Should my 8th grader send emails out? She will be playing in upcoming national qualifiers.

Yes. They won't be allowed to respond to her, so prepare her for that disappointment, but that's when she should start. They have to ignore you until June 15th after her sophomore year but you could get on their radar. Make them specific to each school, create an email for her that includes her name, position, graduation date, etc and ONLY use that for emailing coaches. What you'll find is her name will end up in databases and get camp invitations from coaches that have no idea who she is but tailored to look real. Separate from that crap at the beginning. We also created a file for each school to help keep them/emails organized. Every email that went out and every one that came back.
