SB19 is the youth ambassador of NCCA (Natl Commission for Culture and Arts) in the Phils that is why whenever they are outside the country, they always visit Phil Embassy to give honor. This is the first music festival they attended outside the country. Big or small stage they always give their best.

Hi, Ričards! 🙂 You asked what was going on in the early part of the vlog, when the lads paid a courtesy visit to the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta. In 2021, SB19 were chosen and named as Youth Ambassadors of the NCCA (National Commission for Culture and the Arts), which is the Philippines' official arts council/agency. SB19 had also been appointed as ambassadors for Sentro Rizal (literally "Rizal Center", named after Jose Rizal, the Philippines' national hero), which is the network of cultural hubs (like libraries or museums) where Filipino culture is preserved, located in dozens of cities around the world. So the vlog showed them visiting the Sentro Rizal Library in Jakarta.
It was very cool to see them rocking the "Barong Tagalog", the traditional formal attire for Filipino men -- yet still look young and modern with their hair colors and ear piercings! SB19 have been very up front that it's one of their goals to promote Filipino culture to the global audience, which aligns perfectly with their being designated as official cultural ambassadors. You could say that each time SB19 performs abroad -- even each time they teach someone the "Gento" dance steps -- they are just doing their official duties! 👇🇵🇭

This is after their PAGTATAG WORLD TOUR USA and CANADA tour. Supposedly after Indonesia they were supposed to go ASIAN concert tour like Dubai. Singapore, Thailand and Japan but something terrible happened regarding their legal issues with the former company, so everything was cancelled it was a rough and tough end of 2023 but thank God they made it and the JAPAN concert will resume this Feb 2024 i think and hopefully more concerts to come.

The Round Festival is held in South Korea (if I am not mistaken) yearly. But in 2023, they held it in Indonesia. The participants are all Asians (from Asian countries like South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, indonesia, Thailand and others). In 2021, SB19 was also invited in the Round Festival held in South Korea but because of covid restrictions, their performance was streamed from Manila. They were not able to fly to South Korea.
