got a 7 seater. agree that adults should not sit back there. however one of my sons who is in elementary school can easily sit back there. One trick we use is that we fold the seat next to him which makes the 3rd row space less claustrophobic as well as improve air flow. And my other 3 kids all take the middle row. Good option for a family of 6 with small kids
Announced today that 7 seater in USA is now just $1000 if you get non-base color option (white is $1000). So $2000 not bad value ? Just asking as am considering
tired of cliche-ish complaint over and over, the rear seats are tiny yes, but people start their family with babies and little child, they will be fine, in fact my kids particularly like the back row
why model X for 7 ? 1/ It only fit 6 2/ Back seat also small and clearance almost the same. 3/if you use the same argument on third row unsafe due to the rear ended accident seems too much then it should apply the same for model X because the distance to the rear is almost the same
Fair question, but the Model X does have a 7 seater option and they are 10x more comfortable, than the Model Y! Safety is still a concern, but there are no other Teslas with 7 seat options.

Why not seat 2 on each row with the middle seat flat? Seems like in and outgressi also way easier with kids.
It basically just comes in handy if you have a small commute with extra passengers
