Hello, I am a staff of CX, back office staff but not Crew!! It is happy to see many many of new joiners in CX city in these 2 years. I joined in year 2021, I remembered that there was difficult to locate a Cabin Crew and/or cockpit crew at that time. Blessing to your guys, enjoy your job and having happy & safety flights!!!
If you rent a condo in hongkong, just be careful the landlord, somtimes they are very greedy and not tell you the secret of their condo. Only find professional can check which area of thos condos have problem. Also, I got a video interview assement from cathay pacific so I dont know will I be your colleague soon.

Yes it is coz u earn quite well basic salary + layover allowance + turnaround allowance +extra hours allowance And housing allowance is extra Soo if u look a flat with a roommate it would be nice

Basic 9kish Layover allowance depends on where you go and how long you stay. They send you to all the nice places on the first year like nyc or madrid and youll get around 7k to 15k. Based on how many nights and whats the most expensive item on the hotel menu for breakfast lunch and dinner + laundry Turnaround is pocket change Housing allowance is 7k or 10k was it? Its not available for locals. Extra hours i have no idea. But unless you get 4 long hauls a month or working your ass off on short haul everyday, you wont get to 70. Rent in hk depending where you live, 15k in tungchung for 2 rooms. Can find 10k for a bachelors if you haggle in tuen mun or tsing yi. Most will live with other crew cause the pay is so shit and cost of living is so high. Expect more if its furnished and covenient.

It really depends on the area … area close to airport are quite expensive and lil inside like tun meun area is lil cheap But if u are sharing a flat it won’t be a problem

Traffic is a huge issue by Gold Coast so beware if you need to catch a "Flight"

1-2 months they will wait Untill all the slot have cleared the medicals

Yes if u make 100 hours can can earn pretty well on top of that u get layover allowance + turnaround +no sick leave +housing +basic
