I actually got this livery twice in the span of a month. So, there's another flight on it coming up later. That one was the 800 though and it was from ANC-FAI.
that sight of Mt Rainer in the background love it. I usually fly from Raleigh to SEA then down to Eugene. its either been dark or overcast around there so this is a welcome sight!
WOWOWOWOWOW!!!! Super-Fantabulous views of Rainer!! That's the most glaciated mountain in the 48 states. It also has the highest prominence of any mountain by a wide margin. Looks like you caught it at the end of the mext season. Anyhow, we got hit by a windstorm during the night and made a big mess on our back yard. Looks like the more serious fall weather has arrived. So... remember that it's 7 years per hour on these flight, so make every second count.
Hey Traveler !! Outbound from home, and onwards to Hawaii, YAY !! The aircraft sure looks like a smaller presidential jet in its livery. Is that the sun in the distance? Very cool indeed. According to Google Maps, Overflight of the North East end of Yellowstone. Ok, Mt Rainier, St. Helen's and Hood off in the far distance !! What a cool view to be that close. It looks like he was coming in "Fast and Furious !!" And, if you are connecting to another airline, Well, You made your choice, Good Luck !! he he he he he
Love the livery! I live in KC so it’s nice to see a flight from here. Hope you liked the new terminal. MCI is always quick to check in then taxi time to the runway is always short Z
I do like the new terminal. It's a serious upgrade from what we used to have. Kansas City is my home airport, so I get to enjoy it quite frequently 😊. Thanks for watching!
Haha, no that's not it. Although, if it was I'm sure I wouldn't be a liberty to tell you that's what it was. No, I'm just an aviation enthusiast who started a channel years ago for fun, and that channel grew and grew to the point where it became my job. I've been running this channel as my sole job now for 2.5 years. Before that, I was an aircraft rescue firefighter and airport operations specialist at the Joplin Regional Airport.
Great fly! For my upcoming birthday on November 2nd, I will do a long road trip again but this time to Seattle from Greater Knoxville. It's a 38 hour drive so I have to leave few days before my birthday.
Enjoy the fall colors! I'm going up to Hellen, Georgia for October Fest. I haven't been there for 20 years, so I'm looking forward to it. I really hope they got all their power back after Helene. It was hell, too for so many people, especially Chimney Rock, North Carolina.
I hope you get to take your family here some time, because the North Georgia mountains are really lovely. I'm going to Hellen, Georgia tomorrow for October Fest, and I love the Christmas shop and the German food. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it's worth it for all the food you get. Also, there are lots of other areas to visit like Dahlonega, and the Smith House restaurant is my favorite there. They've got the best fried chicken going! Come see us!
Well, I fly a lot now because I run this channel full time. And uploading 365 videos per year... Well 366 videos this year haha... Anyway, uploading that many videos per year requires a lot of flying. And yes, I get plenty of rest. See, because I run this channel full time I run it like a business. Which means I try to limit my expenses as much as possible so the business doesn't fail. And my second largest expense every year behind airfare, is hotels. So I try to limit the number of days I'm staying in hotels, which. means I fly as much as I can on the days that I am flying getting content. My record is taking 8 flights in a single day, but that's not typical. I've only done that once. On a more typical day I fly 3 or 4 segments. Flying 4 segments a day when I fly allows me to fly around 8 days per month, meaning I'm home for 20+ days per month. Which gives me plenty of time to rest. Anyway, I'm glad you find the videos relaxing my friend! I thank you for taking the time to watch and comment!
I run an aviation RUclips channel where I upload 365 videos per year 😅. That's it haha. Uploading a new video every day means I have to fly a lot, or I'd run out of content to post. This channel used to be a hobby, but over the years it grew into a full time job, and I've run the channel as my full time job for approaching 3 years now. And that's why I fly so much. 90% of what you see on here I take soles to film for this channel.
@@csarine I wouldn't be able to do it as a job if I lost money doing it, would I? I run this channel like a business now, and I wouldn't be able to keep uploading if I was losing money every month. So, no lose money. I do have to pay a lot of money to take all the flights, but most months the ad revenues and my income from Patreon and channel members covers it all.
That is all you get. And technically I only get the chocolate because I have Alaska MVP Gold status. Only those with MVP Gold or higher status get that haha.
@@heatherstuba biscoff cookie and a price of dark chocolate. The chocolate I only got because of my Alaska airlines status. So the normal passengers who don’t fly 200 times a year like me only got the cookie.
You might notice the "s" missing in Kansas City in the preflight information, and I know it's an honest mistake. It might not seem necessary, but I find it helpful to use the spell checker to check myself, because I try to proofread everything I type before I click "Save" or "Comment", because I get to typing so fast that I don't realize I added an extra "a" or missed a letter while typing. It really helps. Great video as well. Keep up the great work.
Thanks my friend. I do use spell check haha. And I do actually go through each description multiple times before I move on to the next one. Unfortunately though, as I’m sure you’re aware, you often miss your own mistakes as your brain knows what it’s supposed to be so it simple ignores the mistakes. As for spell check, I’m actually not sure why it didn’t catch that. I even went back in to the document I use to keep all my templates and finished descriptions and it wasn’t listing that as a mistake even though it was typed that way in there too. So I either accidentally ignored or when running the check, or that is also a word for something I don’t know of haha. We may never know for sure. Regardless, it’s fixed now.
@@sla31 Great job, and I can see your point. I listen to what I type, so perhaps I'm more hypervigilent, but I've missed one or two spots, but JAWS, (Job Access With Speech), really makes it clear when I miss something. I get it most of the time. Thanks so much for the feedback. Great work!
Hi there. I just noticed the name of your channel. Any time I see the word Chrism, I think of the Holy Chrism I was sealed with the Holy Spirit on April 5, 1987. I'm still an Orthodox Christian, and I hope you're not put off by my comment. I just love the name of your channel!
147. And that might go up by a couple before the year is over, but for the most part I'm pretty much done with flights for this year as my around the world trip will cover the channel now until January 4th.

It is a very nice airport. But it should be for costing over $1 billion. 😂
