Wanted to tell you how much your skin care advice has meant to me over the past 4 years. You more than anyone I have watched have done a terrific job at showing me what a difference good skin care can make even with older skin. I'm 71 now and I get comments from people that don't know me on how young my face looks for my age. I have you to thank for much of the improvement. Have a happy New Year
@@susanh2924 Watch Angie's past videos on skin care. Choose a few items to try, I suggest a moisturizer and Timeless Vit C to start. See if they work for you.. No need to go high end. They make so many good products that don't cost a fortune. Not every skin is the same, so what you need might not be what someone else needs. Keep it simple. For my body I use Gold Bond moisturizes especially in the winter. Plus I use some serums now and then. I use the Moonlight by Maelove now instead of Tretinoin - sadly the Tretinoin tears up my skin too much. I can use it on my neck and chest & nose and sometimes on my cheeks but not elsewhere. Like I said not every skin is the same.

How do you ever find a foundation from the drugstore when you can’t even see inside the bottle? I assume I have warm skin b/c 90% of foundations, including neutrals, make me look jaundice. Somewhere between light and medium. And that’s all i know. I’m 43 and never found a good foundation for me - mostly color, sometimes formula, sometimes the whole oil primer/water foundation did me in i suspect.
I love that Basma stick foundation! I bought it and never tried it until I was on an overnight flight and wanted to avoid liquids. OMG…I discovered it’s the best for my 78 yo skin…improves texture and I don’t need a separate concealer! Now I can’t put it down! ❤
Very pleased to hear about two good drugstore foundations. My favorite - Clinique even better glow - has been discontinued. I hate it when they do that. So I will try one of the ones you recommended although it's always so hard to find the perfect color.
I always go with the cheaper drugstore or Walmart options. I live on a tight budget and I think your skin condition plays alot in to whether your makeup works or not. I am 71 and have my share of wrinkles. Every foundation I have tried always settles in my wrinkles. I am going to try the Revlon illuminate. Thank you for this very informative video. Enjoyed it.

I love the Loreal True Match. N3 is now my perfect color :). I couldn’t get a great match before.! I’m grateful you tested the reformulation. I bought it right away and am amazed how smoothing it is on my skin!

I have really been happy with the Elf contoure ,halo. Blends nicely. Also like the Nyx concealer' highly pigmented, need precious little dots for both eyes.
I got the Anastasia Rum Punch matte lipstick. I always go to my Mac matte lipsticks for long wear and staying in place but a pale RUclipsr recommended this shade (which looks much darker in the tube than on. I do wish the had a darker matte but love this one). I can’t believe how much I love this lipstick and I’m glad to see it here!

I finally got your travel size make up brush set for Christmas and I am over the moon. All the brushes are fantastic but that little kitten paw brush is the bomb. I tried a dupe, the rare beauty, concealer brush, but nothing dupes your wonderful brush. Now I just need the 101 and I’m set.
The Loreal True Match is the best! My 55 yo combo oily skin loves that it is satin formula and is alcohol free! So glad to have found the NYX eyeliner . The gunmetal is similar to the long time discontinued Physicial Formula shimmer sticks that i loved!
I bought the Peter Thomas Roth Primer, which I LOVE, and the Revlon Illuminance foundation, but found the foundation still showed off my wrinkles and definitely looked like I had foundation on. Like a lot of it! Am I missing something?
I haven’t worn mascara in years but took your Caliray suggestion a few months ago. I love it too. Also like the Nyx eyeliner suggestions. So good for tight lining. I bought the same colors as you and they work every bit as easily as you said. So happy that you try so many products so we don’t have to. I have neither the money nor inclination to try so many products. Thanks so much for your 2023 reviews. Looking forward to more in 2024.

Also, I like your hair color as well. I've been highlighting my hair for years, though want to go a little darker and really like your shade of blonde. Angie did you ever try the Dior Cushion Compact with spf 50? It was an incredible product that I believe is now discontinued. ☹️☹️ I am looking forward to something to replace it. The DRMTLGY tinted moisturizer is very sheer and not good re coverage like the Dior one.

I’m so grateful that you actually wear test products. I’ve been using the Nira for almost a year now, along with nuface and omnilux. I have noticed improvements in the supporting structure of my skin. I had sinking areas that have filled back in. I am sooo consistent, and it pays off. I think these three devices together plus time equals improvement.
I heartily agree!! I’ve been using the NuFace and Omnilux for only a month and what a difference already! It’s amazing how the NuFace lifted immediately, and how my skin texture has changed in such a short time with the omnilux. I got the contour mask and the neck bib, which I also use on my hands, and am extremely happy with the investment in all these, esp compared to the cost of office procedures, even just a few facials. I’m also consistent, using them all every day so far, and it is absolutely worth the effort! ❤

I would love your travel kit by the foundation brush I have in the regular size and find that one way too large and your best size down one is so much better. Wish you offered the smaller foundation for travel which imo is better for travel anyway.
Your concealer brush is FANTASTIC !!! I purchased it on the recommendation of a friend and I am amazed at how perfectly it applies concealer. I even use it to put foundation in the under eye area. I am truly impressed. Thank you for brainstorming that design. Absolutely love it.

I got the Angie concealer brush and two eyeshadow brushes and I LOVE ❤️ them!!! I have literally well over 100 brushes and nothing else I have is like that concealer brush and I love how small the eye brushes are and they are all so soft. My eye lidis are sensitive and the eye brushes don't irritate my lids at all. Great job Angie! I will be getting the rest of the set. 😊
Thank you Angie. As always I really appreciate all your hard work. Tip: This year I have been copying and pasting the best yearly product links, found under the button more, into a word processing program and making a copy. I then watch the video and make notes as Angie goes along. I then put the copy in my glove compartment and when I'm at Ulta or wherever and I can't remember what was on the list. It allows me to shop with purpose and hit sales effectively. Happy New Year all you beautiful ladies.

My favorite drugstore concealer is Neutrogena radiant cream concealer. I have very dry skin so I use a lot of moisturizers and this one doesn't crease up with all the moisturizers. My favorite high end concealer was Josie Maran Vibrancy concealer with Argan Oil, but it has been discontinued.

I really love the it concealer. The tube with the brush on the end looks similar to the Maybelline concealer. I love it concealer….never seems to crease in my wrinkles. I am 68….so I have plenty of those.😉. Thank you always, Angie for the great information.

You should try the Moira lip liners. I have some of your reccomedations, and I like those too. I prefer twist up because the wooden, sharpenable lipliners tend to dry out before I finish the pencil up (happens to me with NYX Line loud. The lead feel out). I ve only tested the Moira for 5 hours, but it held up for those just fine, which is good. A lot of lipliners just disappear in an hour or 2.

Try the Mac Unfiltered Nudes eyeshadow palette if you haven't already. Mac works the best on my crepey lids! I've got those stinging eyelids too! Will try your eye primer recommendations. The Saie cream bronzer is my HG!!

Thinking about video ideas…if you do a healthy eating/workout video, maybe include what you do for skincare before working out, knowing it’ll be washed off? I struggle with this on work days (I work from home - I want to look ok for any morning meetings but not ready to work out till later)…I’ve been doing a Cetaphyl 30 spf moisturizer for taking dog out 1st thing then doing full skincare after shower or bath. Need to find consistent workout time and getting ready plan. Help!!

I would love your travel kit by the foundation brush I have in the regular size and find that one way too large and your best size down one is so much better. Wish you offered the smaller foundation for travel which imo is better for travel anyway.
Your concealer brush is FANTASTIC !!! I purchased it on the recommendation of a friend and I am amazed at how perfectly it applies concealer. I even use it to put foundation in the under eye area. I am truly impressed. Thank you for brainstorming that design. Absolutely love it.

I got the Angie concealer brush and two eyeshadow brushes and I LOVE ❤️ them!!! I have literally well over 100 brushes and nothing else I have is like that concealer brush and I love how small the eye brushes are and they are all so soft. My eye lidis are sensitive and the eye brushes don't irritate my lids at all. Great job Angie! I will be getting the rest of the set. 😊
Thank you Angie. As always I really appreciate all your hard work. Tip: This year I have been copying and pasting the best yearly product links, found under the button more, into a word processing program and making a copy. I then watch the video and make notes as Angie goes along. I then put the copy in my glove compartment and when I'm at Ulta or wherever and I can't remember what was on the list. It allows me to shop with purpose and hit sales effectively. Happy New Year all you beautiful ladies.
Yep, I keep the list in the Notes app on my phone since everything blurs together when I’m standing in front of all those pretty displays at the store! Lol

My favorite drugstore concealer is Neutrogena radiant cream concealer. I have very dry skin so I use a lot of moisturizers and this one doesn't crease up with all the moisturizers. My favorite high end concealer was Josie Maran Vibrancy concealer with Argan Oil, but it has been discontinued.

I really love the it concealer. The tube with the brush on the end looks similar to the Maybelline concealer. I love it concealer….never seems to crease in my wrinkles. I am 68….so I have plenty of those.😉. Thank you always, Angie for the great information.

You should try the Moira lip liners. I have some of your reccomedations, and I like those too. I prefer twist up because the wooden, sharpenable lipliners tend to dry out before I finish the pencil up (happens to me with NYX Line loud. The lead feel out). I ve only tested the Moira for 5 hours, but it held up for those just fine, which is good. A lot of lipliners just disappear in an hour or 2.

Try the Mac Unfiltered Nudes eyeshadow palette if you haven't already. Mac works the best on my crepey lids! I've got those stinging eyelids too! Will try your eye primer recommendations. The Saie cream bronzer is my HG!!

Thinking about video ideas…if you do a healthy eating/workout video, maybe include what you do for skincare before working out, knowing it’ll be washed off? I struggle with this on work days (I work from home - I want to look ok for any morning meetings but not ready to work out till later)…I’ve been doing a Cetaphyl 30 spf moisturizer for taking dog out 1st thing then doing full skincare after shower or bath. Need to find consistent workout time and getting ready plan. Help!!
