I love washi! I also use it to delineate days in my journal. I was so desperate to corral & organize my huge stash that I just took an old piece of twine (it is thick like rope) and threaded each roll of washi on it then tied it off into a bow... that was just my temporary solution... until now! I need to go get some huge embroidery hoops, I love this idea! THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR WISDOM 😎😃😍

Washi Tape is also great to tape postcards photos quotes or really anything in your Bible or journal. I use it for postcards. I love antique postcards that I collect from around the world with angels on them or flowers.

Wow thank you soooooooo much for this video you are the only person who has explained what washi tape is. And how to use it. Your example is beautiful I will use it on my Bible....but I guess I now need to buy some washi tape. As other projects were not as interesting to me so I never purchased any., I really love how you store them.

I have a question, when you are putting the washi tape on the embroidery hoop how do you put them on there and do you remove the thing that comes in the hoop?
Does washi tape have a fabric top, i am trying to find tape with a fabric top on amazon any recommendations of good ones ?

the pink one with the cross was from Michaels. There are a few others as well from Michaels. Some are from Illustrated Faith.

I cut way back on my washi when I moved and now can store it in a much smaller box.
What are you using behind your Bible Pages for protection?
This looked to be thicker paper than the real thin paper that most Bibles use. Am I wrong? If I'm not does it work just as easy on the thin paper?

This one is so old, they no longer sell it. A silicone baking mat would suffice if you can’t find something similar.

Where did you get the protective mat ?
It's an old Heidi Swapp mat. I got it from Amazon - long ago.
How do you keep it from peeling?
This washi tape is really good quality so it doesn't peel on the corners of my pages. However, if yours is pulling, you can use matte medium over it to adhere it.

I love this video. Just a tip though. Genesis, Exodus, etc are called Books 📚 not chapters. The individual sections are called chapters. Don’t hate me for saying this. I love 💕 this video.

Thank you for your sharing of your creativity. I felt compelled by the spirit to let you know that any star, especially the 'classic' 5 pointed one all over everything (all flags, clothing, sports, brands, law enforcement etc etc etc) is the very same as the inverted star of Satan, or the pentagram. Whether it is right side up, as on the forehead of baphomet or inverted, does not change the meaning of the symbol. The circle around is an esoteric 'magic' circle used in invocation and evocation ritualistic worship, ie idolatry. Might not be the best to put in the Holy Scriptures.
I feel like skinny washi tape is much easier in my opinion.
