Here is a quick flow drill that I like to teach to my students in order to develop their hip mobility, leg dexterity, and coordination between arms and legs.
You gotta be familiar with the armbar, triangle, and omoplata, so if you are a brand new white belt this is probably not the best drill for you...
But if you are familiar with those submissions, this drill can definitely help your transitions and Jiu Jitsu overall.
    Hope you like it.

The movement speed, explanations, as well as the angle at which this is recorded is a huge help in understanding the position of your limbs. This is a great video! Thanks!

As much fun as sparring is, I really think 6 solid months of drilling with occasional 70% resistance, focused positional rolling and occasional flow rolling is the way to go.
Based on nothing other than frustration at having "mastered" no submissions in about the same time.
But, with rolling that whole time, I am really quite decent at defense, and above average at advancing position, so there is that.

Most important thing I took from this was you mentioning arm poaitioning. I know how to do the transtions and I have done them, but that one part made it where I actually know it. Not just do it because we are scrambling.

I like the shoulder grab for the armbar you are showing. For the longest time we were not taught this and grabing only the forearm was unrealistic. It`s true that there are better ways of doing this, like using your hamstrings to put him off balance, but I like this variation as well.
