Marss fully understand how to play steve better than most steve players purely based off him vs acola.
It's actually amazing how Marss perfectly understands why Acolas option works compared to other steve players.
The fact WaDi played this good makes me think that he's not actually WaDi, and that he's just a lizard wearing WaDi's skin.
That makes a lot more sense actually.

at the beginning when you said jake could’ve down aired he had no iron and i think that was the case for most of the match. wadi applied great pressure the whole match
That's the difference between acola and other steve players. Resource management.
Players think building into camping is the best way to get resource and Marss pointed out something important.
Use the blocks as bait to win exchanges and then you have time to mine resources from a Bair or fair.
That's why Acola steve, though the most aggressive, has the best resource management.
4:53 pretty sure the starting frames of side B froze Jake long enough for the laser to hit him
Think it says a lot about Steve to nearly make top 8 at a major while playing at maybe 30% of the skill level as acola. I’m salty on Jake throwing fits at legit every tourney when he loses on his broken ass character tho ngl so maybe i have bias.

Honestly I don’t really care that Jake plays Steve and then throws fits, gets salty, or rages at most tourneys he attends, I find it more annoying that Jake just does that shit in general regardless of him being a Steve player

I mean, if you play your ass off and actually hold forward all the time and you’re putting in the work then i’d honestly understand getting tilted losing.
But if you’re playing a cringy character in the most cringiest way(not that there is any way to not play Cringe with Steve) then you don’t have any rights to get salty about a loss.

just wanna say this cause i think everyone who plays a console game competetively should know this. those box controls are life savers if you have something wrong with your hands rather it be arthritis or what have you so don't give up playing games you love because it hurts your hands there are other options that can help you

@@shoopymicro I'll respect it, GGs. I actually felt betrayed by Sparg0 fans the first time I played Cloud (randoms money matches) I've never felt more undeserving lol. Stupid fast, early kills and I went to Fair for a combo and found out it spiked last stock. Never felt so dirty for winning by playing the game lol. Guy I beat was tilted AF. He was at the time a former top 5 player in Ohio, went to YSU together. (Not sure if he is now, but this was back in February when we played).
