The store wil be 260,000 square feet, which is about 25 percent bigger than the average Wal-Mart supercenter. That's a lot of ... well it's a lot more of ... everything so we show you guys how really huge this store....

I live in Albany, and that is the last Walmart I will go to. The escalator is broken as much as a McDonalds ice cream machine, they have less than your typical WalMart (just really spread out), and it is ALWAYS crazy busy. And its dirty. Very dirty.

I worked at that store as a janitor. That store was nuts. The escalator was a disaster. It broke down 7 times a day, and I had to keep paging my coworkers for it. I left cuz something happened to me and they penalized me for going to the ER. The charade we were encouraged to put on for our customers every day was just that, a charade. I left that store for the one closer to my home. Ugh. The memories. I hate going to that store because of the trauma.

The largest Walmart in the USA comes close with 260 000 sq feet in Albany, NY.
I was born and raised in this area. Here. And I missed this behemoth. Go figure...😄 Next time I go back ...

This is the biggest Walmart because one level used to be Sam's club. It didn't do enough business so Sam's closed then was decided to make it all one big walmart. I am from Albany. Even though they closed the store they had to pay rent so they figured they can just make it all walmart.

All I want to know is if this about a Walmart in Albany, why is the entire opening montage Amsterdam? Going north on Church street is not only 45 minutes away from Albany, but in the wrong direction. I have never been more weirded out (Lived two blocks from the yellow house) and confused by a video.
