Nice! This was November 25, 2018 when Dany, the guitarrist was 18, Pau, the drummer was 16, and Ale, the bassist was 13. Dany’s guitar was a Rick Toone Spearfish mahogany. Ale’s bass is a Spector Rachel Bolan Euro IV. They all started with piano lessons and later lessons on each of their instruments. Dany had voice lessons. Their teachers played with them in their Mexico City concert last month.

The Warning don't know the meaning of "Copy/Paste". They change up their sound from verse to verse and chorus to chorus just enough to keep their music interesting and fresh. The girls all started their music adventure very young all starting out on piano and moving on to their respective instruments after getting addicted to the video game Rock Band. None of the sisters are self taught, Pau had a very hard time finding an instructor because she was so tiny when she started out at age 7. Fun fact, they had just recently done a two night sold out concert in Mexico City and had Pau's drum teacher join them for their song Narcisista (a gripping and rocking tune that is basically a middle finger to all their Mexican critics that derided them for, up until that point only wrote songs in English) and Ale's bass teacher for their new song 23. Dany was fortunately enough to have been sponsored by Rick Toone Luthier and was given two custom Spearfish guitars that retail starting out at $7500 but after her mods ring in at close to $15000. They are very special in that the neck is detachable for travel and made of aluminum being ultra light and ultra thin, two very important feature for the very slight Daniela. Bot Dany and Ale are sponsored by Orange Amps. Ale is the first Mexican and youngest artist ever to be endorsed by Spector Bass, earning that honour by the sweet young age of 15. Ale now plays a custom built and designed bass she calls Inferno that she chose everything from the finish to electronics. It was built to be extra light because although she is the tallest of the three she is still very slight.
Pau in addition to playing drums and singing lead for a couple songs also runs Ableton Live from her laptop she has mounted on her drum rack and triggers with a couple Roland foot pedals. Ableton Live is used to control the click track, the STEMS for backing tracks, Dany's pedal board and the video display they usually use during their shows. That she is self taught and programs all of The Warnings shows. Pau plays DW Drums and Sabian Cymbals and uses Vic Firth Sticks.

I guess you could say Pau (drummer) is self-taught if you count when she started playing on the Rock Band video game. She had a teacher when she started real drum lessons when she was around 6 or so. Fun fact: she was rejected by some teachers because she was so small, but her first teacher recognized her potential.
    Enjoyed your reaction! 👍😎

Many times when they open for other bands they open their set with this song. I think that's a brilliant move, because it immediately alerts the folks who are just waiting for the headliner that something different is going on that they need to pay attention to.
Not self taught, but they all work very hard at improving their craft. This is a relatively older video. If you watch more recent videos, you will see that while she still pounds hell out of the drums, she has definitely refined her technique and made little changes in her kit setup such as cymbal placement.

Great performance! In the beginning Pau's voice sounds a little strained but it clears up as the song goes on. They are not self-taught. Pau started drum lessons when she was six after they became obsessed with the video game Rock Band. Their dad sensed a natural rhythmic talent and got her into drumming lessons right away. They had already been taking classical piano practically since they were able to walk. Dany started guitar at 8 and also plays saxophone (but hasn't for quite a while.). Ale chose the bass before it occurred to them that they had all the makings of a band and started playing together at that point. They did lots of covers but soon were challenged by their their guitar and bass teacher to start writing their own songs as an exercise. Approximately 8 years later they have three incredible albums of original material and they are still very young, 22, 20 and 17. They are the real deal, smart, extremely hard working, and some of the nicest people you could meet. You'll get plenty of suggestions. Thanks for checking them out.

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 17) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to RUclips for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. This was recorded live in June 2019 at Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - ruclips.net/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/видео.html
The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, RUclips and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City. This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on RUclips and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021.
In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song...
On May 21 2021 they released the single "Choke" to critical acclaim ruclips.net/video/TlOy0XbFVlM/видео.html . Followed by a new release roughly every month through to Sept.
On October 8th, 2021, The Warning released six songs that were recorded for the new album on an EP titled Mayday with the remaining 6 songs to be released at a later date.
Starting on the 18th of Feburary 2022 The Warning started out on their previously twice cancelled North American Mayday Tour. Their forst show was on Saltillo Mx followed by a short set openning for Mammoth WVH in Las Vegas, NV and another short set opening for Sammy Hagar in Austin Tx at the SXSW Festival. In Mexico City on March 18, The Warning got to open

Where to go from here? A difficult question with so many great songs to listen to.
You just reacted to Dust to Dust, which is the prologue to their Queen of The Murder Scene LP, a fantastic conceptual album. You could go ahead and react to it in order, so you can go through the very dark and beautiful story. The Lunario concert is your best option.
Another option is to work through their latest album, Error, of which you already reacted to Evolve. On that one, I recommend Choke, Error, Disciple ... wait! All of them are excellent. Just be careful with the official videos because those will be savagely blocked. Some of the songs have excellent live session videos.

Welcome to the Rabbit Hole! They have made 4 albums in the past 6 years. Their 3rd Album - “MAYDAY” dropped July 2021. Their latest album “ERROR” released this month of July 2022 with 7 new songs, three of which are titled “REVENANT,” “BREATHE” and “AMOUR.”
Per Metallica: The songs on the BLACKLIST ALBUM are not intended to be "covers", but a re-imagining of the songs as a tribute to the 30th anniversary of the Black album. To create their own rendition. Metallica approached Alessia Cara.
She has the same management agency as The Warning and they suggested a collaboration. Metallica asked them TO NOT DO a straight cover. They shot the video in an abandoned textile mill outside Monterrey, Mexico. Already, an incredible reimagined classic! A rock masterpiece!

In that same year, they were invited to open for legendary rock bands Aerosmith, Def Leppard, and Alice Cooper at the Mother of All Rock Festival at the Forum Arena Monterrey.[20] In April 2018, they opened for The Killers at Arena Monterrey. Sing along to ‘DULL KNIVES’. A few years later, others had mentioned they should open for Halestorm. During a Pandemic live stream concert with multiple bands, Lizzy Hale saw them and was so impressed she asked them to tour with her.

Congratulations! Prior to the LP ‘ERROR’, the EP released with three new songs: ‘Animosity’-’ Disciple’ - and ‘Z’ making it a total of six banging songs. The Foo Fighters asked The Warning to open for them (again in Mexico) and continue touring with them thereafter. The video ’MONEY’ (now at 1.2 million views), was a result of their first day with The Foo Fighters performing in a stadium of 50K fans.
Unfortunately, the Foo Fighters drummer died one week later. Instead, The Warning is currently touring with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless. Metallica expects The Warning to fancy a few dates opening for them as well.
The Warning along with Alessia Cara (R&B/Pop) is on Metallica’s just dropped ‘Blacklist' album which was released September 10th, 2021. ‘ENTER SANDMAN’ by The Warning which is the first song on the album. The result is an EPIC reinvention of an iconic song done in The Warning style! 5 days later, it had over half a million views! They meant it when Dany said “Music is passion. Music is hope, Music is life!” as speakers when they also performed at the TED Conference.
THE WARNING collaborated with Alessia to come up with their own creative version of Enter Sandman, as Metallica asked them to do! Alessia Cara is a Canadian Grammy-winning POP/R&B singer/songwriter. with 4 Grammy’s and many Hit Songs. Thus, the first hit off of the ‘Blacklist Album’ to drop - ENTER SANDMAN!
They are from Monterey, Mexico, and have been playing as a band since 2013.Their first video from their basement, known as ‘The Cave’, was THE PRETENDER by the FOO FIGHTERS 6 years ago, at the ages of 9, 12, and 14, winning many accolades, which is now at 2.6M views.
In the year 2021, at ages of 16, 19, and 21, they appeared on the Ellen show. Then played and sold out the stage at the Whisky a GoGo a few times, both days each time. plus the House of Blues, both venues in Hollywood. Their cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" (Official Music Video) from The Metallica Blacklist Album premiered Sep 9, 2021 and currently has 2.3 million views.
Ale is a very accomplished bass player and has a signature line of bass guitars from her sponsor Spector Guitars US (Not bad for 16 years old!). Pau is a world-class drummer (at 19) and Dany is not far behind in her guitar abilities. All girls are extremely passionate about music and do not cut corners on anything.
They were completely fan-funded and independent, but after 7 months of negotiating, in October of 2020, they signed with Lava/Republic Records (only after negotiating to keep much of their independence).
Patreons are their biggest Fan/Supporters from every corner of the world! Also, RAVE REVIEWS from the Media. Example RUclips response of the Warning Army’s 'Enter Sandman' on the BlackList Album:
“Thanks to the collaboration from the Warning & Alessia Cara, this song has been reborn into a masterpiece of an old classic by Metallica.”
“The video itself is a vision of genius, all the vocals were amazing and gripping.”
“I can't speak for Metallica, but I'm pretty sure they are proud of this one. Surreal. Eerie. Haunting. That's all I can say about this great reinterpretation of this iconic song.”
“Pau gives me the creeps when she says the prayer. no wonder this is the #1 Blacklist song on ApplePlay I think the Warning's version of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara was one of if not the best covers on this album. The creativity of those ladies is genius. They made it their own and it's what Metallica wanted from all these artists. Perfect choice for the 1st track.”

They originally started by playing the game Rockband, learning the instruments used in the game. Pau had a natural talent for the drums and took those while Dany took guitar, when Ale was old enough she decided she wanted the bass, she didn't know what it was but she wanted to play it. Their parents then got them professional instructors to teach them and the rest is history. They were all classically trained on the piano from an very young age first though.

If your still wanting LIVE performances, choose anything from the recent August 26th/29th 2022 CDMX shows at the Metropolitan. The 2nd show on the 29th, has a really cool high energy Narcisita version with Pau taking the vocal Frontwoman lead, while her past teacher Beto Ramos, slams on her kit. 🤯

This song and this performance of it is one of my favorite songs period! There's a saying that your favorite The Warning song is the last one you heard, and it is very much true! If you want to watch another great live performance by them, watch their TEDx concert (3 songs), when they were I believe 16, 14, and 12 at the time. The last song, Survive, is particularly exceptional and one of the songs that got many of their fans hooked on the band. Pau is just absolutely wailing on her kit and actually breaks a stick at the beginning of Survive. I really love how animated and brutal she is on the drums! It's an amazing performance by such young talented girls. The Warning are truly something else! ruclips.net/video/pj5ue3M-v6o/видео.html

Pau was plagued by mic issues in a lot of the older shows. You can barely hear her much of the time. Or it cuts out entirely. Or the pop suppressor falls off. Or the mic falls off entirely. A couple of the shows, I think all their IEMs failed. With videos of their recent US tour, it's fun, because you can watch them work the bugs out of their live show in real time. By the end of the tour they sounded perfect, and looked like the confident, badass rockstars that they are. Also I think they hired real techs that aren't protective relatives who want to feel involved.

Try, Sinister Smiles. Best song (if their really is one) on the album. When I listen to "Queen of the Murder Scene" for the first time, I really have not heard a supreme rock album like this scene Guns' n Roses first album came out.

Doubt the self taught. Ale plays bass without a pick and Pau’s drumming is reminiscent of The Who’s Kieth Moon, full of attitude and very precise too.

I’m not sure if this is a question or a statement; if it’s a statement I agree, music today is very subjective to everyone’s ear and perspective.
For me? I watch anything I’m requested. I haven’t done a ton of artists that I listen to on my own time, but that doesn’t mean I dislike what I’ve watched. If I didn’t like something I would, and have said it!

    PUT THIS PLAYLIST IN ORDER, P L E A S E 😢
Apparently you don't care about new subs for your channel that don't want to watch you react to a song Only to hear you refer to a prior song you did and see that it's farther down in the Playlist. How about number you reactions then so we know what order to watch them in 🤷‍♂️
