covenant. It never fulfill taking away the sin of the people it only fulfilled the covering of sins. When Jesus died the blood he shed took away the sins, thus fulfilled the propheies pertain to the old covenant. Like if you cook supper for yourself you have fulfilled that task. but you do every evening. Now under the new covenant the law didn't come up anymore for he said I will remember their sin and inquities no more. Jeremiah 31. The days are coming..
So if Jesus was to fulfill the law? it means that he doesn't remember our past sins , we are righteous under his grace, he is not bring up what we used to. now under the old covenant it wasn't that way. Our sins weren't abolished. That is what it means. Jesus hadn't fulfilled the law yet. Now he has. So he if didn't take it away you still have your sin. In Isaiah 1: 16 says come let us reason together though your sins be as scarlet they shal white as snow.
That is the fulfillment of Christ.

    Jeremiah 31:31-33 (KJV)
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a NEW covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

All that states is that the church is indeed modern Israel to me. And furthermore it states these laws, what laws? The laws of God.. Are written on our hearts and in our minds.
-All have sinner and fallen short.
-This means past and present, before the cross and after the cross.
-Sin is the transgression of the law.
-Can the evidence of sin ever be presented to me without a law.
-Then you mite say we are not under law but under grace. This is the truth.
-But don't mistake the meaning of under law.
-FOR the meaning of under law is the law of death which was the penalty for the breaking of the law.
The requirements for eternal life have always been complete and perfect obedience which we could not do.

Trouble about if you think keeping a day will save you trusting Jesus has more to do with than just keeping a day. Our rest is i Christ. We can keep a day to the lord but it doesn't have anything to do with Salvation.

+Shelly Blanchard It does have everything to do with salvation when one refuses to keep the law of God, sinning willfully against it, counting the blood of Christ as an unclean thing, there remains no more sacrifice for sin, but a fiery indignation which shall devour the adversary. (Hebrews 10) ----
Now for those who pick and choose which commandments to extract and which commandments to occasionally keep, that is between you and the one who will judge us in the last day.

I entirely agree with you that any attempt to keep the law of God after having broken it and been condemned to death is useless. Once sentenced to death for having sinned, there is nothing anyone can do or not do to lift that death penalty imposed upon us because of sin, for without question, the wages of sin is death.
Now as scripture explains and as I understand it, salvation from the death penalty brought upon us from sin is only pardoned by Christ; by his grace, thru our faith alone and not of works, because if we could work ourselves into being saved and receiving eternal life, then Christ surely died in vain.
The pivotal point after one repents from a life of SIN, which is what condemned us to death in the first place, is to live a life not after the sinful nature of the old man but after the sinless character of the one who saved us, and just as he told Mary Magdalene after he saved her from the death penalty looming above her for her adulterous transgressions, he tells her "your sins are forgiven; go and SIN NO MORE
And to the crippled man by the pool at Bethesda, whom he liberated from the disease which had kept him captive nearly 40 years:
"and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: SIN NO MORE, lest a worse thing come unto thee."
So does obedience to the law of God matter towards one's salvation AFTER one is saved? The word thru Romans 6 declares:
"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"
"But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you."
"Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness."
And the most chilling warning as declared by the word in Hebrews 10:
" For if we SIN WILLFULLY after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SIN,
"But a certain fearful looking for of JUDGMENT and FIERY INDIGNATION, which SHALL DEVOUR the adversaries."
"He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:"
"Of how much SORER PUNISHMENT, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath TRODDEN UNDER FOOT THE SON OF GOD, and hath COUNTED THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT, wherewith he was sanctified, AN UNHOLY THING, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"
Once God declares something as SIN, it is FOREVER SIN; and as many Christians refuse to accept, breaking any of God's commandments, and that would include the 4th, his holy 7th day sabbath, has been and always will be SIN. If one wishes to follow the heresy that the law of God, the ETERNAL COVENANT, the TEN COMMANDMENTS was changed, nailed to the cross abolished, fulfilled in Christ so no longer necessary to keep, are now just 2 generic commandments, or have adapted the "we are not under the law but under grace" mentality; will have to deal with the judgement as mentioned in Hebrews and other places, as to why we refused to obey God's law even after we were saved from the death penalty brought upon us for breaking said law of liberty in the first place.
Most Christians don't have a problem keeping at least most of the law of God, the 10 commandments. It is however very sad that most Christians today vehemently dismiss, deny and reject the 4th commandment, the 7th day Sabbath of the Lord, by what many claim is directed by Paul in his writings: Romans 14, Colossians 2, Ephesians 2, and a few instances in Acts where the disciples did something or anything considered to be spiritual on Sunday, the first day of the week.
How devastated Paul would be if he were to be raised up, only to see that 99% of the world's Christians transgress the 4th commandment, the 7th day Sabbath of the Lord continually, claiming that Paul thru his writings directed them so!
This heresy will continue to be perpetuated throughout Christianity until an in-depth, spirit filled study is made into the law and the prophets in order to make a clear distinction between the LAW OF MOSES and the ETERNAL COVENANT, the TEN COMMANDMENTS, leading to the clear understanding of what exactly Paul was referring to and what exactly comprised the blotting out of the handwritings, the law of commandments contained in ORDINANCES which were AGAINST US and CONTRARY TO US, thus nailing them to the cross.
It is impossible to know just how much of the Law of God do today's Christian reject, nailing whatever laws they choose to THEIR OWN CROSS, but primarily the 4th commandment, the 7th day sabbath which is consistently rejected by most Christians today.
This misunderstanding and misapplication of the writings of Paul with regards to the rejection of the 7th day sabbath of the Lord comes in clear contradiction with everything that is written in the Law and the Prophets, from Moses to Malachi.
Now if one no longer believes in the Law and the Prophets and discards or rejects the word of God from Moses to Malachi, it is of no surprise, the number of heresies added daily to the so called by name, Christian churches of today.
for well did ISAIAH PROPHESY of the churches in the last days:
"And in that day SEVEN WOMEN shall take hold of ONE MAN, saying, We will eat our OWN BREAD, and wear our OWN APPAREL: only LET US be CALLED BY THY NAME, to take away our reproach."
And again: (ISAIAH 29, MATTHEW 15):
"Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me WITH THEIR MOUTH and with THEIR LIPS DO HONOR ME, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is TAUGHT BY THE PRECEPT OF MEN"
"But in VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME, teaching for DOCTRINES the COMMANDMENTS OF MEN."

OEFVET Right. Thing about it is most people you can only do things at church. Our fellowship is everyday with god. That is what he wanted to with Israel they wouldn't.
Keeping a day will not save you. It only the blood of Jesus. The law was to keep us out of trouble. But now we a better high priest. We can go him anytime.

The word Sabbath means rest but has become synonymous for the day we all call Saturday, Mary , Joseph, Jeshua ..... And all the first Messianic Apostles practiced the Sabbath on Saturday, Not until Roman pagan-emperor Constantine in the AD 300's did decree that all hi subjects worship on sun. Including the pagan sun god with the risen lord Jeshua ,
GOD/Jeshua never said stop or change the day of rest and worship NEVER !!!!!

+Youthman Records: not quite. You are correct that the apostles and those who followed what they taught kept the Sabbath. Dr. Bacchiocchi has shown that the changeover took place around 135 AD when the Jews revolted yet again. It appears that the change took place primarirly in Rome and Alexandria, because two historians writing about the 5th century said that most Christians were STILL keeping the Sabbath in their day--except in Rome and Alexandria.

Better research your history and your Bible better. What "day" does the risen Jesus Christ "break bread" (see this in all "Last Supper" synoptic Gospel accounts) with the disciples in Luke 24:1-35 to "BECOME KNOWN" of the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19-20)???
What "same day" did the Early Church "break bread" of the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER in Acts 20:7???

There is only one place in the law where we can find the Seal of God. It is the fourth commandment,
A seal contains three things, the Name of God(Lord), His title(Creator), and His territory(heaven and earth), I am the Lord, your God, creator of heaven and earth.
The seal is a mark of hid authority, but the devil has a mark too, in revelation ch 9:4 the locust were given power and told not to harm those who receive Gods mark in their foreheads.
if u read the catechism of the Catholic church it states that the MARK of their authority over scripture is made evident by the changing of the Sabbath day observance to Sunday, even stating that protestants keep Sunday despite protestants saying the bible has the authority over the church.
Daniel 7:25 he shall think to change the set laws and times of God,
This along with many other descriptions are used to describe the Antichrist power in the end times,
It will also speak blasphemy, persecute the saints, rules for 1260 prophetic days/1260 actual years(538ad-1798) as well as many others which clearly point to the Catholic church,
The woman riding the beast wears purple, scarlet, and gold. The levites wore purple, scarlet, gold, and blue. We (church)are now priest of Gods kingdom .
The reason for the blue color worn by the priest was to be a reminder of the law BC the law way carved from a stone, the stone was carved from the throne of God , both ezekiel and Moses describe seeing the lord in a vision and describe a blue sapphire stone,
Thus the woman on top of the beast, clearly represents a church/state, that have forgotten the laws of God
In ezekiel 20:12 I gave them my Sabbath's... So they would know that I the Lord made them holy...
In ezekiel ch20:20 keep my Sabbath's holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then u will know that i am the Lord your God,

all I have to say is that those who disagree with what the bible says about the Sabbath or how those who kept the Sabbath during the dark ages were hunted down like animals need to understand and respect our views. like wise understanding why people keep Sunday. Adventist believe we are saved by grace by Christ's death to give us life. we also acknowledge that the commandments should ALL be kept. if God sanctified something He is not going to unsanctifie it. that's what we believe

I am in 7th grade which means i have tests ans home work and it is so stressful so on Saturdays its a day to just be with God and to commumicate and not be stressed. I recommend not going home after service is over there are so much more temptations. Tv. Kitchen. You can cook food. My biggest advice sleep. Sleep if you really dont want to break the Sabbath and your friend just offered you to take you out for lunch. Sleep if you have nothing else to do amd are rest less. Do everything for Him. Sing for Him speak in behalf of Him. Everything you do. Do it in the glory of God

Well done Michael. Mankind has thoroughly corrupted the Word of God, deluting it with the Word of Man. So many souls will be lost to God, not for evil acts, but due to a lack of knowledge, living and dying in ignorance of our Father's requirements. Our Father is Holy, we have to come un,to Him Holy, or least striving to be Holy due to the fact that we are flesh. No one in their right mind would allow unbathed, untrained, unfriendly, disease ridden pets in their house. Jesus was the Word, His way was His Fathers Way.. His obedience sanctified His Love of His Father. His reforms were aimed at the corrupt tradition of men that practised a whitewashed worship, who ignored God's Spiritual laws of righteousness, justice, and mercy, robbing the widows and persecuting the fatherless for their own gain. Their Way was of the World, not of th,e Spirit. They were of their father the devil, a liar and murderer from the beginning. Nothing changes under the Sun. Their will be a reckoning for the charlatans who teach falsely, enriching themselves while dooming their flocks. We cannot serve money and Our Father at the same time. The Way of God is not a part time commitment, and it's not a prosperity theology for worldly gain.
Jesus preached a Gospel proclaiming His Fathers coming Kingdom, as did the other Prophets. He taught us what we needed to do to attain God's Kingdom, He lived what He taught by His obedience to His Fathers Proclaimed Word, whose central tenets have NEVER CHANGED. GOD DOESNT MAKE MISTAKES, He cannot be defined by His creation. Keep fighting for Gods ,Truth , His Word to all of us.

Who do you think would of told us first? Christ. But it says nothing. So you will have to prove it was.

For those who don't know: After leaving the Church of God by Faith; I became a Seventh Day Adventist for about 6 years. I strongly believe the SDA doctrine is completely false. Just consider the name of the Church itself? Seventh Day Advent. Seventh Day refers to Saturday the Sabbath. Advent refers to the second coming of Christ. In their name they claim that Christ is coming back for those who keep the Sabbath. In other words According to them Salvation is only to those who keep the Sabbath. My question is: If Salvation is in Sabbath Keeping: Then why did Christ die on the Cross? If salvation is in Sabbath keeping then should Christ have skip the cross and told the Nation of Israel to continue their faithfulness in Sabbath Keeping, since they were already keeping the Sabbath faithfully anyway?

It would change the face of the New Testament or--there would be no New Testament. jamila Brown Hello, here's the quote: "When Christ was crucified it was His human nature that died. Diety did not sink and die, that would have been impossible." (Letter #250, 1904. Review and Herald 1882 article, "The Upward Look."
You will not find this heresy in the New Testament where Ellen White can quote any Apostle making this claim. She made it up. Are you going to ignore her claim that only a Man died on the cross? If you do then it is true what many say about Adventists, that Ellen White holds a position not only on the same level of Scripture but often times Adventists will accept what she teaches as more valid than Scripture.

The Jews claimed to follow the law but denied the Messiah. The modern
church claim to follow Jesus but deny his law. The law of God the Ten
Commandments tells us what sin is.
Paul explains this in Romans 7:7 I had not known sin but by the law. I
had not know lust except the law had said "Thou shalt not covet."
1 John 3:4 says "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law,for
sin is the transgression of the law."
Under the "New Covenant" what law does God write on the heart?
Jesus had to die as the sacrificial "Lamb of God which takes away the
sin of the world." It was the violation of Gods law that required his
death to restore man back to a position with God or be destroyed by
    rejecting it.
Jesus taught the spirit of the law not the letter only. Read Matthew
chapter 5. He said "you have heard it said "thou shalt not commit
adultery. BUT I SAY unto you whosoever looketh at a woman to lust after
    her is guilty of adultery."
Where is the law abolished? The sum total of all the law "hangs on love
God and love your neighbor" does it not? The first four deals with our
relationship to the Father. The last six deals with our relationship
with one another. Are you married? Would it be wrong for me to sleep
with your wife? Would it be wrong for me to kill your children? Is it
wrong for me to steal your car and lie to you and tell you I didn't do
it? Is this type of behaviour acceptable?
Most people have no problem with accepting a few of the Ten Commandments
they seem to object only on the issue of the Sabbath. The Jews
reverenced the law, the Romanists revere the cross." The cross is an
idol condemned under the second commandment as well as all their idols
    of all their dead saints.
God calls his people to come out of Babylon because Babylon is fallen is
fallen. That ye be not partakers of her sins and receive not of her
plagues." Sunday is the mark of authority of the Roman Catholic Church
and Bible teachings do not support the change in the law of God.
When I was born again God taught me personally, as he says he does to
everyone so that "men are without excuse." He taught me out of his law.
He taught me lessons that transformed my life and I was born again. I
went from violating God law to standing up for it.
I sir, have only started with the years of study I have done on the law
of God and the promises that he makes for writing them in our hearts.
If you need more clarification on the relevancy of Gods Holy Law that
converts the soul, the law of liberty that sets us free from the law of
sin and death, I would be happy to continue to share some more with you.
Like King David proclaim I love to do thy will oh my God yeah thy law
is within my heart," day and night I meditate upon his law." Psalms 1:1
    Do you have any questions?
The law tells us what sin is.
The violated law caused the death of Jesus.
Sin is the transgression of the law, the soul that sinneth it shall die.
Jesus restores us and saves us from the penalty of death from violating
his law. "There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who
walk not after the flesh but after the spirit." Jesus magnified the
spirit of the law not the letter the letter kills The spirit brings
life. We are condemned under the law of sin and death until we accept
Jesus who has paid the penalty for our sins and set us free from the
condemnation of the law of sin and death.
Do you need more evidence? Anyone?

+Steve Carter It is obvious that the New Testament is silent on the 7th day Sabbath command. Do you know why? Because the New Testament Church is not required to keep it just like the other Jewish festivals.
I have 4 points to show you that you can not teach 7th day Sabbath for the Church based on Scriptures. I used online resources as well.
      A)- Based on Colossians 2:16-17
a)- All Sabbatarians are taught by their pastors, the false argument that the Plural "sabbaton" in Col 2:16 cannot refer to weekly Sabbath day. But as we can clearly see, there are at least 5 other places where the plural is used of the weekly Sabbath. The deception is even worse, given the fact that while most Seventh-day Adventist pastors know about these other passages, they do not tell their people in the pews!
Matthew 28:1, "Now after the Sabbath" [Greek- plural: sabbaton]
Luke 4:16, "He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath" [Greek- plural: sabbaton]
Acts 16:13, "And on the Sabbath day" [Greek- plural: sabbaton]
Exodus 20:8 (in Septuagint) "Remember the Sabbath day" [Greek- plural: sabbaton]
Leviticus 23:37-38 (in Septuagint) "besides those of the Sabbaths of the Lord" [Greek- plural: sabbaton]
b)- One of the most stunning and irrefutable proofs that Col 2:16 must be the weekly Sabbath day, is the common "Year, Month, Week" pattern used in Col 2:16.
1Chronicles 23:31: fixed festivals, new moons, Sabbaths
2Chronicles 2:4: appointed feasts, new moons, Sabbaths
2Chronicles 8:13: annual feasts, new moons, Sabbaths
2Chronicles 31:3: fixed festivals, new moons, Sabbaths
Nehemiah 10:33: appointed times, new moon, Sabbaths
Isa 1:13-14: Appointed feasts, New moon, Sabbath
Ezekiel 45:17: appointed feasts, new moons, Sabbaths
Ezek 46:1-11: appointed feasts, new moons, Sabbath
Hosea 2:11: festal assemblies, new moons, Sabbaths.
Colossians 2:16: festival, new moon, Sabbath day
When God wanted to refer to the whole system of Jewish holy days, rather than name them all, He would refer to the yearly, monthly and weekly as representing the whole system. Sabbatarians argue that the Sabbath Day of Col 2:16 is the years Sabbaths. But yearly Sabbaths were already referred to in Col 2:16 as "festivals". The "Year, Month, Week" pattern is so well established in the Old Testament, that Col 2:16 must refer to the weekly Sabbath. Notice, even Gal 4:10, following this pattern, states the weekly Sabbath is abolished!
B)- The Sabbath was called holy time. Doesn’t it remain holy forever?
Not necessarily. In ancient Israel’s worship system, many things and places were holy. Firstborn animals and children were holy (Ex. 13:1-2), but they are not holy in the same way today. The Jubilee Year was holy, but it is not so today (Leviticus25:12 "For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields.")
Sabbatarians falsely teach that the Sabbath must be kept because God "blessed" or "hallowed" it. Adventists actually say, "Once God blesses something, it is blessed forever! But the Levitical priesthood: 2 Chron 35:3; Tabernacle: Ex 29:30-31; Ark of Covenant: 2 Chro 35:3; Passover: Ex 12:14-17; Day of atonement: Lev 23:27-32 were also "hallowed", yet Adventists agree they are abolished.
Seventh-day Adventists falsely argue that since the Sabbath day is called "Holy" therefore Christians must keep it. Yet all of the Jewish Holy Days like Passover: Ex 12:14-17 were called "holy". According to Adventist logic, they should be practicing all the Jewish holy days.
Sabbatarians falsely argue that the Sabbath is an eternal sign between God and his people and therefore we must keep the Sabbath today! The problem is that animal blood and circumcision are also spoken of as "eternal signs" between God and his People too! According to Adventist logic, circumcision and animal sacrifices should be practices along with the Sabbath.
The laws of holiness told the Jews how to worship God, and although we might think that worship laws telling us how to show love to God are the most important, the fact is that many of ancient Israel’s worship laws are now obsolete. God does not expect us to worship him in exactly the same way that the Israelites did.
      C)- ""Let's take a look at Hebrews4"""
Heb. 4:9 says that a Sabbath-rest still remains for believers today.
Hebrews 4 is talking about a future rest. People did not have this rest in Joshua’s day, nor when Psalm 95 was written (v. 8), so this chapter is not talking about the weekly Sabbath. This rest is entered by faith in Christ (v. 2). By using the word "Sabbath-rest," Hebrews is saying that the weekly Sabbath symbolized the real rest that God wants his people to enter. Just as the Levitical sacrifices symbolized the work of Christ, the weekly Sabbath pictured our final salvation. This symbolism says nothing about whether Christians should continue observing the symbols.
In one way, symbols are obsolete, but in another way, they are still required. Circumcision is a great example. Christians do not have to be physically circumcised (Rom. 2:29)-but we should be circumcised in the heart. We are to keep this ritual law, but we do so in the spirit, not the letter. In one sense, Christ has made the law obsolete; in another way, he has transformed it and still requires it in its transformed way. The same is true of the Levitical rituals: although we do not offer animal sacrifices, we are obedient to those laws when we have faith that Jesus Christ fulfilled those sacrifices. The requirement has been transformed.
In a similar way, since the Sabbath points toward our final salvation, and this salvation is in Christ, we are abiding by the purpose of the Sabbath command when we put our faith in Christ. It is in him that we find the rest that we need (Matt. 11:28-30). The requirement for rest has been transformed to focus on Christ rather than a day of the week. If we have faith in him, we are entering God’s rest and we are therefore keeping the spiritual intent of the Sabbath.
      D)- Based on Romans14:2-4
In Christianity, every day may be treated alike.
In Romans 14, Paul writes that some Christians consider "one day more sacred than another," whereas other Christians consider "every day alike." In the Roman church, partly composed of Jews and partly composed of Gentiles, it is obvious what kind of days might be considered sacred.
But Paul says, "Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind." In other words, he is saying that it is permissible for a Christian to think that every day is alike! He did not feel any need to explain that one day of the week should be considered different. He was quite content for Christians to consider them all the same. His concern here, as it was in Colossians, was that Christians should not judge one another about their different customs (v. 4).
Paul was indifferent about the question of days-and the only reason that he could be indifferent about it, was that he considered the Sabbath command to be obsolete. If Christians work on the Sabbath, we are not to judge them or call them wrong, because they are not wrong. The Sabbath command does not apply.
First-century Jews did not think that the Sabbath applied to Gentiles, anyway. Paul would have had an uphill battle if he had wanted to teach otherwise. The reason that Paul could be so indifferent about days, that he could tell people not to judge one another about them, is that they were not commanded.

+belojo2003 I can teach the seventh day sabbath because I trust in Jesus Christ and the law that he died to preserve the spirit of that law. The New Testament is not silent on the sabbath. The Jews kept the sabbath and continued to do so at least 40 years after his death. The Jewish festivals have nothing to do with the weekly seventh day sabbath that was instituted at creation as a day of rest from our work. Nearly every book in the New Testament mentions, or quotes from the law that condemned the sinner to death. That is the purpose of the law to show us our sinful condition in contrast to Gods plan for all of mankind. You are saying the law is null and void because we don't have to follow it anymore. Would you feel the same way if your wife or children were raped and murdered? What law tells us that these things are wrong? What law under the new covenant gets written in our hearts?

+belojo2003 Without spending much time with your comments I have read most of it. To take each point and discuss in print would be a most difficult and time consuming task and to what avail? So you can disagree with and state that Gods Holy Ten Commandments are no longer holy? When Isaiah states that Jesus would "magnify the law and make it honorable" You go ahead and follow what you believe because no matter what anyone tries to help you understand if you are closed minded to it then how will you hear? We share the truth on the sabbath as we believe. I don't speak for the SDA church, I speak from the conviction in my heart from what God has personally taught me out of his law. The law was not done away with. Think about it. The sinners of today are they condemned to death for rejecting Jesus? What is sin? The bible tells us that "sin is the transgression of the law." I don't preach the sabbath in an effort to convict anyone of sin that's for the Spirit to contend with. My duty to God is to share the blessings that I have found by following God through Jesus Christ within the bounds and protective covering of his grace that gives us the strength to abide by all of his commandments. It s a pleasure to have sabbath to rest from our work. Once my job was on the line over not working on the sabbath. God sustained his law for around 6 years in my experience. I wasn't even converted at the time but I knew from the way God had lead me that the sabbath was true based on not only what the church teaches but from my own personal studies.
I left the Adventist church for ten years. I was ANGRY and it only got worse. I was so angry I wanted to kill people. I was an alcoholic, drug and sex addict. Ten years after my father died, after returning to my sins, I met Jesus Christ. He taught me out of his law and I became born again and my whole life changed. My gf was removed from my life,THANK GOD, so was alcohol and pot. Miraculously gone, no more desire for it. I was even delivered from sexual addictions that haunted me since I was 13. He has taught me lesson after lesson out of his law. In case you didn't know most people agree with nine of the Ten Commandments. It is strange how the only one people object to is the sabbath. You can't break them up, "if you are guilty of one you are guilty of all." Doesn't the Scriptures teach this?
Jesus was asked "what must I do to inherit eternal life." He replied "keep the commandments," to which he was asked "which?" He listed some of the Ten Commandments because the Jews revered the law and the Christian church reveres the Cross. Paul fought against the Christians not over the sabbath but because he wasn't converted. If you disregard the law "even your prayers are abomination."
I am not a mainstream Seventh Day Adventist. But I am in agreement with them on the sabbath. If you would like to talk some time I would be willing to chat with you on Skype, not to argue and convince not to listen to you tell me that I am wrong but we can take one issue at a time you can share your view I will share mine and we can reach a unity on truth or we separate in conclusion.

What do You call, Jewish Festivals? In Leviticus 23 as well as several other Books the 7th Day Sabbath is mentioned. Let's go with Leviticus 23 for starters. ARE the remainder of those SabbathS mentioned in Leviticus 23, Jewish? IF SO, HOW IS IT that the 7th Day Sabbath mentioned in Leviticus 23 IS NOT JEWISH? HOW is the 7th Day Sabbath NOT JEWISH IF THE REST OF WHAT God SAYS TO REMEMBER AND KEEP/OBSERVE/OBEY IS JEWISH? Thanking You in advance for your reply.

Paul please read this with an open mind and heart. This is only a small portion of my experience in what I have learned. I hope and pray you enjoy it. It was written from my heart.
The sabbath was given at creation not to the Jews. It was a practice of Gods people. Were the Children of Israel Jews when they were brought out to Egypt? The Jews were God chosen people for the salvation of man. Their mission was to carry the gospel to the world. They rejected Jesus as the Messiah and murdered him and accepted a false Jesus in his place. The sabbath was later taught to the children of Israel by Moses when they reached the valley of Sin. Before the law was ever given to Moses on Mt. Sinai. They were told to collect the manna, a given amount for the needs of their families, every day. On the six day, "the day of preparation" they were to gather twice as much so there would be no work and the people could rest on the sabbath. What did they do? They went out to gather the manna anyway and Moses was rebuked for it when God asked him in Exodus " 16:28 " And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse YE to keep my commandments and my laws?" Moses was their leader he had to assume the responsibility for the people.
Were they Jews? They were the Children of Israel. Were Adam and Eve Jewish? Was Moses Jewish? Was Abraham Jewish? The way I see they weren't. Were the Children of Israel that died without crossing over into the promised land because of unbelief Jews? They all died except for TWO people. After wandering in the wilderness for forty years because of UNBELIEF!! We have evidence of this in the Old Testament.
This fact is also addressed in Hebrews chapter 4. It actually starts in chapter 3:27 "With who was he grieved for forty years? [was it] not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
It was unbelief that caused their death, they refused to enter into his rest.
Chapter four goes on to say " 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh [day] on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
4:5 And in this [place] again, If they shall enter into my rest.
4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
THEY ENTERED NOT INTO GODS REST BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF. That's what it says. They all died before entering the promised land.
The sabbath was made for man. If the sabbath was to end "would he not have spoken of a different day?" see verse 8.
If the sabbath is no long valid how do you explain the next verse? This is stated in context of the unbelief of the Children of Isreal not entering into Gods rest that he gave us at Creation. "From the foundation of the world."
4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
Brother I hope you can see the truth on this. I have changed the way I handle myself during such debates. When I was a young man I didn't handle them so well because I didn't know Jesus. I don't know him in fullness yet but that's where sanctification comes in.
Is the sabbath just a Jewish tradition that Jesus was rebuked for breaking, and is now ended or has Satan made it to appear that way to "deceive the whole world." Satan hates Gods law because it condemns him.
There is a separation in my mind with the festivals because they didn't come to be for some other point in time. The sabbath was given at creation. Maybe I am wrong with what I said. I don't focus on the feast days. I believe they have been fulfilled possibly, with the death of Jesus just as the ceremonial laws of the sacrificial system. But the sabbath was never designed to last for only a given period of time. I don't find any scriptural evidence to even suggest it. Jesus was "Lord of the sabbath." Yes he was given to the Jews because they were God chosen people. Their city and the temple were destroyed at the stoning of Stephen at the rise of Paul when the gospel was to go to the gentiles. This was 40 years after the death of Jesus, they were still keeping the sabbath because they revered the law. They prided themselves on that fact but they didn't recognize or accept the Messiah of the law. The ceremonial system that pointed to him. "The Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world."
Do I go on? There is much more on this subject. Almost every book of the New Testament mentions the law in some fashion. You can't escape it. I meditate on it as David says. "I love to meditate on your law. Day and night I meditate on it. By faith the Spirit of Jesus guides me into deep thoughts and lessons regarding the law. Every evil thing you see should tell you the law is still in place because it condemns the sinner to death. Once he is condemned he is in need of a Saviour. This is how I became born again. I was a thief. The Holy Spirit of the Lord spoke to me one day and told me "Everything you have planned and anything you will plan all leads to death and there is only one way out, that is through Jesus Christ." He teaches me out of his law. "The law of the Lord is PERFECT converting the soul." Just try to enter into his rest and see how hard your carnal nature fights against it. I've known about the sabbath for over 30 years and I have yet to enter his rest because of my unbelief. Only through Jesus can I so train my mind to "bring every thought into captivity" to Christ who died for me because I am a guilty law breaker and in need of a Saviour. The sabbath is a special time because I am covered to escape the world and give 24 hours to the devotion and service to our Creator; It is best spent in nature. May God bless the reading of his word as we praise him for his wonderful works. I haven't even touched the righteousness side of the law. The just shall live by faith, faith without works is dead. I was dead in the church for 19 years brother and I left it, turned my back on God but I really never knew him before I was "born again." "The life I now live I live by faith in him that died for me so that I, (a sinner,) may have life and have it more abundantly." His law is written within my heart and it is in my mind. The sabbath lives on just as Jesus does because it lives in me and through Jesus I may one day by faith fulfill the righteous requirements as Jesus did, so I may enter into the promised land, by faith in Him.

What's even dumber is that anyone would believe that self-professed SDA's were the only ones that attained salvation after their inception, just because someone alleged so.
State where in the Sabbath video or where in the established doctrinal beliefs of the SDA church does it state that only SDA's are / have been saved because of some work they do / have done
Here's some clarification for you to fact check: For the believing SDA, salvation from the DEATH PENALTY for having TRANSGRESSED God's law, is only attained as a free gift by the GRACE of God, accepted thru faith in his atoning sacrifice. The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob has taken unto himself the death penalty incurred by the whole world for having transgressed his LAW, putting us under GRACE before the Father and not under the DEATH PENALTY of the LAW, this is how we (as sinners) can ALL thru Christ, now be under GRACE and not under the (death penalty of) the LAW.
Some here have declared the error that salvation for the Israelite was by works (assumed because God was so adamant of them keeping the 10 commandments under penalty of death) To the surprise of many, SALVATION from the death penalty for sin has ALWAYS BEEN BY GRACE thru faith ALONE.
God did not devise one works oriented plan of salvation for the Israelite and one of grace thru faith for the gentile/new covenant Christian. if one assumes this error, actually read and study Moses to Malachi and re-read/study Matthew thru Revelation to actually discover the TRUTH.
Now if one wants to subscribe to the heresy that we no longer have to keep part or all of God's 10 commandments because of grace, or because one or all commandments were shadows, only to be kept by Israelites or [insert heresy of choice here regarding the 10 commandment and its abolishment, fulfillment, not applicable to new covenant Christians, immunity for gentiles from keeping the law because of grace...]
There is a reason why REPENTANCE (an acknowledgement an TURNING AWAY from SIN) was established as a key factor in one's salvation all throughout the word of God. "Your sins are forgiven, go and sin no more", "your sins are forgiven, go and sin no more lest a worse thing come upon you" Once a sinner is saved by GRACE thru FAITH he should adopt a life of obedience and a turning away from what got him to be under the death penalty because of SIN in the first place.
As unacceptable as it may be to the majority of the Christian world, violation/transgression of the 4th commandment was, is and will continue to be a sin. God has NEVER declared something a sin for one people and made it not sinful for another. It is so displeasing for God to have saved his children from the the death penalty because of their transgressions, only to have them live a life of sin by breaking one or all the commandments because of [ insert heresy of choice here]
If one only believes Paul, the man's writings who many new covenant Christians claim supersedes all that is written in the law and the prophets, yet refuse to accept the stern warning given in Hebrews 10:
"For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"
"but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries."
"He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:"
"Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worth, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the spirit of grace?"

The whole world kept Saturday as the Sabbath since the beginning of creation(read Genesis). People kept all Gods commandments until Rome ruled the world and in 321 A.D. when the roman govener decided to change the ten commandments. The SDA church is a remnant of the original church of Christ who keep all the ten commandments including the fourth. We don't keep the commandments to be saved but out of a love relationship with God because he has offered his saving grace to us. He says "If you love me keep my commandments". So we do.

Amen, well said. I keep the Sabbath because I'm saved, not to be saved. That and the Sabbath is the special sign of allegiance between God's obedient people and our Creator... I pledge allegiance to The Lamb! Satan hates the Sabbath and tries to get people to observe his counterfeit, but as long as he can get you to sin in any one respect, he beats you. Only by staying fixed upon Christ will we withstand the devices of the Adversary.

Not all protestants observed the 7th day but kept God's commandments with the best available light received; truth is though that Rome changed Sabbath to Sunday centuries before the Reformation. But God has always had a Sabbath-keeping REMNANT, and while SDA's are associated with that Remnant many will bend to the coming Sunday Law because they were sloppy in their obedience to God's commandments. I pray that as few people as possible are lost when the shaking time commences. But for all those that are lost and get the Mark of the Beast, many will come OUT OF BABYLON and be saved! Either way, now is the time to prepare

Since there are 7 days in the week, this verse should clearly show that the First day of the week came AFTER the 7th DAY!! I do not know what You want explained.

We are to enter his rest, every day by knowing him, not believing but knowing. Having a relationship is what we are to strive for, only then do we enter that rest.

I affirm with Scripture that "there remains a sabbath rest for the people of God" (Heb.4:9b) and that we should "strive to enter that rest" (Heb.4:11a. I also affirm that this day of rest has been re-defined in the New Covenant (no, its not cged to Sunday!). Instead of the 7th day sabbath given to Israel, "He (God) appoints a certain day,"Today" (Heb.4:7a). The day one enters rest in the New Covenant is not the 7th day of the week, but TODAY.
Matt.11:28,29 Come unto Me and I will give you rest.

I've got a few words of encouragement in the midst of what's going on. It might sound wierd, it is for real and I thought it would be important to say it.
Its long because I've tried to and any faqs!
Hopefully this will answer some of those nagging questions -
Why can't evil be forgiven and let off, how is the whole "Jesus dying" thing really relevant to anything? To you? if you still have any questions let me know x
Ever struggle? Ever doubt that God Loves You After what you've done? Ever wonder if He exists for that matter? Read this:
All of us have lied, stolen (even tiny things count), spoken badly to our parents and had embarrassing and detestable thoughts in our thought life. The Bible calls this "sin", the breaking of God's laws. You might think, so what? Everyone lies and thinks bad things about others! Its human!
You're right. That's exactly what the Bible says, we're "born into sin" and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23
What is that "glory", morally speaking?
Well, the opposite of human nature and desires.
Not lying, not stealing, and having a perfect thought life is God's standard for us.
But if its God's standard and we were made in "God's image", Why don't we meet it?
Well, Remember Adam and Eve and when they sinned. Before sin they were perfect in thought word and DEED completely, but after the first sin occured due to Satan's tempting in the Garden, it destroyed that part of us that was morally perfect and in perfect harmony with God's morals, standard, and love. So while we kept certain things, the ability to be thinking individuals with unique personalities, the moral part (affecting how our thoughts, actions and personalities operate) was damaged. To the point where we are "opposed" to God, hence His nature and standards being the opposite of what we see as reasonable or possible. The Bible even makes it clear that "apart from God you can do nothing" - John 15:5. Without Him, it will 100% feel "opposite", unreasonable and alien to us. Only WITH Him can we gain victory in these things.
Why doesn't God just let sin off and leave it?
The Bible describes God as a "righteous judge", many wonder why God doesn't just let sin off and leave it, but He can't. Why? That's like a if a judge let off a
murderer who broke the state law. Everyone would attack that judge and call Him corrupt, saying that he had not done right and should be fired for failing to punish the murderer for his evil. AND to completely love and be good as God is, means you need to, in turn, hate all forms of evil. You can't truly love good unless you hate the existence of evil.
This means that God needed, as a righteous judge to punish sin with the ultimate penalty of death - expressing His hatred of evil - and separation from His presence forever. Hence Hell.
"The soul that sins shall die (in Hell and suffer damnation)" - Ezekiel 18:20
But God, who is also love, did not want to see His creation tortured and cut off from Him. He cares so much for is that He couldn't bear to see us fall into Satans hands and suffer death, even though we broke the law and deserve to bear the guilt, pain and be cut off from perfection forever through damnation.
Because of justice, God could not leave sin and evil unpunished, BUT because of LOVE, God provided someone else to take that punishment on our behalf, satisfying both justice (by punishing the evil committed), and love (by sparing OUR lives) despite our sin.
God sent His own SON - think about that. His *Son*, the one whom He loved infinitely (the same way He loves us).
God allowed Him to take the pain we deserved, He took ALL of Gods wrath for every single sin you and I have committed. He was punished brutally and completely as if He was the picture of mankind's sin itself so that we do not have to be punished.
Back in the courtroom scenario: He paid the "fine" at His own expense (His life had to be morally perfect on this Earth, then He had to be killed as a sinless sacrifice on our behalf).
So when He returns to remove all evil from the face of the Earth, we can be spared and free because Christ has already BEEN punished on our behalf. He then rose again on the third day, conquering not only life and sin and temptation, but DEATH.
"I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (immortally and eternally in Heaven when I return)" - John 11:25-26
ALL we have to do is accept it by faith. Faith alone in Christ alone.
Religion = rules to be saved
The gospel = Christ saved us already we just have to believe it by faith. If you lack faith (as I did before), pray. He will make it strong it time. Trust Him as you would trust those close to you. He knows you even better than that. He created you and knows you inside out.
    ...WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
What does it actually mean for us?
It means we can be completely free from the penalty of damnation.
Not only that but we can be restored to Him and recreated into His moral image AGAIN as long as we accept Jesus having paid the price for us and accept Him as our Lord, the one who is in the front seat of our lives. He has a plan for your life, He's created you for a purpose. Just remember that. A purpose that includes being recreated into His image, one you can only accomplish through Him and reliance on His power and by following HIS way of life.
What is this new way entail?
It entails love, true love and service and aid to others, to "love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength" and "love your neighbour as you love yourself" Matthew 22:37, 39.
Sharing the message of Christ's death, resurrection and soon return on this Earth to give justice OR mercy depending on what the person chose.
    Sound "opposite" again?
God knows it sounds opposite, which is why, as The Bible states, this is NOT something we can do alone. It's not in our nature.
We need a new nature in the front seat, and the first step is to repent (turn from and reject our sin, pursuing the opposite direction and drawing close to God)
Christ will give us an actual DESIRE to do these things. Through the, Holy Spirit, sent by Him to us after the ascension. He speaks to us through thoughts, verses, ideas and prayers and guides us so that we gain a desire to follow God and be able to do these "opposite" things through Him.
    ...
What is the way FOR though?
Firstly its to save you from sin - the only way to gain victory over sin and not have it as your master is through having Christ as your master and following His aid to resist the devil's temptations.
Christ lived down here for 33 years suffering EVERY FORM of temptation that you have ever faced - "who in every respect [has] been tempted as we are, yet without sin" Hebrews 4:15.
Therefore He is able to help us through our struggles. When the devil knows people have left his camp, he always tries harder with more temptations and evil attacks. BUT - His way is also there to guard and teach you daily in the midst of this (and despite this) sinful, selfish world.
The path He wants you to walk is one of committment and love - its not about rules and regulations to save us - what Christ did GAVE us salvation. All we need is faith. The rest, the "fruits of good works (the will to obey and follow Him)", are what come through true, maturing faith. It's all about faith and the relationship God wants with you just like before sin arrived.
God preferred His own Son to be tortured And *killed* to give a chance to us (who broke His law of perfection) so that we can live as His children again. He wants us to love and trust and worship Him.
What if I still find myself sinning after I have accepted Christ?
That's why Christ died, For our sin. His death doesn't fix us in a snap like that, but it does protect us from the damnation that our past, present and future sins would bring without Jesus.
It's a process - a lifelong process - of God bringing you back to Him, away from the destructive pleasures of sin (greed, selfish temptations, trampling on people to gain). This takes a *lifetime*, as it does for all, but NEVER give up, when you fall, know Christ paid for that sin you committed already - just acknowledge your sin and ask for forgiveness - and you can get back up again because He already bore your guilt and shame.
Regardless of the darkness you are in or the extent or frequency of the sins you have committed or will commit, regardless of how doubtful you may feel, know that Jesus UNDERSTANDS completely and He is faithful.
"those who come to Me, I will by no means cast out" - John 6:37
    ...HOW DO I LEARN MORE?
    Don't know where to start?
Note down the Gospel of "John", or "Luke" (if you want a more detailed account of it all).
Remember that He will "NEVER - and that means never - leave you, NOR forsake you" - Deuteronomy 31:6
Regardless of what goes on down here, God knows, Jesus has been down here and felt all the emotions you are feeling. You can go to Him with them and be assured that He loves you and is for you.
Even in the storm, God is still there, walking on the water alongside you.
Keep your heart open to Him and remember that if we pray for Christ to enter our lives, He will.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whomever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life". - John 3:16
Thanks for reading if you did. I just felt that I should tell you regardless. Let me know if you have any more or if you need clarification on anything xx

Rob you don't have to shut off your power or water on the Sabbath. Its primarily a day of rest which SDA christians use to have have fellowship (church). The rest is from all worldly stuff like TV or other secular stuff that will take your interest and focus away from heavenly things. Think of it as you are having a date with God, your primary focus on the Sabbath would be to focus on him and rest from the hustle of the other 6 days of the week. Hope this explanation helps. God Bless!!

    Remember the admonition of Paul:
Therefore do not let anyone judge you in eating or drinking or in respect of a feast or of a new moon or of Sabbaths – which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. (Colossians 2.16-17)
No one can tell other Christians that they must keep the Sabbath, the Old Testament feasts or the dietary laws. Everyone who does that is sinning and they will have loss of reward for doing that. No Christian needs to keep the Sabbath, the feasts or the diet

    • @EvangelistEvan
      @EvangelistEvan 9 лет назад +1

Col 2:16-17 is referring to the yearly ceremonial Sabbaths and feast days, not referring to the weekly Sabbath of the Lord. It refers only to the Sabbaths which were "a shadow of things to come" v17, and not to the seventh-day Sabbath.
All those who quote Col 2:16-17 to support the weekly Sabbath as abolished do not realise, or is IGNORANT of the fact that there were seven yearly holy days, or holidays, in ancient Israel which were also called sabbaths. These were in addition to, or "beside the sabbaths of the Lord" (Leviticus 23:38), or seventh-day Sabbath.
These all foreshadowed, or pointed to, the cross and ended at the cross. Yahweh's seventh-day Sabbath was made before sin entered, and therefore could foreshadow nothing about deliverance from sin. That's why Colossians chapter 2 differentiates and specifically mentions the sabbaths that were "a shadow." These seven yearly sabbaths which were abolished are listed in Leviticus chapter 23 and were part of the abolished ceremonial law, and not the eternal Moral Law-10 Commandments.
Verse 17 is saying that the sabbath days referred to in verse 16 were "shadows" of things to come. So what does that mean? The yearly ceremonial sabbaths that the Jews observed in connection with the Temple or Sanctuary were prophetic in nature. Every year the Jews were acting out the plan of salvation as demonstrated by the Temple ceremonies. The whole process was designed as a play of sorts, to explain to everyone the exact sequence of events in Yahweh's plan to redeem mankind. The focus of this plan, of course, is Jesus Christ in his role as the Lamb of Yahweh, as well as his role of High Priest or Mediator between Yahweh the Father and humanity.
So get educated before you start teaching deceit and ignorant doctrines!

Since the Reformation, there have been in every generation witnesses for God to uphold the standard of the ancient Sabbath. Though often in the midst of reproach and persecution, a constant testimony has been borne to this truth. Since 1844, in fulfillment of the prophecy of the third angel’s message, the attention of the world has been called to the true Sabbath, and a constantly increasing number are returning to the observance of God’s holy day. 4SP 286.2

This is the newest comment, all the other's are years old, and so this one day old comment I am addressing,,,,, since the reformation,,,1844,,,,,, the SDA denomination has taken it to their glory that they are the author of Saturday as the Sabbath,,, however, Saturday was kept as a seventh day Sabbath,in hiding,,, way before this nation was established,,,in this nation,,it was the seventh day Baptist that first kept Saturday,,,,, however,,,it makes no difference about who or when they worshipped the Sabbath on Saturday,, because they were all wrong, for the programming of their minds began before the birth of Jesus,,,,an evil man thought to change times and law's, God's reckoning of time and law,,,,,, show me in the Bible where it literally says that SATURDAY IS THE SABBATH,,,,,OR, SUNDAY OR MONDAY OR TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY OR FRIDAY,, OR,, EVEN BY ASSOCIATION THE NUMBERS ONE,,, THROUGH SEVEN UNDER THE NAME'S OF THE DAYS OF THE WEEK,,,, BY ASSOCIATION, THESE DAYS ARE OF THE MOUTH PIECE OF THE AUTHOR OF THE CALENDAR OF PAGANISM AND IT'S FALSE SYSTEM OF FALSE gods,,,,, God's reckoning of time began for Man on the day after God blessed and hallowed the seventh day Sabbath of His choosing,,, not any man's choice,, but the beast,Rome, took it upon themselves to change times and law's, God's reckoning of time is His creation not man's,,,,,it was this changing of God's reckoning of time and law,,, that brought Jesus Christ, to come direct God's people back to their first love,,,,if you will follow Jesus Christ, then keep the commandments of God especially the Sabbath of His choosing,,,if there's a scripture that shows you, how that Mary and her son Jesus Christ, found their Sabbaths, this should open your mind and eyes to how and when you can keep that Certain day, that Paul spoke of in the book of Hebrews,,,,, Revelation 12 verse's 1 and 2,,,, There appeared a great wonder in Heaven,,, where is this heaven,, Genesis chapter 1, the second thing God created was the firmament and God called it Heaven wherein all things were created including Mary and Jesus and you and I ,,,,, there appeared a great wonder in Heaven, a woman, clothed with the sun, and the moon under her (Mary) feet,,, it's how she finds her days,, and she being with child, travailing, and pained to be delivered,,,, pained to bring forth the Head of Christianity and she and Jesus Christ found their Sabbaths by the four weeks of light ordinances of the moon,, it's God's reckoning of time, and every woman on earth, has, built inside of her, the reckoning of time, God's WAY,,,her menstrual cycle and the light of the moon, both work exactly at the same rate of time 3.57, percent each day for two weeks and then for two weeks God lessens the light and the woman's cycle works exactly like this,,, and, in between each month, of the moon and the woman, is a day of renewal, that pushes His and her next month forward by one day every month,,,,,,, Isaiah 66 vs 23 and it shall come to pass, that from one new moon day to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come and worship before me, saith the Lord,,, this is a 28, day month with one day in between each month called the new moon, also a holy day,,,, don't be kept in the darkness by pastors,, here is where all of Christianity is at now stuck in spiritual Babylon,, come out of her God's people,,, what your doing is,, Isaiah 66 vs 17, they that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves, in the gardens behind one tree (their pastor)in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination (Saturday or any other day of the calendar), and the mouse,,,,, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord,,,,,,,,,, Saturday is not the seal of God,,, the devil has blinded your minds,,,, people of the world are lost, Jesus won't even pray for you,nor your name will he remember unto Father,,,, wake up Zion,,, sound the alarm,,,, Satan is in your house.

As Christians we don't seek truth by reading the bible and letting the Lord show us. we depend on man and in doing that we miss out on what the Lord has for us.
