Great trip report. Was thinking of flying Alaska for the first time. I would have been flying from Washington DC to San Diego but noticed there are no movie/tv monitors in the seat backs. I’m used to Delta’s A320 or A321 Neo both of which make flying so much more enjoyable with the seat back monitors for movie or tv selections. Guess I’ll just stick with Delta.
Not aure if I'm ready to board MAX yet given it's Deadly and unsafe history...oddly Alaska only had the doorissue and southwest never had any issues with it. Also alot of the flights I've done from Seattle to Vegas went thru either S or N gates and I think one of my Arizona flights did to

But do you use any mount for your camera for airport footage or do you just use your phone?
Only time I use a mount is takeoff and landing, all other times is hand

Do you have any questions regarding the Max aircraft or how pilots are now trained on it? I’m a current pilot for an operator that flys the Max.
