    The Tripp Trapp has a lot of hype behind it, but is it truly worth it? This is a review and my experience with having the Tripp Trapp for almost 10 months. High chairs are a big investment and a important decision. My hope is that this is helpful for you when you go to make your decision on what highchair fits your family the best.
    Our son is 9 months old and we just had to adjust the Tripp Trapp for the first time. It was very easy and simple and the quality of the highchair has maintained

    I just bought this chair on Facebook market for $20, looks a little tired but solidly built. I’m planning on painting on it to look good as new. It’s already 15 years old!

    I put the backrest and leave straps connected in the top shelf of dishwasher. Works a treat and comes out sparkly clean and dries quickly

    Great video, thanks for sharing what it takes to thoroughly clean the chair, which was one of my biggest concerns. Appreciate the level of detail that you shared with us. Your baby is adorable!

    I was able to take the straps out of the back easily by feeding that folded excess that keeps it in , in thru the hole first. Great video thank you! I’m glad I got this chair.

    Thanks for posting, very informative! I'm thinking of getting this for our first kid for the same reasons. Might as well get a chair that you can use for a long time. Plus here in Scandinavia its really easy to get a hold of. Did you consider the Nomi chair and if so why did you end on the Tripp Trapp? Also do you know the name of the color on yours? Kind regards from Norway!

    Nice video man, I like how you put it together. Did you ever try letting him sit at the table instead of using the tray? Thinking of getting one, but not sure if I need the tray.

    How easy is it to put the baby in and take him out? Does it scratch the thighs when you try to take the baby out? I'm a bit hesitant about that hard plastic baby seat.

    • @BecomingTheFords
      @BecomingTheFords  Год назад +1

      That is a REALLY good question!! It is head for me to say because I can’t compare it to any other one BUT it can be hard to put him in sometimes. It is usually from him moving his legs all the time tho. Over all I’d say it is not that bad. If we don’t buckle him in he stands up by himself in the chair

  • @Neil_MacGregor

    I purchased one of these on the basis of so many positive reviews. Have to say for such an expense - I am disgusted by the design & function of the harness straps. For the price, I would have expected to at least have compression style buckles (like a carrier or backpack) on the shoulder straps. Adjusting these straps (which you will be doing alot as your little one grows) is extreemly difficult, gawd aweful fiddly and cannot be done with your kid in the seat. Definately the quality is not worth the price.

    It looks like the tray doesn't work without the child harness piece. Is that accurate? 🤔

    • @BecomingTheFords
      @BecomingTheFords  3 месяца назад

      I’m a little confused on the question, can you clarify?

    • @CuriousAndCuriouser1865
      @CuriousAndCuriouser1865 3 месяца назад

      @@BecomingTheFords The part that looks like a toddler swing at a park, the part that they put their legs into, if you remove that part of the setup, it looks like the tray has nowhere to attach to. Is that accurate?
      In other words, once the child is too big to fit in that part of the set up, it's no longer usable as a high chair with a tray, but simply a high chair that can only be used at a table. Is that correct?
      If so, At what age do you believe a toddler will grow out of this? Thanks!
