Wouldn't it be to " do no harm?" Hurt noone not even the self? I also seriously suspect we would judge ourselves , we all have our own moral compass and if we are healthy it would lead us in the right direction. Morality is also about the time we live in !
@@finallyfinally9317 But what does doing no harm means? If my intention was not to do harm but my actions resulted in hurting people, was I still morally right? When eating a burger, a seemingly innocuous act but does that imply that I don't care about the life of the animal that was killed in the process? Was I morally right? We have our own moral compass. @linus arvalt From my limited understanding, embracing nothingness means acknowledging that there is no inherent meaning in everything, that everything is *just is* but we tend to perceive differently because we are meaning-making machines. *Notice morality in the animal kingdom?* Why would you rely on my judgment on which action is morally right or not? *I am a nobody and not qualified to judge.* That's why I follow the nothingness videos because I wanted to know more from Dr in the first place. 😅
@linus arvalt There are many home videos which show pets helping each other. For example--an adopted stray cat that acted as the eyes for an old blind dog. It's well known that elephants grieve over a death. There is a viral video from the state of Kerala in India that shows one monkey resuscitating another after electrocution--and the process lasted for over a quarter of an hour. Whether or not this is morality, I don't know, but it seems to point to altruism
I’m an atheist Mr Vaknin. I would say God has no will if we label him as all good or all evil. Good and Evil refer to actions and this means the agent has free will and is not all good or all evil but an agent of choice who acts either good or evil but cannot be all good or all evil because this would entail a lacking in free will.
Hi Sam, I ask for help in a very serious case of narcissistic control over the famous pop star Britney Spears. Since 2008 she has been held in a guardianship system by her father and a businesswoman who recommended this decision. The problem is that he completely controls her life, she has no personal and financial freedom, her whole family appears to just consume and suck her money. I ask you to study the case, as it is extremely serious what happens to her, there is a great deal of manipulation with false psychiatric reports, drugs for mental control and etc.
Also to have meaning does not necessitate a god. Aristotle based his teleos on properties and function in what primarily distinguishes one entity from another when similarities are in common
We can’t fathom the mind of god but we would have to assume god exists. But then how do we know god exists? All the arguments for the existence of god fail due to contradictions when tested against reality, concept of identity and the method of integration of material through the senses. If god is not material fundamentally then one can not prove god’s existence. Every concept although an abstract is founded on material substance
And how to become a better person....just emracing nothingness will help...embracing bothingness means not identifying your self wuth anything. This is an age old indian philosophy
Wow !!!!! I'm addicted to this information . Becoming God

This is why we can't have nice things.
😂
we are limited entities who would never understand god, if one even exists 😎👍
Such an interesting and fresh approach that psychology offers here to the idea of God and the figure of Jesus. Thank you Sam! Love from Spain.
Thank you all the best
Very Interesting topic. Thank you 🙏

Wow this is amazing insight
Thanks Sam
I have a definition of God that can be explained and understood yet feels like something went wrong in it's explanation.
Sam do you believe in free will? I would appreciate your point of view about this
Dr. Vaknin what do you think of Adler's theory of Social Interest?
Sam, I came to realize that God is Time, therefore Time is Everything. Do you agree?
Time isn’t linear
