soo.. has it always been broken or does anyone got a performance benefit
turning this on made the performance worse on my 5900x
Were the SMT labels swapped by accident? You seem to have lower CPU utilisation with "SMT OFF", when it should be higher, due to logical cores being cut in half.
on my 7800X3D it legit gave me a boost of 10+FPS turning it off.
I have the same processor and this graphics card. I get 45-50 fps in the city. Do you think a better processor will maintain 60 fps?
Ofc ......cpu is the main issue here
@@pcgamingbench which ryzen would be suitable for cyberpunk?
@@xDawidW 5600x would be good.....3600 will also be fine for this game if we have frame generation in this game but sadly it isn't available rightnow
So i guess 1% just got a little bit better but overall not a big difference, so in the city ryzen 5 3600 will still struggle keeping 60 fps
He's GPU bottlenecked here. Look at utilization of both CPU and GPU. GPU is 90%+ all the time and CPU at 50-60%. SMT is for CPU bottleneck situation
The saddest thing when it comes to AMD is this makes me love my 10900k even more lol 💀 especially it's a God bin
Comparing ryzen 5 with i9 is kinda unfair
The hell with that comparison lol 😂😂😂
LOL?
You must be lying to yourself. I came to AMD from an 8700K and 9900K (which I still have) to a 5600X, then 7700X, and now 7800X3D+4090. AMD is the way forward versus those space heater Intels for gaming. For productivity Intel is better, but let's be honest, we're gamers.
at least the ryzen 5 can be upgraded to a 5700X or 5800X3D that will whoop the i9's ass
