Great review! The close ups were really helpful. Can you do more of those for your foundation reviews? I actually liked the Dior better on you. I wasn't sure if it was the lighting or what but it somehow looked brighter to me. Love the thoroughness of your review! Thanks!
Ahh....that would be so cool. I have already decided what I want chad to paint for me...I am assuming he will work on it when I am in florida in a couple weeks. He always tends to take that week to get a painting done for me. He did such a gorgeous one last year during that week, so I can't wait!!
I bought the Bobbi brown one and I'm absolving love with it. I love how brightening it is but not over the top. I'm curious about that too faced powder. This is unrelated but I just bought the Sephora pro warm eye shadow palette and I was really impressed. Have a nice day. I absolutely love your videos.
I am undecided on that palette so far...I really need to go in store and check it out...it looks really nice. I am LOVING the too faced powder honestly....it seems to work really well for me under my eyes as well.
Only use foundation but feel the need for a concealer now and your video is great and very helpful. From what I can see I like the look of the Dior. I am 61 and would prefer the matte look. They both seem to have good coverage. Thank you for such great detail and helping me choose.
I love your videos and honestly on products. Real opinion and not watching a commercial. Please do Top 5 on cream contour and bronzer😍 what eyeshadows are you wearing? Very beautiful ♥️
Love the close up💗you are so gorgeous Mandy❣️ I guessed the left side on your Instagram post & I'm still liking the left side after your full day of wear. You should do a video ~do's and don'ts on makeup artist doing makeup Lancôme concealer is awesome I will still with that one thanks for your review 😘❤️❤️❤️
Have you tried the Giorgio Armani high precision retouch concealer? Curious how you think it compares to the Bobbi brown serum. Also, what shade are you in the Lancôme? I don't have a lot of dark circles but need something that lasts the day.
I haven't, but honestly so many people have mentioned that one to me. I love the corrector from them so much, that I can't believe I haven't tried the concealer yet. I am in Beige Neutral in the Lancome. :)
Great review. Very thorough. I just purchased the new BB concealer. I found a color (don't have it available) that had quite a bit of peach in it so I don't wear corrector or anything else. The only thing I can say is I have to wear a under eye moisturizer first as a primer before putting the concealer on. Patting with fingers, you're right best due to warmth of fingers. For me lasts all day.
Oh yes definitely for the eye cream or some kind of moisture under it...I always have applied an eye cream first and if it's been awhile, I will go in again with an oil.
Oh, I wonder if you could take the stopper out of the BB to get more product out when you're using for clients? I've done that before when I'm trying to get the last of a product (gloss, concealer, etc). Just a thought!
I am so often a sucker for a new "full" coverage concealer. I have come to the conclusion that under eye darkness is not the biggest problem; it's the awful bags and deep troughs they create that bedevil me. Procedures are needed, sadly, but I'm not ready. Love love love the great plummy brown eyeshadow you are wearing here!
Excellent review Mandy! I don't use concealer under my eyes- I don't have dark circles. If I'm puffy, I use the It Cosmetics corrector tapped on with my finger and MAC Fast Response eye cream. I use concealer for skin discoloration, left over blemish marks. I love the MUFE Full Cover for this purpose. You have such pretty eyes- as a fellow artist, I swoon over your lid space 😍 love how detail oriented you are with your reviews 👍🏼
Hi. I just got the Bobbi Brown one. What corrector works with it? Also can it mix with other ones if you need different colors? I tend to lighten or make ones less dry with the regular Born this way concealer in Fairest. How does it compare to Nars Radiant? Everyone loves it but I’m on the fence about it for many reasons, mostly drying. Thanks Mandy!!
I thought the same thing- I feel like the Bobbie Brown is like sparkling compound but I just started patting a little strivecta (on sale at Costco) and it does blend now- DIOR not so much- TOO sheer!! still looking but only because not much comes on the container-
You are so beautiful, Mandy! LOVE your corrector & concieler reviews with wearing tests!! I really appreciate, that you don't use corrector with concieler test, that we can see real results! And you are SO right, that it's not sanitary to use same wand with multiple people; Can't believe, that even "professional" MUAs do that :/ I would not dip even my own applicator with my own blemishes (if I ever have any).. I think I have to try Bobbi Brown, even if I hate applicator, but the concieler sounds good.. So would it make it's way even to your Top 5 :)?
I am so you did this review and came to the conclusion that these are not better than the Lancome. After your previous concealer review I did buy the Lancome concealer and I Love it. It does not crease on me, covers perfectly and is easy to apply. Thank you so much.
Good morning! Thank you for your last comment! I, too, think my Lancome concealer is still at the top!! BTW, I'm sure you know but it's Lancome's GWP at Dillards !! Cute bag with this gift!!!
Thanks for your review on these, I've been eyeing them! What colors from the a chocolate bar did you use? I love this look! What do you think of the Make Up For Ever Aqua eye paint? Excited to see all your hard work in your new room!
Sure thing Alyssa! Oh goodness, let me think. I used Salted Caramel, Marzipan, Semi Sweet and Milk Chocolate. I am really liking the eye paints...I only have the one but I do love it. :)
Hi lovely review, much better dan other famous youtubers. Love u lots!which has better coverage for dark spots and blemishes? Nars bobbi brown or lancome concealer?
Isn't it funny different perceptions - what we see versus what you see. I immediately thought the Dior side looked way brighter when you applied it. The BB side looks like it had more creasing at the end of the day (but that could be, as you said, because there are just more creases on that side!). Both look similar when all your makeup was applied. Beautiful as usual!
ha...the dior color is lighter on me for sure but I feel like throughout the day the bobbi brown kept the coverage better therefore looked brighter...at least that's what I saw, but you are right perceptions are always different. :)
I WISH I looked like you after I went to the gym!! I look like I've been put through the ringer LOL!! I do think the B.B. concealer looked a little better. I wish she were cruelty free, though! 😩😩😩
Thank you girl...I think the concealer would be the same without the stopper because of the actual applicator...I think the tip is the only place that would pick up product no matter what. :(
Ok before I saw this... i was over at Sephora and added the bb to my loves til I could research it! Lol!!! Ohhhh it bye bye. Nope. Can not use that! I need a tutorial on that one. It looks oily and patchy on me... I'm so glad I watched this!! The Dior looks luminous or highlighted or something. That may just be me. Lol! Have u tried the maybelline lumi concealer highlighters? I'm new so I don't know if you do drugstore at all. :) so sorry for the novel. Concealers are a passion! Thanks honey!! Xoxo!!!
I haven't tried the Maybelline ones unless it has been years and years ago which is always possible. :) I tend to go for the higher coverage ones because my darkness is so intense. Have you tried the Lancome Efferecernes ? It's so so good and continues to be my fave.
To me, the bb side looked like a slightly fractionally pinker tone after a whole days wear than the Dior? So maybe it helps correct even more? Its so hard to find consensus when everyone has a different screen or device to watch with lol
So true...it is hard with all the different ways to watch no doubt. I do agree though...the bobbi brown corrected and brightened better in "real life". :)
At the end of 10 hours plus the gym and your makeup looked just applied fresh!! 🙌 how do you keep your makeup from not budging.... going to go watch all your videos now to see what primers and setting products you use - you're so talented! Also, when you said "here's what we're going to do..." and then corrected yourself... lol I do this all the time, The worst is when I'm paying for groceries at the check out and they ask if I need help with a carry out, my response "No thanks, we're okay..." but I'm by myself 😬 lol! I think "we" get a pass though because when you have kids you're usually never alone.
HAHAHA....I totally get that for sure!! I think a lot of it has to do with my skin being very normal...I really don't get oily and it isn't dehydrated which can tend to suck up products. But primers and powders definitely help! :)
Hi.Your video is amazing. I just want to know how do you use concealer from lancome as it's shelf life only 6 months after opening?Isn't becomes expired after that and not safety ? thank you.
Thanks! I often don't pay attention to the exact expiration dates. I personally feel like many of them are marketing ploys to get you to buy products more often. I have never had a concealer that went bad after six months. I go by smell and performance to determine when I throw out. :)
+Mandy Davis MUA thank you for your answer☺.Your video helped me greatly to make my choice of the concealer,I appreciate your work. I tried Lancome in store before and as it's better in your opinion that BB and CD,I repurchased my favorite concealer from Shiseido Sheer eye zone corrector #103.I use only it more than 2,5 years. It's only 3.8ml but goes with me 1 year☺ while the shelf life is 24 months.I believe it's the best to make my extremely sensitive undereye area youthful and moisturizing.
I have...I actually really like it...you have to use the tiniest amount and I find a brush works best. I have used it in a couple of tutorials recently...my daytime summer vacation look is one of them I think.
Maybe I should try one of these! I got the Lancôme you recommended and it would slip up and coat my contacts no matter what powder, foundation, or primer I used. It was the weirdest thing, I've never had a concealer so that. I used less and less and still within half an hour I couldn't see bc my lenses were covered in concealer. Any tips for preventing this?
Katrina S , I'm wondering if it's what's under the concealer causing it to slip up...the combo of the two?? I have issues with concealers but I don't with this one... Maybe try a different, lighter eye cream with this concealer and see if it helps! ...and set it with (I prefer) Laura Mericer's Secret Brightening Powder VERY lightly!!! Good luck!
Hmmmm, I haven't heard of this before, but I am on the same page as Karen and think maybe it's something you put underneath??? I wish I could help more....I have used the Lancome on soooooo many clients and not had that issue, so I am not sure. What is underneath when you apply?
I don't use an eye cream in the morning. So clean lightly moisturized skin. I tried four difference primers, foundations, setting powders and with and without color corrector. I don't know why my under eye isn't cooperating but my contacts get coated to the point I have to take them out to see.
Hmmmm....that is a hard one....it is SO close but if I had to pick one that had a bit more coverage, I would probably say NARS, only because I don't often have to go on my tear line a second time with that one like I do with the Bobbi Brown. :)
I don't wear undereye concealer, so my favorite part of this video is the part where the background stayed the same, LOL! Btw girl, I just loved your Instagram story yesterday with mr moose on the couch -- I sent you comments there ;-)
I cannot wear the BB under my eyes. But if I don't want to wear foundation and just slap on some concealer to hide my redness and go, the BB is amazing.
Sure thing Lisa...it helps when you put a drop of oil on beforehand...I forgot to do that in this video but it makes a world of difference for the outcome and overall look. :)
Great review! The close ups were really helpful. Can you do more of those for your foundation reviews? I actually liked the Dior better on you. I wasn't sure if it was the lighting or what but it somehow looked brighter to me. Love the thoroughness of your review! Thanks!
I haven't tried either of these yet. Still working on my Tarte Shape Tape. Nothing compares to that for me.
Marla Robinson do you find it drying? Or that it settled on fine lines? It's crazyyyy pigmented and potent but I just couldn't use it 😩
It was drying for me too....I tried it several different ways. I keep going back to Armani Master Corrector.
Trisha H I use the teeny, tiniest bit of marula oil under my eyes before applying. It's perfect.
If you have found something you love and works for you, I say stick with it girl...I am just always looking for the next best thing. LOL
Marla Robinson Tarte doesnt have CORRECTOR SHADES and it makes my undereye blueness worse.
I wish I lived close enough to come paint a pretty mural on your new wall(s)! Can't wait to see your new beauty room!
Ahh....that would be so cool. I have already decided what I want chad to paint for me...I am assuming he will work on it when I am in florida in a couple weeks. He always tends to take that week to get a painting done for me. He did such a gorgeous one last year during that week, so I can't wait!!
How fun...a new beauty room! And a future tour :) Loved the in depth comparison...as always!
Thanks Jessica...yes, I hope to do a tour in a few weeks. :)

New subscriber who is so impressed that's what u look like after the gym, I'm going back to rewatch every single foundation video you've ever done!! 😀
hahaha...thank you so much and welcome!

You are so welcome Cheryl!
Great review. Your reviews are so detailed which I really appreciate. Thank you!
Sure thing Brenda!!! xoxo
Great review Mandy, I don't use concealers but I'll watch anything you put up!
Hope you got your room done! xxoo
Thank you so much Beverly! We plan on having it done by this weekend.....can't wait!
I love your videos and honestly on products. Real opinion and not watching a commercial. Please do Top 5 on cream contour and bronzer😍 what eyeshadows are you wearing? Very beautiful ♥️

Lancôme concealer is awesome I will still with that one thanks for your review 😘❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much! I agree...stick with the Lancome...you can't go wrong with that one!
Have you tried the Giorgio Armani high precision retouch concealer? Curious how you think it compares to the Bobbi brown serum. Also, what shade are you in the Lancôme? I don't have a lot of dark circles but need something that lasts the day.

thank you ginny!! They can definitely be an issue too for sure! I have heard fillers work wonder for it, but I totally get not being ready for it.

I'm going to try applying the BB concealer like you did here. Maybe I won't have to send it back (I do not enjoy trips to the post office!).
Oh I hope you can get it to work for you!

Hi Mandy, I'm wondering if you've tried the brand new Lancôme concealer, & if so, your opinion. Thanks! Becky

Did you like Too Faced BTW Powder and what's your current fave under eye setting powder?
I do love the too faced under the eye actually...my fave all time is the NARS crystal setting powder pressed. :)
Can you please let me know what kind of corrector you use please for my dark circles??
I use many different kinds, but my faves are the sephora bright future gel corrector, tarte cc corrector, and giorgio armani corrector in orange.
I don't wear undereye concealer, so my favorite part of this video is the part where the background stayed the same, LOL! Btw girl, I just loved your Instagram story yesterday with mr moose on the couch -- I sent you comments there ;-)
bahahahaha...and don't you know it's still there! We have painted and chad is finishing my backdrop so I am hoping we have it all done this weekend.
I cannot wear the BB under my eyes. But if I don't want to wear foundation and just slap on some concealer to hide my redness and go, the BB is amazing.
Oh I bet it would be amazing...even mixed with a moisturizer for a full face foundation. :)
I have a sephora concelar that you have to dip over and over
Yeah, I know of that one. It's just like that. They have fixed the Sephora one now and it's a normal doe foot thankfully!
Great review as usual!
Thank you!!!
I love a lot of Bobbi brown products. The thickness kinda scared me being a "mature" women but I may give it a go. Thanks for the review
Sure thing Lisa...it helps when you put a drop of oil on beforehand...I forgot to do that in this video but it makes a world of difference for the outcome and overall look. :)
Mandy Davis MUA thanks for the suggestion. Will definitely try!
