    Psalm 19
    For the director of music. A psalm of David.
    1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
    2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.

    Psalm 8
    For the director of music. According to gittith. A psalm of David.
    1 Lord, our Lord,
    how majestic is your name in all the earth!
    You have set your glory
    in the heavens.
    2 Through the praise of children and infants
    you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
    to silence the foe and the avenger.
    3 When I consider your heavens,
    the work of your fingers,
    the moon and the stars,
    which you have set in place,
    4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
    human beings that you care for them?

      Newton should have spent more time studying Genesis. Newton obviously rejected Genesis and formed his own ideas based on pagan sun God worship. The Heliocentric model of the cosmos came directly from paganism. The Bible itself is entirely geocentric. Newton should studied what God showed Moses. Newton was just plain mistaken on Heliocentric model of the earth or willfully rejected Genesis and many passages on scripture.

      @@Psalm1101 Newton was a nominal believer at best. His views on Christianity were somewhat heretical as well. If Trinity College and Cambridge knew what they were Newton would have lost his position there. Newton was completely wrong on some things. Modern theologians and Christians have desperately tried for 200 years to reconcile the views of Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Newton and others to the Bible specifically to the Genesis account and have failed miserably. Newton was also NOT a prophet nor had ANY understanding of anything of that nature. RUclips vids don't equate truth. Some have desperately tried to rewrite history to hide the real truth of God and the Genesis account. I choose to believe God and the Genesis account over mere men that looked up in the sky and made things up.

    Newton made solid, rational arguments for the existence of God, and was perhaps the greatest scientist to ever live. Certainly he was at the very least one of the greatest. But his theology and views of scripture were miserable, and he rejected the Trinity and other basic Christian doctrines

Matin Luther the great reformer also stated that Copernicus was completely in error because what he said and propagated concerning his heliocentric views were in complete contrast to the Holy Scriptures. Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Newton, were all wrong because they each built their beliefs on "opinions and assumptions" that were not Biblical nor even provable. All of them REJECTED the Genesis account of creation and other passages of scripture and chose their own views. Interesting. If you had continued this mythical conversation between Newton and his "agnostic friend," I wonder if you would have gotten around to the part where Newton (without so much as a gram of persuasive reasoning) convinced his friend that the Trinity did not exist. I wonder if you would have mentioned the part where the agnostic was suddenly overcome with Newton's argumentation on why Christians should reject John 1:1 -
    In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
    because Sir Isaac Newton was an Arian who did not believe Jesus pre-existed his carnal form. And after all of that, I wonder if you would have mentioned that this conversation between Newton and his un-named "agnostic friend" is in fact entirely fictional.
    You also didn't pronounce "Principia" correctly.

    Too simplistic. Did Newton know about the antiquity of the earth? The model shown is beautiful but it was developed from millennia of cosmic human history eg the origin of the elements making up the model, the mining and processing, manufacturing and assembly of the materials and the concept formulation of the solar model (his). Contrast this with the enormous timescale and natural selection process which we, today, have only a limited understanding. The natural and man made design processes are not trhe same. No need to invoke the supernatural.
