Spirit Blossom Ahri is a very cool skin, but IIRC the only super unique legendary thing it has (besides animations and voicelines obviously) is the homeguard and the ult, whereas this new Ahri skin has the turret kill effects, the special emote, the HUD, two transformations... Still a stupid ass deal and no one should buy it, but it objectively has more features than Spirit Blossom.
@@Yoshyguy21 I don't consider those like the emote or tower thingy to be part of the skin. The base skin (5krp or so) does not have all those things and the 2 giga expensive ones I kinda feel like those are "extra" features idk (obviously not the transformation part). I also meant it in the model, spirtiblossom model has waaaay more detail than the faker one (it literally has a cheap ass outfit and a black shadow instead of panties!! and the tails look like slugs) + spiritblossom has 2 new transformation model form while the faker skin is just a recolor when she ults

I get that there’s only so much you can do to revamp “Champion On Fire” as a concept, but it baffles me how little they seem to have even tried. Like, in what way are these not just classic Infernal skins??? A real shame after Fright Night was a such a home run.

Winterblessed brand may actually work though. They just need to actually try. He could even be the aurora champion there( to give him the legendary and revamp voicelines).
(This comes from someone living in a tropical country, and this someone bases their whole winter ideas around what disney movies and the likes have shown). When i think of winter, besides the obvious snow, i also think of a little chimney and all that. They can start working around brand not as a destructive fire, but a cozy one instead.

There's only ever been one cool human infernal skin and its akali, and I'm forever angry that the artistic direction they took was never implemented on future infernal skins
She looks like some feiry djinn, some air of elegance despite the inherent danger of fire
And then every skin after that just looks like it could be called Ashburn, Soldier of Hell regardless of body shape
Nae, even Akali sucks. The splashart is good but it's basically false advertising compared to the in game skin, which is awful.
Everytime I think of the Infernal skins, I think of that one Solidjj video of the Fantastic 4 and Johnny screaming in pain as he’s on fire.
That is one of his best he's ever made, prove me wrong.
Don't worry Nickyboi, I'm sure Riot will let those in the League Partner Program get the $500 Ahri skin for review purposes easily. :)

This Karma and Ashe skin was the best thing to ever happen, They get these stinkers and Fiddlesticks was spared to be graced by Bloodmoon

@@nox_killah i mean, it could be an interesting exercise since a lot of people agree that infernal is just "champ on fire" but never really explore or sugest what infernal can be so thats what i believe could be interesting :D maybe as a collab with other channels like tbskyen since they have explored the concept of champions and skins before
I think Infernal isn't just a theme you can slap on any champion. While not the most exciting concept, I don't think it's bad - unless you put it on a visibly human champion. Then it can quickly just become "champion, but orange" - see Infernal Diana or Wildfire Zyra. And this time, it was 3 human champions who just became orange.
they could have done a fright night type thing with these skins, like a slightly different idea based on the infernal skins. like idk, hell demons or volcanic spirits or something

i actually like the infernal skins... but i think they could go more for the aproach they did on tristana, fizz and vi. those are really nice infernal skins.
Infernal Galio will forever be my favorite of the skinline. He looks so monstrous and especially with that green chroma MAN

ok, hear me out, we had the ashen skins with pyke, morde and shen (I dont count panths epic chroma).
They should have revamped this into a datksoulsy skinline too, but instead of all the ashem things you've seen in ashen and the souls games, show us the interpretation of the age of flame for once. Sure, it would still be bright red with gold, but with that they could even have forged infernal and arclight into the new revamped skinline.
Going into this video judging from the art who the skins belonged to, I figured it was
Syndra(ashe) Ornn(Olaf) and Kayle (Karma)
If Ashen Lord ASol, Infernal Vel'Koz and the grandpa of the skinline Infernal Nasus, taught me anything is that this concept actually _can_ produce interesting skins but they just literally don't bother to even try.
This skinline could easily be so cool. It just needs two things: 1. To be given to champions who can use the aestetic well and 2. To have some effort put in to create something that isn't just fire character in black armor. Although they aren't perfect, Vel'Koz, Karthus and Aurelion Sol have really good Infernal skins (whether it be partial effects or aspects of the skin themselves). It's a shame then that they chose the champs they did (although yeah, Olaf works with it the other do not).
They didn't have to make a poll deciding which one to redo. Like are they just saying that we'll only have the one revamped skinline and the rest just get to be the same slop? What's stopping them from changing it if they already know the players hate it?
Honestly at this point we gotta make Nicky the Skin Designer for LoL before it gets worse

I actually kind of like the olaf skin. It's simple but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a solid model and solid effects

Regardless of what you guys could think, i say that Infernal Shen and Galio are some of the best in there (not counting Aurelion and Nasus clearly tho), specially with how their chromas interact with them
Honestly, I think they should just start using different colors of fire, like having a sett with his right arm burning blue for example.

They look good, I don't want them to improve their quality, their concept is literally "Fire" and nothing else and that is fine. Now if you argue over that saying: "Oh but we could have gotten a better set of skins :(" I won't argue. But there should be "Low quality" skins to make good skins shine even brighter, and that is infernal skins in my eyes. They don't look bad, it is just that they are very mediocre compered to today's skins.

Honestly Olaf is the only one I would ever consider using, even among all the previous ones, BECAUSE they made him a lot more orange. The dark metal plating on everyone else breaks it up too much and undercuts the fire thematic to me.
Im still so sad about, Infernal olaf. I was really hoping for a heavy armored counter part of dragonslayer. Because personally i like More armor>everything else. when it comes to appearance

you know when they want to doit this skinline Again they should focus more in monster champion ,wouldnt be interesting if they do for zac ? it would be molten zac or something , at least at monster champ it wouldnt be more obvious that the champs skins are more like the default skin but on fire

Aside from Porcelain, Ashen Lord Aurelion has the best ult of all of Asol's skins.
The mushroom cloud after the nuke, with the other small meteors falling alongside the huge one, it really feels like you're ending a fucking planet, it's so climactic.
The idea of him being the final boss of the infernals and the splashart showing him in absolute delight of the utter apocalipse he had just brought after reducing another world to a lifeless, smoldering pile of ash floating in the cosmos. It's so good and honestly one of the best release skins they ever made.
And therefore also the ONLY interesting Infernal skin ever....

Am I weird in thinking that it’s weird they didn’t make a Zed skin to commemorate Faker, at least over Leblanc? I’ll fully admit that I really don’t follow the competitive scene closely at all, and am aware that Ahri is an iconic Faker pick, but when I think of Faker, the first thing I think of is “Look at the cleanse, look at the moves!”

I dont play league but I don't see a problem with these skins though, typical fire skins from a fire themed skinline.
