After all, when Ifrit appears we don't see Clive again for the remainder of the battle between Phoenix & the Eikon of Fire. Of course, I could be wrong. But knowing who worked on this game I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was indeed Clive who transformed and lost control.

While he does love Joshua a lot, there must be a lot of pent up anger due to being shunned to become the next Phoenix and the whispers and shunning that followed (especially from his mother). The Crystal probably skipped him to be Phoenix because he already was Ifrit at that point. But the question is how?

Anyone who has played FF14, knows that yoshi p will have done what he can to make this game as good as can be, and also, you just know the music throughout the entire game is gonna be insane with Soken as the composer, he is a legend!

Maybe Call of Duty is more your thing? It’s probably for the best because we don’t really like people in our community with attitudes like that

Looks like this is a epic mix between Jill and Hugo _(from the tidbits we have)_ respective themes. How fitting! The game really started with a bang, showing right off the bat how powerful and terrifying Eikons can be :).
Pretty sure it's a combination of Shiva's and Titan's theme. The part with the lady singing is Shiva's. The next part is a combination of both themes, with the male vocal representing Titan with Shiva's melody played on the horns in the background, then Titan on his own after the drop.
I cried when I heard the strings from FFXII played at parts here. Giving me vibes from Battle With an Esper. I was like "Soken, YOU MADLAD! YOU REALLY JUST USED THE SAME FFXII STRING CRUCENDO?!"
Btw, has anyone bother to mention that this shiva is one of the prettiest shiva design through the whole series? Best shiva design was in Dissidia NT. Not anymore now that we get to see FFXVI shiva.

Every. Single. Fucking. Time I listen to this masterpiece I get goosebumps. Best Final Fantasy to come out since X. I went in actually expecting to hate the game after the fuck up of Strangers of Paradise. But god damn I love everything about this game.
I don’t know why but listening to this music reminded me of who I thought was the true hero of the demo. I know this will sound like a joke but the true hero of the demo to me was Ambrosia the chocobo. The way she runs in, grabs Clive and throws him to safety was probably the best bit and that’s saying something. I just like seeing animals doing heroic things. Clive would have died if it wasn’t for Ambrosia saving his life , that’s why I feel Ambrosia was the true hero of the demo. It really sucked that she died straight after though. If we can name our chocobo’s I want to name mine Ambrosia in honour of the heroic chocobo.
Best we have so far is a play through with no commentary. There’s a big channel that has it if search easy to find. I love that ost too cause it has the prelude. Edit: MKIceandfire is the channel that has a play through with no commentary.
Yes, in the previous games, they were known as summons who you could call into battle but could not control. In this game, you could play as them and fight them and they have a bigger role in the story
