It's a phenomenal shock IF you take the time to understand it, which most riders don't. Takes awhile to dial it in, and I don't have a ton to compare it to, but I love it. Doesn't have that pop some people might look for, but I'm not looking for a twitchy shock. I like the smoother, plush feel. Not the best uphill obviously, but especially for drops and technical downhill, try areas I've struggled with most, it's perfect. Very personal decision though with a ton of variables.

Totally agree. Fox shocks can feel terrible if you don’t take the time to learn how to set it up and do some research, but for those who are really trying to get a certain feel out of a shock it’s a great shock

Great. Thanks for the video. Is the new shock really that "much better" for small bump compliance? Cause my 2020 shock feels harsh in some situations (160mm travel). And what settings can I tweak to make the small bump compliance better in my 2020 shock? Thank you

Hey! thanks for the comment, I wouldn't say a world of a difference better, I think it is certainly an improvement, but if you can adjust your compression at all that is going to help you the most for getting more traction on the small bumps. Overall if you are really searching for a world better small bump compliance I would go with a coil, in my the coils are a lot better off the top.

I was just wondering how manny volume spacer are you running just trying to figure it out because idk if high speed compression or extra volume spacers is better for bottom out support

That’s a tricky one to tell for sure. I feel like sometimes I feel like to much high speed can affect the overall compression too much and throw your rebound off too if it’s too cranked up. I would try and add a volume spaced if you are looking for some bottom out support if you feel like your not getting enough out of your hsc

let us know if it really worth to invest in a new 2021. There is a lot of 2020 at nice price compared to the 2021

I have been spending some more time on the new shock since this video and really grown to like it compared to . I would say if you can score a sweet deal on do it, still a great shock. If you want that extra edge in your suspension go for the 2021
