l0ckcr4ck3r Thank you. It was always a mystery for me how they until I got one to play with. It's a very interresting idea to have two keys for the same core for different functions - I really like that.
Texas Jim Thank you Jim. I've heared that there a special tension wrenches to force a control-pick. I found that one: www.crypto.com/photos/misc/sfic/torque.html Maybe your give it a try with a such a tool.
hey potti, hate to ask, as you have already did so much for me by sending me that last package, but do you still have this best lock? or any other sfic locks? do you have any plans for it? im not sure if i told you but i was asked by some police and firemen in my area how sfic locks work, and if i could demo one for them.. (my mom works at the police dept. and her boyfriend is a fireman) ive been trying to get my hands on one, but have not had much luck... besides getting one with no keys.. and i cant get it picked to control to get it out of its housing :/ if you would be interested in maybe selling it i would love to know.. you can send me a private msg
I'm sorry mate. I still have the padlock from the video and also have a 7 pin SFIC. But I'm not yet done with them - meaning I have not yet taken my time to fully explore them and learned to pick them to control and operating. So I want to keep them ;-) You could contact Jeff Moss (ruclips.net/user/jeffmoss26) - he always has a lot of also such kind of locks.
Nice explanation of how an SFIC works.

Frank Best was a genius to come up with that interchangeable core design!
Great raking and explanation of the lock.
Aspie Pickerr Thank you.
Great stuff Michael. Good explanation my friend.
slim_pickins Thanks a lot Bryan.
Another great video as usual and very nice lock.
waddac2 Thank you. Yes a very nice lock and toy for me to play.
I just started learning how to pick. I got one of these and i just look at it and it pops open.
I have one that willonly opn or rake to open, never to control. Great work.

Thanks
That was some slick raking!
Yeah, thanks for checking out this old video.
What rake did you use?? Please share
Brilliant video as always!
richardwales Thank you Rick!
Great job, the T series keyways are fun!
I do that. I can open a lock at first, then I loose all ability to get it open. I'll set it aside and come back later and figure it out.
Yes, good strategy.
great video
Jerry Welch Thank you.
