I am also in love with this song. Ever since stanning sb19 , I have learned to appreciate and love this music genre. In terms of relatability, i think they use alcohol here as an example of how people deal with their problems but they could have used other examples of what crutches people use a lot of them self destructive to forget or numb pain or problems. However, the song is really saying that any of these kinds of vices or actions are only temporary and won’t heal or solve what is missing or going on within. So yeah it is really relatable. Pablo and yes his brother are really unbelievably talented

The way they used wordplay in this song is amazing. Like you said, Akala mean assumption or belief. Alak means liquor. So together they mean “I believed or thought alcohol”… plus the lyrics after that mean “would erase my problems)”. It isn’t an ode to booze or getting drunk. If anything, the message is the opposite. Gotta love Pablo and Josue! ❤
