This is such a good compilation of ideas Johanna! I don’t know why I never thought of using tape to create an entire patterned background. Love it! Another idea is to use washi tape to underline titles on your page or to create decorative boxes for journaling.

I really love watching these, even the prior years. I’ve yet to make a junk journal for myself, but I have been collecting ephemera and a few washi tapes. I have all sorts of card stock from scrapbooking to put in it. Does that count? Probably not.
I was curious if you would be showing a flip through and more detailed video on utube if ur last soft cover journals made from vintage linens and trims??

Your journal is so pretty! I also use washi tapes to make tabs, then I can easily find those pages.

I make diecuts by attachng them to heavy paper or cardstock. Then use punches to cut out shapes I want.
